"Where are you taking me?" Noelle giggled and she held on to her sheep, Wander's, fur. The sheep apparently had a giant brain or something and was capable of remembering city layouts and people. It was actually really amazing that any animal, especially a sheep, could do that. Either, she was a really good trainer, or Gino had given her a super sheep. ... It was probably the latter.
Upon immediately arriving the the area, Noelle could already tell where they were. "The gardens? Oh, you know how I love flowers, Wander!" It wasn't really the flowers themselves, it was the smells of them. Noelle could pick out jasmine and rose, to name a few. She really had a sensitive nose.
The blind girl gave a little pet to the sheep's head, and although she couldn't see it, the sheep had a 'damn straight' face going on. Wander bent down to get a flower to eat, but then decided to give it to Noelle. The action was met by a delighted squeal. Noelle put the red flower in the middle of the patch of fur on Wander's head.
Oh, it was so nice to get out of the house. She should do this more often.

Nothing in particular has brought Ai to the gardens, she had just been kind of bored at home and she figured she may as well make the best out of her summer break. She didn't really know where she was going to go first but she saw flowers and was immediately distracted by them. "I love flowers!" Ai exclaimed while wondering about the gardens. Anyone who saw the girl never would have guessed she was twenty, it was a bit odd how young she looked actually but that didn't matter right now. Ai hadn't been in the garden long when she spotted a sheep, "Ooh a sheep!" she noted as she approached it and a girl who seemed to be its owner, "Is this your sheep?" Ai asked the girl excitedly. Before she could get an answer from the girl she had yet another question, "Can I pet him?"

Noelle was a bit startled by the happy voice in the garden, since usually Wander brought her to a place without any people, because he knew that she wasn't good with conversations. She loved people though, just not talking to them. Being blind and not knowing where to put your eyes made conversations ten times more awkward.
"Yeah, this is Wander." Noelle smiled and her sheep baa-ed as if he were introducing himself. She felt the nudge of Wander's head against her leg, telling her everything was fine. He did this periodically when they were walking on a busy street or when meeting new people. Noelle had become very paranoid after certain 'incidents' with the people here.
If Wander deemed this girl safe, then it would probably be okay for her to pet him. Wander could probably tell if she had a knife hidden too, so it would all be okay. "Yeah, sure!" Wander's stance was stiff; apparently he was paranoid of new people too.

"Wander," Ai repeated aloud, "That's a cute name!" she stated. "I have a pig named Waffles," she told the girl. Maybe she could take Waffles for walks around town and to the garden, it seemed like a pretty good idea to Ai and she was sure Waffles would like it too.
Ai had no idea that the girl she had just met was blind and that's most likely why the sheep was accompanying her. After all, it wasn't like she could tell just by looking at her eyes, and even if it would be apparent that way Ai wasn't one for details so she wouldn't have noticed it anyway. In fact, Ai didn't even notice Wander's stiff stance as she began to pet him.

Noelle gasped in excitement. "A pig? Named Waffles? He must be soooo cute. That is absolutely adorable!" Not as adorable as Wander though. She would have to make it clear that she did not mean to offend the sheep with that comment.
Noelle is so used to being blind that sometimes she forgets that other people aren't. She hates being blind, but it's life to her. Just like being able to see is life to everyone else. But not everyone has a super sheep like she does, and that's what reminds her that she's different. "Hi! I'm Noelle. I would shake your hand but I don't know where to put it." She giggled and went back to petting Wander.
"So what brings you to the garden? Wander brought me." She smiled warmly and re-adjusted the flower atop his head.

"Uh-huh!" Ai said in agreement, "He's super cute!" she exclaimed. "My sister has a bird but it's not as cute as Waffles and Wonder are," she announced.
"You don't know where to put it...?" Ai repeated a bit confused. She pondered that thought for a moment before realizing she should probably introduce herself, "Oh, I'm Ai! It's nice to meet you," she finally said.
"Oh, well I was just wondering around town and I noticed it," Ai explained to the girl. She hadn't really paid much attention to what Noelle had said until after giving her own reason. Wonder had brought her, hmm she wondered if there was a connection between her not knowing where to put her hand and having the sheep bring her places, knowing Ai it would take another minute for it to click.

