Not a minute after he'd chugged the potion and the Headmaster headed back down the tunnel, he felt the shaking in his limbs. His whole body trembled and shook, he tossed his head about on his neck as it grew longer, as his eyes changed and as thick fur grew from his skin. The familiar, horrible pain...welcome back...
He howled and whined until he was completely in werewolf form. Then he huddled in the corner, a harmless monster.
"AoooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
He howled in pain loudly, staring at his paws that he hadn't seen for a month. It was odd to be seeing this, really. His second time using Wolfsbane...he still wasn't used to it. He hated seeing himself like this, really. He looked out the cracks of the boarded up windows to see the moon, so much moonlight. The sun was completely down now and he was howling in pain perhaps a bit too loudly. He tried to return to his own mind, just calm down. It was still so difficult, so unusual for him to actually know who and where he was. He tossed his head in a dog-like way when they're trying to dry themselves off after they got wet. He dug his claws into the floorboards and snarled a few times. There had been very little time for the Wolfsbane potion to take effect, and it was showing. There would certainly be no sleeping tonight, no question.

It was painfully boring. Painful, and so so very dull. Like Rhiannon's cell in Azkaban, but this transformation only lasted on night at least, not one month straight.
He growled and paced around the room until he was sure that if he continued there would soon be a ring on the floor from the circle he walked in. He jumped up on the bed and clenched his aching paws. He kept tossing his head as if there were bugs swarming around it and kept shaking his tail.
He was freezing without his over-sized coat, but at least with the fur it wasn't all that bad. When he curled up in a fuzzy ball, it was actually almost cute. (i'm going by the HP books and all other descriptions i've heard of werewolves, not the one without fur that was in the movies. Like, a wolf with just a few differences)
He whimpered a bit pathetically, letting low, rumbling growls echo throughout the shack. Soooo much pain... It was like getting his head hit violently against a brick wall. He got up and paced again for a few hours until he grew bored of that too and just curled up in a ball in the corner. He turned around three times before he sat down, as dogs do.

Headmistress Lillian Van Nikolai
Lillian rushed into the shack fairly early in the morning. She came with Lucas's quidditch robes that she had summoned. She ran in and handed them to him,
"Here, hurry, quidditch practice." She shook him awake a bit frantically.
"Lucas, are you alright? You can rest, you don't need to go to the practice, I don't know how fit you are for it..."
She looked into his dull eyes and the dark circles underneath, his hair looking noticabely greyer than before.
But Lucas protested, insiting he didn't want to disspoint Fionna and the team. Lillian didn't just think he was trying to impress Fionna because she was captain, considering how the only person Fionna had asked for in the hospital wing was him. So she kinda patted his head a bit and said, "Just take it easy, okay?" soothingly, and left.

Lucas shook his head and gripped it tightly in his hands.
"No. I have to go to practice, I can't let down Fionna and the team." He kept repeating, He knew the Headmaster had his best interest at heart, he just needed to make this practice. He'd hate to see Fionna's let-down face, especially considering how he'd kinda been rude and ignored her the other day. She'd just gotten way too close to finding out, is all. Way too close.
When the headmistress left, he changed into his quidditch robes and the dissillusion charm on himself. He took it off as he neared the field, which was a fair amount while later. He was walking groggily, but he put on his best smile as he reached the team.

Lillian walked to the shrieking shcak with Fionna, there was no point in going through the secret tunnel and they didn't need the dissillusion charms when it was daytime and no one would suspect them of anything.
When they got closer to the shack, she put a dissillusion charm on though, it would look weird just walking in there. She told Fionna to just hang on for one sec, and she rapped her gently on the top of the head with her wand. She was a human chameleon now, too.
"Alright, let's go on in." She said, and they headed into the shack. Once inside, she took the dissillusion spells off and smiled.
"Now, let's try walking around the shack as animals, so you can get the feel of walking around more than just an empty classroom or bathroom as a snow leopard. On the count of three...one, two, three."
She thought about being a doe and nothing else and in an instant, she became one. She had a white tail and three small white spots on her right leg, those were her marking that distinguished her from another doe. The three dots formed a small triangle and Lillian began walking around the room a bit, glad to be in this form where she felt so wild and carefree.

