Okay, Jack-o-Lantern houses just had to be haunted, and they give out crumby gifts. Vance decided to try a normal looking house. No parties and no creepy pumpkins.
A grumpy old man answered the door. He was dressed strangely, with puffy and shiny pants. Vance didn't like his chances. "Uh.. Trick or Treat!" He said with as much excitement as he could muster. The man shuffled off and came back with a candied apple, luckily wrapped in something, lest it get stuck to the inside of his pillow case. "Thanks!" He said with a smile, running off to another house.

The next house Vance saw was amazing. It was a Halloween wonderland, with store bought decorations littering the yard and home. Vance ran up to the door, where he didn't even have to knock.
An excited and friendly Darth Vader greeted Vance, offering him skeleton gummies right away. "Wonderful costume!" He said to the boy. Vance thanked him with a wide and grin, and skipped off to the next house.

Vance decided to try a different street to Trick or Treat on. He went up to a house on Elm Street. Kind of creepy, but the brave boy ventured past all of it's disturbing decorations and knocked on the door. A man wearing a Christmas sweater answered the door. "Trick or Treat!" Vance said, holding out his pillow case. The man smiled and stepped aside. "Won't you come in?" Vance knew better, and politely declined... over and over again.
"Very well..." The man dropped a black candle into the boy's bag and closed the door. Vance walked away from the house, feeling unsettled.

Vance found a normal looking house, covered with lawn flamingos. It seemed friendly! The man who answered the door tore that theory apart. he was grouchy and dressed like a gnome. Maybe he really was a gnome?
"Trick or Treat!" Vance said with enthusiasm. Despite the weird occurrences, he was enjoying all the excitement. The grouchy man handed Vance the jack o lantern he had on the porch. "No more candy. Go away, brat." The door was slammed in the confused boy's face.
Vance looked down at the very scary looking face of the pumpkin with a frown. This would be hard to carry around all night...

This had to be some joke.Wasn't this the same Jack-O-Lantern infested house he went to once already? Vance approached the homestead warily, ringing the bell and waiting.
And waiting...
Many knocks and rings later, Vance's persistence paid off, when a very familiar blue haired girl opened the door, looking rather paranoid. She began rambling about aliens, which at this point Vance had no trouble believing her. How else did the house and occupant end up on another side of town?
After shoving a tinfoil hat in his pillow case, she shut the door. Vance sighed heavily and dragged his feet to another house.

Vance decided to cut through a graveyard, hoping t get to a promising looking area of town quicker. He was soon intercepted by a dead looking fellow. Vance laughed and pointed. "Nice zombie costume!" He said happily. The zombie tilted it's head in confusion, it's neck starting to separate until it straighted up again.
"Mruuuuuuuh..." The zombie moaned. Vance thought this was all an act, and just giggled some more. The zombie pulled something from what looked to be a coffin filled with strange things. It handed Vance an invisible-dog collar, then sat back down on a grave stone. Vance slid the object into his pillow case then waved while making his way out of the grave yard. "What a weird kid.."

Bug took a turn down another street, away from the strange dressed man and up to a shack that looked ready to come to pieces. Instead of knocking, to which she assume it was to fragile to take her blows she just said her words.
"Why hello little one, how would you like to shake my hand?" Bug cocked her eyebrow,"Okay.." she said suspiciously but gripped his hand anyway. The man took his arm away but Bug was still holding his hand. she squawked out a scream and dropped his hand. She looked up at the man ready to apologize, bu he was...laughing? The man was nice enough to show her his real hand and Bug let out a sigh of relief, it was just a trick. Bug giggled and thanked the man, after all she did ask for a trick or a treat.

Vance skipped through the lawn of a home, decorated entirely in plastic Jack-O-Lanterns. Upon knocking on the door, a grumpy man dressed as Rainbow Brite answered. Vance found this a little disturbing, but smiled regardless. "Trick or treat!" Please let it be treat.. he thought.
The grumpy looking man grabbed a handful of rocket candies and stashed them in Vance's pillow case. The boy beamed and thanked the man jubilantly, then skipped off to the next house.

73. A Cemetery, the Occupant is a creepy little girl with a big bunny plush and glowing red eyes. 94. They invite you for afternoon tea. Though it's night time.
All of Amelia's sisters had previous plans for Halloween and sadly none of them included her or if they did she hadn't realized it. In any case she was sprawled out as a unicorn on the living room floor when Vlad came down stairs.
"You didn't think you'd get left out did you?" Vlad asked. His wife was staying home to hand out candy in case any trick or treaters came along thus leaving him to take Amelia out trick or treating.
Amelia's ears flickered, and if she was sad because she was left at home it was hard to tell.
"Come on," he said as he motioned towards the door."
----
Why her dad had turned down that last street and how they had ended up in a cemetery was beyond her. She wasn't liking it one bit. Why couldn't there have been lights on, on one of the more pleasant houses... She whickered as she stumbled on an old tree root.
If Vlad had been a person to apologize he would have. He knew that this probably wasn't Amelia's idea of a good time, at least not yet. He was going this way because it as a short cut to another neighborhood. He managed to catch Amelia just in time to keep her from falling and messing up her coat.
Amelia with wide eyes took a couple steps away from her dad. She didn't like the look of the little girl with red eyes. It was a bit to creepy for her.
"Hello," the girl said as she gave her big bunny a squeeze. "Have tea with me?"
"Um, no thank you," Vlad said as he scooped up his little girl and carried her away from the red eyed girl.
Amelia sighed relief.

