That you can kill meCyrus chuckled softly. He could see right through Lucy's smiling face. He had spent years with performers like her who masked their fear with happiness. However, he simply gave a small wave, grinning under his mask as he heard Patience's irritated voice ring through the muddy yard. Today, he'd leave the scolding to her. Tonight, he would have his fun. After the performance.
Cyrus raised an eyebrow as his violet irises caught sight of fire around Patience's feet. He turned, his eyes narrowing at the newest addition to his circus. The mud soon turned back into regular dirt, hardening as quickly as the fire had come and gone.
Cyrus smiled. Interesting. I'm not a pawn

wake me up when September ends' Maka watched silently, not saying anything. When they weren't being guarded, she wasn't the warden, at least, she didn't act like one. But Cyrus was watching, she could feel, and had a bad habit of slipping up. ZShe seemed to have forgotten when she saw Patience in her usual demeanor, and couldn't help but smile. She flew over to them and smirked a bit. "Patience, always a pleasure.." She said, legs sprouting out a bit as she stood but still intangeable as she was paranoid she'd get hurt.'like my father's come to pass

Oh, you wish for mercy?
Well, sorry to disappoint you.. Looking down at the ground as the fire began to dry off the mud in front of her, Patience looked over at the new girl. Or really, glared at the new girl. Great, someone else that she would have to yell at. Sure she enjoyed it, but the more she had to yell the more she would get annoyed. Constantly being annoyed was actually getting very.. Well.. Annoying. "Don't ever do that again." She snarled at the girl. "I don't care about friendships, I don't care about what you can do, when I tell someone to go and do something I expect THEM to do it. Not YOU or anyone else." As she spoke, she didn't even bother to move from her doorstep. "Lucy, come walk on this before I step down on it." If the mud was still to hot, than Lucy would be the one to get burned. This would show the new girl to leave everyone's problems to be their own, and if they were cooled off, than at least she could get Lucy to do something for her, even if she knew the girl wouldn't be quiet during the entire thing. But when you're sent to me,
There's no such thing as mercy.

 dlani didn't say anything as patience spoke, and didn't move even though she could tell cyrus was still staring at her. the interesting thing is, since she could control elements and matter, it was like she could control their conditions too...like, temperature say. if lucy really did walk over them, she would just feel warmth like a nice sun-lit floor. however, if the bossy rabbit stepped on them...she might just need to literally cool her heels of for a while. since she had obviously attracted a friendly person like lucy, dlani felt like she had to stand up for the 'coon girl, cuz it seemed no one else would, and besides, cyrus was definitely a creeper. she heard a dark chuckle in her mind as her gaze grew scarily harsh and cold, hard and uncaring as she stared at the mud off to the side, a small corner smile making an eerie look on her face she quickly subdued and hid, not wanting to alarm lucy more than she might already have

wake me up when September ends' Maka blinked a little bit before shrugging the slightest bit. "Good to know, though I don't know what I did." She said, tilting her head a bit. She knew fighting with her might mean trouble from her boss, especially if he was watching. She looked from her to Lucy, curious what she was going to do. Blue eyes shifted from her to the rabbit-hybrid. She couldn't help but smile a bit, but look away. She could stir something up when she really got to know her anyway. "I'm more of a learning by doing person anyway." She chuckled under her breath.'like my father's come to pass

Well, sorry to disappoint you.. Going silent, Patience looked over at Maka she hadn't even noticed the ghost girl in all the rage towards Lucy and the new girl. Sighing, fully annoyed she took a moment to take in what Maka had just said. "What in the world are you talking about?" She snarled. "I hadn't even realized you were standing there." Looking away from Maka for a moment she looked over at Lucy and then Dlani. "Don't you dare think about causing problems for me young idiot. I do not appreciate tricksters, in fact I hate them with my entire being." Moving her eyes back onto Lucy's she sighed. "Forget it. You're to big of an air head to be able to do it anyway." Turning on her heels, she directly faced Maka. "Not to be rude, but what do you want?" But when you're sent to me,

Standing completely still for the entire thing, it was obvious that Lucy was at a loss at the moment. She had no clue what was going on between Patience and her best friend. It wasn't until Patience gave her last comment towards her that she smiled and nodded. "Okie dokie, boss lady!" Saluting her, she took hold of Dlani's hand and began to skip around happily. "Ring around the mulberry bush, the monkey chased the weasel. The monkey thought it was all in fun.. POP GOES THE WEASEL!" At the pop, Lucy had stopped and jumped into the air. Smiling, she turned to Dlani and giggled. "Do you want to play Red Light Green Light with me?" Before she could let Dlani say anything else, she took hold of her best friends other hand and looked up at her with caring and hopeful 'puppy eyes'. "Please, please, please, please, please!!! It's such a fun game! But no one ever wants to play it with me. I used to play it all the time when I was little with my siblings! We all had so much fun! Pretty please play with me!"