She had never been inside the shrieking shack. Of course she had seen it from the outside in hogsmeade but she had always believed the stories about it not thinking that it had been a place for werewolves during the full moon in years past.
As the disillusionment charm was placed on her it felt a bit weird. It trickled down her turning her into a chameleon that blended in with its surroundings. She didn't much like having this spell on her and was glad when the headmistress removed it.
Fionna nodded to the headmistress and focused when the headmistress started counting. She transformed a few moments after the headmistress taking a bit longer to get into the mental state. The leopard was awestruck at what stood in front of her. A beautiful doe prancing around the room. Fionna sat there a moment watching the headmistress and studying her before standing up herself and moving around a bit.

Lillian walked around swifly and gracefully as a deer, it had been a while since she'd done this, but she caught on quickly. Her legs were skinny though, so at one point her long leg nearly got stuck in a loose floorboard. She decided then, to be hilarious. See, deer make really odd noises as she knew perfectly well, being one. But she wanted to get Fionna's attention to let her know not to walk around here. After all, as a snow leopard, she might fall through. She weighed a lot more than a skinny doe, and Lucas as a wolf could fall through too. So she made one of those really weird deer squeaky noises, and it certainly got Fionna's attention alright. When she saw the look on the snow leopard's face, she transformed back and immeditally started laughing. Whatever, adults can still go crazy with laughter here and there. After about twenty seconds of just straight laughing she grinned. "You don't want to step here, there's a loose floorboard, it's near the back of the shack anways but I'd just figure I'd get your attention and let you know. As I can see, you've probably never heard a deer before?" She was still grinning. ...Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it...

Fionna was looking the other way when she heard an outrageous noise. She immediately hissed and bared her teeth when she tired and her face turned from aggression to bewilderment as she saw it was the doe producing such noises.
She stood there staring oddly at the headmistress and almost losing her form, but she managed to stay in it again. Luckily she was able to concentrate well with distractions or she would be doomed to transforming back at anything she saw or heard.
Fionna did transform back when the Headmistress stopped laughing though. Her face was still befuddled and she exclaimed, "Merlin's beard! What was that!" Clearly she had not ever heard a deer before. She had occasionally seen them but never heard them make any noise except a rustle of the leave as they pranced away from her approaching figure. She registered what the headmistress said and responded saying, "Gotcha. Avoid said area or risk falling into the murky unknown." She made a mental note of the spot the Headmistress referred to.

"Well you managed to stay in your form even when that was probably one of the most ridiculous squeaking noises you've ever heard. Well done." She said, smiling and nodding still feeling like laughing. Her face of shock was just prime.
Lillian transformed back and so did Fionna and they walked around for about ten more minutes. Then she went back into being a human and said;
"Alright, this is the room Lucas transforms in, it's the largest one."
She pointed into the 'bedroom' of the shrieking shack where and old shredded bed was and a mirror that looked extremely cracked.
"Don't worry." She said quietly. "I think it was the werewolf before him who ripped these things up and made the furnishings so...demolished. He'd transformed without the wolfsbane. But, like Lucas, he had people close to him, who became animagi for him." Lillian smiled down at Fionna.

She guessed she could thank her father for the diverse mind she had. He could always keep is head focused on many things at once much like herself. She silently thanked him in her head like she always did when she made reference to her father. Sometimes alone she would speak it out loud but not in front of the headmistress.
Fionna transformed back following the headmistress around a bit. The place was becoming more familiar and less threatening and mysterious. She had always been skeptical of the tales people told about this place and could almost laugh at herself for believing them in part.
She transformed back with the headmistress. Eyes were wide with worry upon seeing the room, but she calmed down as the headmistress said it was the previous werewolf that had done it. That must have been terrible without wolfsbane but at least he had had company in those dark hours. "That must have been terrible without wolfsbane." She said. She couldn't help but wonder who the previous inhabitant of the shack was and who his mysterious friends were and she spoke her curiosity before she could stop herself. "Who were they?" She asked while looking about the room.

