✄ --------------------- Seating herself in one of the chairs as Imhotep made the arrangements, she took the glass offered and clinked to the toast. Nabire was glad to be working with someone from the old days again, especially one who had proven himself capable on multiple occasions. She raised the glass to her lips, taking a drink before lowering it. She held the stem in her hand, swishing it a moment before setting it on the table. Best not to rush into the drink, not when they were having such a nice chat. "I shifted and made for South America. I'm lucky most people have never seen a jackal." she had instead been mistaken for a werewolf, meaning the silver bullets were no better than regular ones; she was swift, and managed not to be hit. "It was where my team was meant to meet if something went wrong. Only one showed up." she sipped her wine, mind drifting back to old times. It had been a hectic time, but it seemed they had turned out fine.

Imhotep was interested in her shoulder. Not because he was going to tell Len, but because he really was interested. "I lost half of my team and I know that the current Vice Principal here killed another Lord, so please be careful." he warned her. If she was capture she would get the same dog collar as he had. "I escaped and as able to continue to teach here." He told her the rest of his story. It wasn't glamorous, it probably made him look like snake, but it was the truth.

✄ --------------------- Mildly surprised to learn that her new 'boss' had killed a Vampire Lord, she raised both brows in a show of surprise. Well, that was one way to prove power. "I left my last man in Africa. He didn't want to risk showing his face here." she had understood, and she hardly expected him to teach as well. Taking a moment to glance about his quarters, she considered his last statement comparing it to what she had seen of the campus so far. "It doesn't seem so bad. The place is rather cushy, if you ask me." she didn't see the merit in teaching kids while surrounding them in luxury and safety when they should be taught how to survive. Nabire had no plans to get caught, and considering she wasn't there officially, she would be fine for the time being.

Best I could do. Imhotep smiled at the woman. Only someone strong would be willing to risk themselves and get out of the underground and into the world of light. Not that he went out without a cap during the day. "So tell me. Do you have a place to stay yet?" He asked. The vampire was willing to find her a room in the dungeon if she wanted one. He was the only one who had any power down here. "I could set you up with a room around here if you wish. It'll include everything that you want." He told the woman.

✄ --------------------- Continuing to sip her wine slowly, the bardi paused at his question. "I have yet to make arrangements. I suppose it slipped my mind." she had spent most of her nights as a jackal in the wilderness, but it was high time that changed. Naribe considered his proposal, rather liking the dark privacy of the dungeons. "That sounds quite lovely. Though I do wonder how your dear students would react to a nonvampire constantly among them." they seemed loyal to Imhotep for the most part, so she wasn't exactly worried about it. That, and she was quite capable of handing the young ones that lived down there on her own. Besides, living in the dungeons would get her father away from the other teachers and, more importantly, Len Richardson.
{Brilliant.}

Imhotep smiled as he took another sip. She could understand why she would be worried. She didn't know who was trustworthy and who wasn't. "Well my dear, I promise you that most of the minions around here are going to love you. The rest may not." He told the woman to calm her nerves. Most of the vampires were on their side. "I'll have the arrangements done as soon as we're done with our drink." He added with a smile.

✄ --------------------- Accepting his answer with a small nod, the woman wasn't that surprised to find that he had so much control over his students. She smiled viciously about those who may not love her, as if rising to the challenge. She would make these people love her whether they wanted to or not, and her intentions were quite clear on her face. The woman would leave the arrangements to him, trusting that he would see to everything that needed to be done for her. "You seem quite settled here." she observed, referencing to the way he seemed to rule the dungeon so easily. That, and his room was immaculately decorated and didn't seem like the sort of thing that he would leave behind.

Imhotep took another drink from his glass. He had to think over his answer carefully. He couldn't give away what he was really doing now. He leaned back like he was relaxed. "Yes. It is nice here, but that is why we must keep our other lives a secret until the time that we can make a safe escape." He told the woman. It was a warning to not do anything stupid while she was here. "We wait. Like sleeper terrorist."

✄ --------------------- Nabire smiled again, this time with less teeth, at his answer. He was different compared to his old self, though she supposed that was only to be expected; it had been a while since she had conversed with him. Her training demand she remain suspicious, but she wasn't the sort of novice that would let anything show. No, she was also here because of an event that had transpired recently; she hadn't been dispatched, but then she was high enough in the ranks to give her own orders. The term 'sleeper terrorist' drew a light laugh, as she supposed they could definitely be seen as such. After all, they had been brutally vilified after losing the war. "I suppose we are something like a sleeper cell. Though I hardly classify myself as a terrorist." No, there were much better ways to manipulate people than through terror.

Imhotep let out a chuckle. She was right they didn't see themselves as a terrorist group. It was something that they were labeled as. Even Reed himself wasn't the person. The man smiled and set down his drink. "Ah. Good old days." He commented. "You know that I started to teach here under Reed himself. It was during the final years of his life. He had tried for ten years to get me here." He told the woman then took drink up again and took a drink. "What an old fool."

✄ --------------------- Nodding as the old days were brought up, she smirked faintly. She took another sip of her wine, thoroughly enjoying it; Imhotep had impeccable taste, that much was for sure. She laughed again, this time at the expense of Reed. He certainly was an old fool, bringing a lion into a den full of sheep. "The world is full of fools. The more numerous side is bound to have more." she was referring to the side of the Order, which led most of the magical world blindly. She was too old to be bossed around by a bunch of little humans, and she wondered why so many of their kind allowed it to continue. "It'll be nice to live somewhere with an actual bed. And running water." she had spent too much time sleeping in forests and clearings, and was looking forward to an actual bed.

The man chuckled as he took another sip. He was chuckling at her comment about a bed and running water. "Is that all you want?" He questioned her with a grin. "I was thinking of adding in satin linen, plenty of candles, drawers, a desk, walk in closet, and you're own bathroom." The man responded. He was teasing her about not asking for more. "But if that is all you want I can arrange that." He looked like he was changing his mind a bit about that kind of stuff.

✄ --------------------- Cocking a brow at his response, the woman sighed and shook her head lightly. You always were such a tease." she didn't quite appreciate his rubbing such nice things in her face, though she knew he was joking. "If you half a** my quarters, I'll just sleep in yours." she threatened, her expression lightly serious as she took another sip of wine. It wasn't a threat of violence, though she was hardly above sleeping in his coffin; it wasn't as if she was going to sleep with him, though as a succubus she wasn't the sort to care anyway. "I've never slept in a coffin before, but it looks fairly cozy."

Imhotep flipped her off playfully. There was no way he was going to let someone woman touch his beautiful gold coffin. That had been his for the last three thousand years. The only other person who could sleep in it was Basima and no one knew of her. He would talk about her anyways. "I'm sorry, but that coffin is for me alone." He told the woman. "I promise you that you'll have your quarters even if I have to kick someone out."

✄ --------------------- Flashing a toothy grin as she was flipped the bird, she didn't seem at all bothered by such. They were playing around, and so she wouldn't take it personally. "I trust that you will." she answered, eyeing the coffin a moment before turning her attention back to her old friend. It was a bit too extravagant, even for her, and so she wasn't at all disappointed at being shot down. "I knew I could count on you." she raised her wine glass for another drink, finding it to be a better option than attempting to contort his expression uncomfortably.