'S my job really." A faint smile played across her lips as she looked at the group. Most were elites, and she'd known about them from the shows, but never really known them. Well, sorry to disappoint you.. "Hm. Well snooping into me will get you nowhere. I share my past and thoughts with no one." A slight sadness held in her eyes for only a second before covering back up with her normal anger. "If you want to get to know someone go talk to that new girl." Might as well get someone to snoop for her, she wanted to know as much as she could about this new girl. The more she knew the better she could torture the girl. "She looks like someone you might want to keep an eye on." With one last look at the new girl, she sneered and sighed before quickly turning back around and going back into her trailer. There was no need for her right now. Lucy was back off of her rocker begging to play a game, and she was not in the mood to listen to that awful sound of laughing that always came from Lucy. Right now, she just needed to get away from the group again, before she got off her own rocker. But when you're sent to me,

She said quietly, seeing that she was done. "Hm." She said, folding her legs in midair and floating. She looked up at the sky and wondered if it would rain again soon, she hoped it would. (warning dlani, and acting like a near-prissy tattle tale about dlani to maka? XD)
dlani didn't react but her darkly thoughtful expression was broken as she looked inquiringly at lucy "red light...green...light?" she asked curiously and frowned slightly before shrugging "i don't know that game...i don't think ive ever played it before..." the whole area seemed to brighten a little as she smiled "but i don't mind learning...!" she hastened to assure lucy, sweating "ive never really had any friends to do anything like games with..." she admitted, sounding shy
(hey, just realized...! biggrin i gots one hundredth post!! XD lol...i know, i know...not really a big deal d: but still...)

"Well you do now~" She sang happily, jumping with joy at the fact that she had a friend to play one of her favorite childhood games with. "Okay, okay." Quickly, she began to explain the directions. Going at such a high pace that it seemed like she had just ate fifty pixie sticks. "Got it?!" Eyes shining with joy, she looked at Dlani hoping she had understood the directions. "You go first!" Maybe someone else.. Looking back a huge smile appeared on her face. "MAKA!! PLAY WITH US!!" It would be even more fun with another person, they could still play with just two people, but still. Giggling, she turned Dlani around and put her hands on the upper part of Dlani's back. Pushing her towards the tree, she giggled. "You'll do the green and red light saying right here. Remember, to turn around when you say Red light!" She wasn't exactly sure if that's how everyone else played, but it's how her family did. "Wait until I say okay~" Quickly she ran all the way back to a tree a good length away, but not to far away. "KAY~" {Ah ^^; Sorry bout that. I didn't mean to confuse you. xD; .. And yay! 100th post! 8D }

(lol....will check this tomorrow, okay? ;p hope you can get back on soon....school type/level?) dlani's face was serious as she listened to lucy rattle off the instructions at about 100 MPH, nodding every now and then. oddly enough, she understood perfectly "gotcha..." dlani said, suddenly grinning; was hard not to, at lucy's excitement and obvious loneliness. dlani quickly ran to the tree and patiently waited until lucy called out her readiness. "green light....RED LIGHT!!" dlani yelled almost immediately as she spun around with an oddly graceful and uncomfortable-looking twist at the waist, knowing that with lucy's quickness on her feet dlani would have to try to be fast to make this interesting. she smiled over at lucy "try not to be too fast, or this won't last more than five minutes...IF that!" she told lucy cheerfully "and im sure you would 'win' more often since im not as fast as you surely are..." she said, sounding perfectly okay with that fact, shrugging it aside since it was truth....well, since she didn't know what she was, she assumed it was truth. since except to run away she didn't seem to be any different than most humans....well, she could lift some things people didn't seem to be able to, and was immune to just about everything.....these dark thoughts crossed her mind before dlani shook her head and grinned to chase them away still, would be nice to know, for sure.....oh well. sigh... she thought

Lucy had only gotten a couple of steps in before her ears twitched at the sound of the R rolling off of Dlani's tongue. Suddenly stopping in mid step, she held a smirk as her new best friend turned around. "You can try and trip me up though! That's always fun! I enjoy seeing the different ways people try to make me fall, move, so on and so forth." Heart racing with excitement she couldn't wait until Dlani would turn back around and say green light. It wasn't just fun and bringing her a sense of childhood joy, but it also brought memories back. Memories she had found herself slowly forgetting as each day had passed by. Her mind couldn't help but wonder what her siblings were doing right now. Holding a smile, her mind ran over all of their faces trying her best to picture them. But for some reason they were all blurry, like she was looking through glasses that weren't fit to her eyes.

dlani heard something in lucy's tone that made her feel bad, but she didn't show that she heard it, just nodding her head. spinning around in a blur, she stopped almost immediately after she had begun "greenlightredlight!!" she shouted happily, her eyes and face calm though her thoughts were elsewhere as well as on the game