"Yes." She said gravely. "Without wolfsbane, a werewolf will attack themselves to feed their bloodlust. That's why Lucas needed those healing spells in the first place...Hogwarts was where he first got the wolfsbane."
Lillian though she could trust Fionna with the secret that was passed down to her.
"Remus Lupin was the werewolf. See, Harry Potter knew the story, as did Dummbledore and a few others. I only know it because of my position. I believed in the ghost stories myself when I came here." She smiled. It seemed so foolish that she believed them now. After all, Remus Lupin was...what, 38 when he passed away? So he died a bit older than she is now, he was only a few years above her in school. She remembered the rumors flying around and like everyone else, accepted them. After all, the battle was a few years ago, and there's a 7 year gap in ages. She could still remember James Potter flying around in Quidditch, Lily Evans and him were dating...Lily had actually helped her out when she was young, finding her way around sometimes. All those legendary Gryffindors did. She stopped a tear from coming to her eye, but it was a close thing. She never would've imagined they'd die..you never imagine anyone would die until it actually happens.
"Anyways, I think that's probably enough practicing in the shack for now. Ready to go back?"

Were his parents really so cruel as to not give him the potion? Hopefully that would change now that he was getting it at school. When he returned home during full moons she hoped they would give him it. If not she might be pushed to extreme anger and possibly assault or burst at them. She didn't want that.
Fionna was shocked to hear about that. She hadn't read or heard it anywhere before that Lupin had been a werewolf. He was quite well known and she guessed if she read up on him it might be revealed that he was a werewolf but he never really had a need to. She assumed his friends had been his animagus friends. Probably Potter and Sirius if she remembered the names right and there was another boy she recalled from her reading but couldn't remember a name.
Fionna turned to the headmistress and nodded saying, "Of course. Ready when you are." She turned waiting for the headmistress to lead the way.

Lucas walked with Fionna to the shrieking shack. He found it kinda funny how people believed the stories so easily. When they got there, there were already some students hanging around. They stayed at the distance they did, not wanting to look to eager to approach it and go inside, even though they knew it wasn't haunted. Then he heard one of the younger kids whisper to her friends;
"I heard the ghosts are angry again. There was howling there for a little while a few weeks ago, I swear it!"
Some of the kids shuddered and shivered in the cold.
"Let's go back, I don't wanna hang around a haunted shack." One of the others said.
Lucas would've normally flushed and been a bit embarrassed. Hey, it was painful to transform. Even with Wolfsbane, changing into a wolf certainly wasn't normal. True, he wasn't biting himself bloody anymore, so that must be why they said howling for 'a little while'. But he didn't want to ruin his first experience here. He leaned over to Fionna and just said, "OooOoooo" In her ear like he was a ghost, making a joke of it. She still loved him even if he was a werewolf, so what was the point in hating himself for it. Around her, at least. He smiled and bit off another piece of chocolate. Speaking of her loving him, that crystal never seemed to change from it's pink.
"You know, maybe that necklace isn't working. I've never seen it change from pink except I think twice. Must be defective." He said shrugging, smile still in place. He kissed her on her cold cheek.

She had believed the tales slightly up until this year, but even before then she held doubt in the tales. She stayed farther back with Lucas and looked at it. SHe watched the younger kids discuss the place and then rush off thinking how that had once been her.
She laughed and smiled at Lucas and shoved him playfully at his little joke. "Oh no! I'm scared!" She said playing along with a grin on her face that completely contradicted her words. She blushed at the mention of the necklace and said, "It's only when I'm away from you that it changes color." SHe whispered to him and kissed him back. "My love for you is overpowering!" She exclaimed before shivering and saying, "Let's go to the three broomsticks and get a butterbber. I'm freezing!" She then took his hand and began walking.

  Zoe Dylan..........................Third year
Zoe broke in to a run to keep up with Bobby while she merrily munched the wand. They arrived at the fenced land where shrieking shack stood like a scary house from a ghost story. The abandoned house did not look welcoming at all. The rumors about the screams coming from inside it and the so called haunted nature with the well fitting appearance of it would have scared anyone off. But Zoe was so curious and the curiosity would always get the best of her.She put on her hat and the jacket as snow started to fall. They watched the shack leaning over the fence for a while. Actually Zoe was leaning. Bobby was just standing there gazing at the shack. Fence was only a knee-high, weak bunch of twigs to him. Zoe gave him a glance. Shall we, errmm.. get a closer look? She asked hopefully.
