Pessaro shuffled his feathers. I do not!...Okay, maybe. He said. But what I said is true. She cares Gregory, more than you know. Peaasro seemed to wink at Greg and took off. He sailed through the air and infront of the sun, casting a phoenix shaped shadow over Yume and Greg. He circled them for a moment then landed again. He seemed to sigh. I needed to stretch my wings.

Yume stood back up before answering. "I've mostly fought in small territory disputes, but I've been to some larger battles. The most recent one would be the battle at the Dunes of Alexandria." she told him. "Why do you wanna know?"

Greg studied Yume carefully.....she's already been exposed to such a large battle. How much of her life has been ruined by this war already?.....He shook his head and put on a fake smile. "no reason, just curious." he replied

Pessarro glanced upwards. Very much I'm afraid.... Pessaro commented. He twitched and took a step back. Oh you were not speaking to me. He shuffled his feathers in a failed attempt to cover up his face in embarrassment.

Yume was a little confused, but decided not to pursue the matter. "Well, okay then." she said absentmindedly tucking some hair behind her ear. "Shall we head back to the base then? The sun's going to set soon."

Greg nodded and smiled. "Yes, I suppose so." he said offering his hand out to her. "Shall we walk or do you just want to teleport?" he asked.

"I'm okay with just walking." Yume replied. "The scenery is pretty at this time of day. Besides, I guessing you're probably pretty tired yourself." she finished with a small smile.

Pessaro stretched his wings out to reveal an 8 foot wingspan. Alright Gregory. Where are we going? He asked ready to take off.

Greg pondered on the question for a moment before choosing the best place to relax. "The lounge?" he asked in a suggesting manner. He had used to lounge few times since he's been at the base, but it was still a nice place.

Beetcha there!! Pessaro seemed to yell. He instantly combusted into flames and left small burn marks where he was previously perched.
