Devlin chuckled a bit more. "Well, they are kind of quiet like me, but they are more outgoing like there mother a subtle mix. I do know they like to swim a lot. and do keep in shape or at least did, I kept up a good exercise jog with them when they came over to spend a weekend with me." He said. After a moment "They seem to be the best of their parents in two." Devlin said with obvious pun intended though there were differences between them He truly felt touched by Lens attitudes over the subject.

Len chuckled he could related with that. "I can understand. Lillie is as beautiful and graceful as an elf, but smart and has great leadership like me." It was nice there was another father in their group of teachers. Most of them here young and unmarried and unexperienced.

Devlin chuckled agreeing with the feelings he could feel coming from the other man. it certainly was good to speak with someone who he could relate to. "Yea, Emma's a bit of a fashion enthusiast while Ana's a health provider like I was." Devlin said before popping the fake left hand off. and setting it down in his lap letting nub get some relieve from the constant electrical charge that pulsed through it.

Len's eyes perked up noticing his hand. Len was a man of science compared to great men Devlin knew in the past. "Interesting." The man commented about the hand. He kind of wanted to pick it up and poke at it. Learning the ins and outs of it. His curiosity was pretty darn strong.

Devlin just nodded taking it as a compliment "My own design when I was younger, though granted testing it on myself was rather harsh and considering I didn't have an assistant at the time attachment was rather hard." Devlin said grimacing from the memory slightly.

Len nodded in agreement and understanding on how it was like with assistants. "I had the same issues when I first began experimenting with magic. Now of course I'm teaching others how to do the work for me so I don't have to do it."

Devlin nodded "I never worked with assistants except for my younger brother when he'd help me out every now and again, he's a successful lawyer now." He said finishing his tea and looking at Len after a moment grimacing as he reattached his hand now that the nub had cooled down some. and his nerves weren't aching from it

"Family is always the best to use. My wife and daughter are excellent with potions and my brother-in-law cares for animals. Each person has something special about them." He agreed. Family was always best because they knew what a scientist wanted.

Nodding Devlin could whole heartedly agree considering he would not have gotten as far as he had were it not for his family. After a moment he set the empty tea cup on the desk in front of him and stood retrieving his gas-mask and slowly replaced it over his face effectively hiding his facial features. "It was enjoyable conversation but I have to make a phone call and finish settling in." he said before turning to the door waiting to see if Len said anything before he left.

Len nodded. "Of course. If there is anything you need or information you want please come back. I'll probably be able to answer you." He told the man before making the tea set disappear with a wave of his hand. It was a good think he was a wizard so he could do that kind of thing.

Devlin gave a gas mask muffled chuckle before departing ff to an empty apartment in the dorms So as he could at least get a decent enough nights sleep and make that phone call he'd mentioned

 Troa had finished his smoke by the time he got to Mr. Richardson's office, and saw Devlin leaving. Catching the door before it shut, he propped it open with his foot as he knocked on it. "Ello...?" He asked, his voice still monotone. Sighing a little, he stuck his head through the door. "Do you have a minute Mr. Richardson?" He asked, his expression just about as flat and emotionless as his tone. "I was told to talk to you about my rooming situation... and a job..." He added with a sigh.

Len had looked up from his paperwork that he had just started. Most of the students had settled into their lives at school and he wasn't as busy anymore. He waved his hand clearing his best and having a pot of tea with snacks appear. "How may I help you?" He asked the young man who had appeared before him.

Troa stepped into the room, sighing a little. "Hey, I dunno if you know me. I'm Troa Reeve, I graduated last year and because of my... personal situation I was granted permission to remain on campus while I looked for a job. However, I also wasn't allowed to remain in my old dorm because I'm no longer a student. The woman at the front desk told me to speak to you about faculty housing, as well as an on campus job... Though now I don't know what I'm gonna do about looking for jobs..." He sighed to himself, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

Len poured himself some tea. Allowing the student to what he wanted. He listened to the students words and took them in. The Vice Principal thought of a way to solve the problem. "Well lets see. I could ask you to take care of the garden. The job would only be six hours everyday and you would get to pick when you do that. It'll give you a place to stay and a temporary job till you find on in the city. It'll also give you money to buy and apartment." The vice principal offered.
