Somewhere beyond the sea Somewhere waiting for me
Wow. I thought they made music through komputars. (she said it like that instead of computers) She saw a piece of a surfboard that was probably bitten by a a shark that was still trying to float up. She got it and forced it down with Melody. I know what this is. It's a surfboard and humans use it to glide across the water. I used to own a few of them but then I got into a little accident and am now traumatized to the point that I can't try again. Which was sad considering I lived in surfer's paradise golden beach, Austrailia. Have you ever tried to surf?

Takeru was closer to the surface; he had just raised his head out of the water and looked at the shore. So as 'Elizabeth signaled that she wanted to talk, he kick his feet back and forth, raising up to his shoulders to the surface. "You wanted to talk about something?" Takeru asked with a smile, shortly after 'Elizabeth' partially emerged out of the water.

Cherry ran on the shores of the beach "No..Please stay away!" she screamed as she fell to the ground. She looked like she was fighting something off but what? There was nothing there. She couldnt have been fighting something. But she was because she was being scratched badly and bleeding so bad she was weak.

Michael shivered at the sight of the shark bite in the surfboard. Images of his close encounters with the great white guards outside of the city flashed vividly in his mind. Michael had never really been introduced to the world of surfing, since in his past life his home town was landlocked for miles around. I've never actually been surfing before, thought I've always wanted to try. Then his personality kicked in, curiosity about the traumatizing event Melody had been through, If you don't mind me asking, what made you quit surfing?

Somewhere beyond the sea Somewhere waiting for me
Melody remembered what had happened and looked at him seriously. Well...One day while I was surfing I fell off of the board and broke my leg against a rock that stuck out of the water. After that the board was grabbed by a shark that dragged me under. The shark didn't touch me since it knew that eating a siren would poison it but...Since my human leg was broken it wouldn't allow me to change into a siren and for the first time I experienced what it was like to drown. Being the big scaredy catfish that I am I stayed out of the water for months after getting my cast off and nearly died from being out of the ocean water for too long. I decided that swimming would be alright but surfing was definately out of the question. As she spoke her happy expression fell into a depressed one and she ran her hand along the board that was bitten.

Michael listened intently to what Melody had to say (or rather think). As her story unraveled and her mood progressively changed to depression, Michael's Mythic began to stir as it sensed the changes. He swam next to Melody, taking her hand in his own gently. He felt the Mythic power begin to flow through his own hand and into Melody's in an attempt to revert her mood back to it's happy state. I'm sorry you had to go through that, I could only imagine what it must have been like. You had a right to be scared of the water since the incident, I definitely would too. But all of that is behind you now, no more than history. You have nothing to be afraid of now. Michael smirked before continuing, Besides, it doesn't seem to me that sharks bother you that much anymore. You pass right through a group of those oversized fish just on the way to your own home!

Melody felt herself slowly cheering up. But looked at him with confusion written across her face. She shifted her hand to get a firm hold of his wrist so he wouldn't run away and his hand wouldn't touch her. Her mood started to change again into the horrible sadness and she looked at Michael with curiousity in her eyes. Michael...what exactly are you? All this time you knew I was a siren yet I have no clue what you are. That doesn't seem fair to me. She was changing the subject but this has been bugging her for a while.

Michael felt panic rising in his throat when she turned to him with a perplexed expression on her features. He could tell she was picking up on something, but he couldn't be sure. His fears were confirmed when he felt Melody's hand grasp his wrist, breaking the flow of Mythic and preventing his escape. He doubted that even if he was able to swim away that he would be faster than the siren. His mind raced as he tried to come up with an answer to her question. Very few people ever had picked up on a Guardian Angel's Mythic abilities, and even then most of them paid no attention, seeing as it did them no harm. However, Melody's curiosity had put Michael in a very tough situation, with little options to work with. Well... I'm not really... I can't... His mind stuttered, furiously searching for a way out of the situation.

O-oh I see. Well then I...don't want to bother you about it. Melody took it like he didn't trust her and let her hand fall limp as she released him. Well then I'm going back to shore. Our hour is probably up anyway. She avoided looking at him and swam around him to the mouth of the cave. Melody didn't bother to wait for him and started for the enterance to the city.

Michael felt the sting of her disappointment in his own heart. He felt like a monster, a failure to his own purpose. Here he was, a Guardian Angel, reborn to make his target's life so much better than it was now. And he had done the exact opposite. He couldn't look at her as she swam from the cave, he was too wounded. For a human, the event that had just occured might barely scratch the surface of their heart. But for a Guardian Angel, knowing that you're the cause of the target's grief was indescribable. The feeling tore at his heart, tearing apart all of his rational thoughts to the point where it might drive him insane. Michael was finally able to pull his head up to see Melody swimming gracefully away. The sight of her only intensified the burning hatred for himself. He made up his mind with little afterthought.
Before she could swim away any further, Melody! Don't leave... I'll tell you, I will... Michael swam to face Melody, but he wasn't able to look at her just yet. I'm about to tell you something that you must keep a secret at all costs. No one must know of what I'm about to show you...
Michael spread his arms wide, as if he was being hung on a crucifix, and summoned what little control he had over the Mythic within him. He closed his eyes in concentration as he altered the Mythic to reveal to Melody what she wanted to see. When he opened his eyes, great white wings appeared from his back, which had been hidden by the Mythic inside of him. The grand wings glittered as the sun struck the feathered surface. The wings spread wide, much longer than his own armspan. Melody, I am your Guardian Angel.

Melody stopped and looked in shock as Michael changed his form. G-gaurdian a-angel? She was in shock and slightly taken back. B-but I thought angels didn't exist. Melody blocked the thought from reaching him and looked down. Does that mean that demons exist as well? This time she sent the thought to him and waited as she stared blankly.

Michael's demeanor had taken a dramatic change as well. his posture was more regal, and his eyes were deep with emotion and compassion. Even his thought took a slightly more confident tone, Yes, demons do exist. His expression softened, caring and kind like a father's. But do not be afraid, I was sent here to protect you, and those demons will not harm you. I promise.

Then my brother was right. I was born a demon. Melody saw the look in his eyes and gritted her teeth. Stop that! Don't look at me as if you know everything! Her blood rushed and her eyes turned into a cold stare. If you want to protect me then stay away! I will probably end up killing you too. She was still in slight control and tried to keep herself calm. It wasn't that she was mad at him she just didn't like the memory of her brother's final words.

Michael's insides churned again, he was the cause of her pain by stating the fact that demons existed. He cast his eyes away from her in shame when Melody told him to stop, he did not want to upset the delicate creature any further, but she needed to know the truth. Melody, you were never born a demon. Demons are nothing like you, they cannot love, cannot dream, cannot care. Yet you do all of these things, you love, you dream, you care. Michael immediately sensed her growing discomfort, and he felt compelled to help her, but yet he knew that if he did she may lose control, Melody, I know you are upset, probably upset with me too, but I want to help you. If you want, I can take away the pain you feel now, all you have to do is say the word.