56. Normal Looking House, decorated to look like a Futuristic house. Occupant is overly giggly, probably drunk, and dressed like a Katamari. Has pizza stuck to costume for an authentic look. 13. Box of Condoms.
Amelia was thankful to be out of the cemetery and heading down the street to another house. The house, despite looking like nothing from this century or any that had passed, was rather normal... and the light was on! Despite the bad first encounter she decided to give it another go. She trotted her little self up the walk way with her dad behind her.
Vlad smiled as he rang the door bell. He took a step back. This was, after all, about her and it was her evening.
"Rick or Reat!" Amelia said with a mouth full of bag handle once the door opened. The little bag shook as she whickered. She wasn't sure what to make of this guy who had things stuck to him and who could hardly walk.
"Here ye go lil one," the man said with a hiccup as he reached into the nearest bowl and grabbed a random object. He laughed as he dropped the object into the bag. "Have you a good one," he continued to laugh as he closed the door.
Amelia who didn't know it was condoms (not that she knew what those were) and not candy (not that she liked candy) was rather proud of herself for getting something. She happily trotted down the walk way with her dad in toe.

((::stares at the rolls she got:: Oh my god. XD))
Evari sighed, petting Tyyne's hair. "I promise not all houses are like that. But for every few good houses there's gotta be that one nut, huh? Don't worry." She smiled assuringly down at her sister and Tyyne smiled back, nodding and carefully putting the chocolate bar bouquet in her bag. The two picked a very normal looking house this time to get back to the normal people. However, when this door opened the girls's eyes both widened and their jaws dropped. Wh...what the...?!
"Well hello~." The man grinned and slowly tilted his head to the side, peering down at the girls through the mask he was wearing. A very lifelike mask. A very strange mask. "I'm afraid I don't have any candy..." He told them, looking around before an idea seemed to strike him. "How about you two stay for dinner instead? I'd love to have you...over...for dinner." He added as an afterthought when he realized his words could be taken in a dangerous way. If they caught on they wouldn't come in! He looked from one girl to the other, his eyes wide with excitement.
"Nothankyouwe'llbeleavingnowgoodbye." And Tyyne fled, Evari hot on her trail. The man sighed and closed his door, muttering something about warming up leftovers.

96. A pumpkin patch, pumpkins are all you need mofo, occupant is a small boy waiting for a demon... 69. Tickets to a Strip Club.
Amelia decided she'd pick the next place. She noticed a big patch of orange and was intrigued by it... thus that is where she decided to go. After all, how much scarier could this place be than a cemetery.
Vlad who realized it was a pumpkin patch slowed down. There wouldn't be a door bell to ring... this mean that he didn't need to hurry up so he could be right behind her.
"What are you doing?" Amelia asked the boy standing near a pumpkin.
"Waiting for a demon," the boy replied. "Here, take these," he said as he dropped the tickets into her bag. "Now get..."
Amelia blinked. She was only trying to be friendly and strike up conversation. She whickered as she trotted away from the pumpkin patch.

It had been a nice looking house with pretty jack o lanterns and Carina had seen a lady dressed like a witch handing out candy when she'd been further down the street. When she'd gotten to the house, Orion just a few steps behind her, and knocked upon the door the Curio had not expected to be greeted by a crazy looking man wielding a roaring chainsaw.
The machine spewed smoke and loud noise as it's metal teeth revolved around the long blade that sat on.
Sacrificing her pride and not staying to verify if it was real or not Carina scream and began to drag Orion away from this house as well. She ran full pent down the street cursing her father who'd insisted she keep trick or treating becuase it was an important experience.

((WHOO! I GOT 1K! 8D))
They didn't even dare come near the next house. Tyyne heard the screams long before Evari did, and quickly dragged Evari in the other direction. On their way down the walkway again Evari stumbled and nearly tripped on something wet...and squishy...and weird. Wh-what was that? Was...oh god...was that an organ?! A gold coin popped out when Evari stepped on it and she blinked, leaning down to pick at the thing until she found one thousand gold coins. Wow! Awesome! The coins were put in her bag and she then led Tyyne to the next house.
