Nat grinned at the new boy. "I'm Natalie!" She cheered, throwing sand up headlessly into the air. "And you?" She leaned over to poke the boy but overbalanced.

"No... oh s***. Mamoru's gonna be mad..." he murmured, before his eyes shut. He stopped convulsing, and rose back up, slightly bent forward. If they looked at him, they would see that his eyes were not open.

 "Knowledge is power..." he watched the girl mindlessly. he guessed that gan had done to her what had happened to him. as she leaned over to poke him he shoved her away.
"i'm lucas."
he said and then took out his knife. with his knife out he began playing with it by throwing it in the air and catching it.

Nat frowned, her face turning serious. "Lucas...somebody mentioned that name." Nat drew the words out. Finishing, she began to giggle and play with the sand again.

"Knowledge is power..." lucas just watched the new girl lazilly. he lay his knife on his chest and let it glint in the sun.

"Hmm..." Nat hummed for a moment before groaning. "Where have I heard that name before?" She muttered to herself, it sounded so familar, and yet she couldn't quite bring it to mind. She scowled, annoyed with her blasted headache.

"Knowledge is power..." lucas looked at her and noticed she seemed genuine about it. he snorted in what would seem like discust but would actually be more lazyness in not wanting to help.
"work with you? what can you do? silas at least can fight back. and not halfassed either."

Natalie couldn't help but scowl at him. "I'm a Medical Ninja. I'll put you back together in case anyone ever does get a hit."
She stood. "Or I can just try to find someone else, if you'd rather."

"Knowledge is power..." lucas was surprised to see a med nin out here. they didn't leave the hospital much. this surprise would be obvious on his face.
"how does anyone expect me to be able to help out a med nin? i'll bet this was Amaya's doing."
he said then made a big waving motion at everything around him.
"all of this is her damn fault... shoulda known that they would try and prank me. i've been out of contact to long."
he said and then seemed to compleately relax. "...wisdom is truth."

Natalie's scowl lessened. "Fine. Just sit there." She stalked a few feet away before stopping. Focusing in on herself, she began to practice her handsigns again.

it would look like he was simply raising his hand but in truth he was throwing a kunai at the girl.
"hey. you are being rude you know."
he just stared straight up but still could tell where the girl was. the kunai was aimed to simply startle her and not actually hit her.

"And you weren't?" She replied, shutting her eyes to focus on her chakra and it's movement. A 'thump' in the sand next to her open her eyes, glare again and then shut them.
