Rae heard Artie breathing, and decided that he was like that character . . . Darth Vader! She ignored it, though, still playing with the lamp.

Abilities: thunder/lightning manipulation, R.E.M.R.-'no! no! don't press the red button!' Rae and Artie probably didn't realize it, but the room they were in was the office-like room of the owner of the arcade. Another thing they probably didn't know was that it was student-run, and Xander just so happened to be a student, which meant that they were in his office(since he 'ran' the Arcade).
"And~ this--" He (lightly)kicked the door to his office open, the long metallic shape of his R.E.M.R. resting on/across his shoulder. "--is why people shouldn't run around in arcades." His other hand was on his hip. "They can get lost, ya know~."'...I wanted t'press it~'

Rae looked up, smiling. "Hey! Did you know that this is a lamp? And when you press the button, a light comes on or goes off?"

He blinked a few times, reminding himself - as an after-thought - that Rae didn't live amongst humans like he did. "...yes I did." He grinned broadly, before turning his attention to the more-of-a-brunette-than-he-was boy.

Xander brought the hand placed on his hip up to his chin, to cup it in thought; his R.E.M.R. was still resting against/on his shoulder. "I..." He blinked. "...don't know if I can give you a good explanation, Rae." He glanced over in her direction. "Okay; have you at least heard of a library?"
When the (darker)brunette spoke up, Xander's attention was brought to him. "What seems t'be goin' on here, then?" He moved his hand up from his chin, to give the boy a two-fingered salute in greeting. "I'm Xander, by th'way."'...I wanted t'press it~'
