First of all, I was shocked at the fact that only one person has mentioned Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. In addition to being one of my favorite movies, It is derived from an even funnier book of the same name. After reading/watching it, you actually feel like you've been doing drtugs for days on end. It is a true story, and, if I had the opportunity, I'd nominate it for the Great American Novel. Hunter S. Thompson is a Genius.
So of my other favorite movies are Kill Bill 1&2, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Evil Dead 1&2, Army of Darkness, The big Lebowski, pretty much anything by Stanley Kubrick, Mel Brooks, or Monty Python, Shaun of the Dead, Riding Giants (best surfing movie ever), Napolean Dynamite, Fargo, and many others!

Just saw this movie and it screems hippie guild, its called "Rolling Kansas". Im not going to ruin the whole movie, but there are rabbits, bunnies (baby rabbits), and a giant weed forest, that was all started by a plant named "Eve" by a very old hippie. This movie is so good I give it two thumbs, and two toes up. 3nodding

Amelie heart The Princess Bride The Usual Suspects heart (Kevin Spacey! Mwar!) Labyrinth (C'mon...David Bowie in tight pants and surrounded by m/puppets!) Rocky Horror Picture Show (Corrupted me at the tender age of 10. I blame Tim Curry's blatant sexiness and his ability to look damn fine in a corset.) Reservoir Dogs (Mmm. Mr. Pink...) Jackie Brown (Mmm. Pam Grier...)

Anything by Miyazaki...that man is a genius! - Harold and Maude - The Princess Bride - Kill Bill vols. 1 & 2 - Empire of the Sun - Whale Rider
I also love Waiting for Guffman, Hero, and the Samurai X OAVs, but I dunno if they're among my favourites.
... and I'm sure I left some out... I'll add more as I remember.