Noelle had her own confusion as the girl's confusion was voiced. "Oh yeah! I should've probably said something earlier, but I'm blind." Sometimes she would have to be reminded that she wasn't normal. She didn't know what she was missing, so how could it keep her down? She laughed quietly. "Sometimes I forget the fact that I don't know how the world looks." She used to be depressed about it when she was younger and after about a year of feeling sorry for herself she figured she couldn't change it so why not be happy?
She nodded to acknowledge Ai, and hopefully it would also bring across the message that it was nice to meet her too. "Yeah, that's why I have Wander. He knows exactly where to take me." She wasn't sure if it was legal to have a seeing eye sheep, but compared to some of the stuff she's heard and experienced about the town, this should be alright.

V-day stuff~ Ignore the paradox~
Todd was happy that everything he had said to the fine lady was taken well with her. She actually seemed quite pleased with his words. It was the least he could do to thank her for gracing him with her presence. "No, thank you, my dear. It is I that is in debt for this great pleasure." He smiled to her then thought about the second part to what she had asked. Hmm, no. He actually hadn't planned any of this out. Stupid move. "I hadn't made any plans. We can do whatever you want." He continued smiling and awaited to know where this little date would take them.
____________________________________________
Crimson just kind of stared at Gemma, blinking a few times. He had no idea what he was going to do. He didn't want to disappoint Gemma, but at the same time he couldn't just leave Judith. He just continued to stare at her. His eyes eventually trailed to Judith as she spoke. He was pretty sure that he was drooling as she talked. The way she said my just kind of felt like she had his balls clutched tightly in her beautiful claws, and he loved it. Nay he craved it. He couldn't even be bothered with the thought that she had called him old. He was far too engulfed in the way she was scowling at Gemma. He had to force himself to look at Gemma again. He took his hand and placed it against her cheek, "I can't help it, love. She's my date and yours is here too, mate. I'll see you later, lassie." He rubbed her hair in a playful manner and then walked back to Judith's side. He smiled down at her, "Where would you like to go for our date, love?" He really didn't have much of a preference.
____________________________________________
Mitsuke smiled at the girl, she really was nice and adorable. "I meant like where did you want to go for our little date?" She placed her finger on her chin and thought for a minute did she know any Chinese? "Oo oo! I know one word! Ni hao~!" She was far too excited about that and her tone really showed it. "I'm sorry that I don't know any more." She frowned, even though the girl had said it was fine, she still kind of felt bad about it. She twiddled her thumbs behind her back and shrugged softly. "I don't care, we can do whatever you want." She smiled again at the girl, hoping she picked something fun. "My brother owns a bakery?" She tilted her head, leaving that open as an option. She had been fired, not kicked out.

Zelynity followed Finnian, a little unnerved by all of this. She stood awkwardly with her hands still behind her back, cradling the flower. She was honestly surprised when the music started playing and just kind of stared at where he disappeared to. She let out a large gasp and clapped at Finnian before placing the flowers in his hand. It was probably bad for people like him, but she loved to encourage people. If he thought he was a superhero, than he was. There was no way she'd tell him otherwise. She smiled brightly at him. "You are much more than just anyone, Sir Finnian! Carry me off to some place where we can have nice food~!" She was so excited about going on a date with a real superhero that she kind of forgot about everything else and leaped up into where his arms could conveniently be if he had fast reflexes. Which every superhero did, right?

Raiden was secretly enjoying every second of the way that Haruka was acting. He had turned back once his smirk was under control and was now carefully examining her face. He took another small hit from his cigarette and blew up into the air. He flicked the remainder away and crossed his arms across his chest. He soaked up everything that she was showing and thought about the perfect way to put this. "Nah, I like my chances right here." He turned towards her with a smile and waited for her wonderful reaction. He was even consumed in Haruka to the extent that he wasn't looking at Zelynity, nor was he noticing her date emerging as a superhero.
((Sorry they're so short, we can either write the dates off or do whatever. I have no preference~! 8D))

Gemma Rhodes [[Same here, on the V-Day paradox front, anyway!]] Gemma waited for some kind of response from Crimson, but then Judith, bat b***h from hell, tramped her way over. At first, a growl threatened to come out of her throat and the desire to pounce the woman to the ground and slam her head into it repeatedly was making itself very known. Crimson still hadn't responded, but Gemma's brow seemed to furrow into even more of a knot as the other woman spoke. 'Bite your tongue,' she instructed herself, but when Judith had the gall to insult her and her friend, Gemma literally bit down on her tongue to hold back the b***h fest that wanted to burst forth.
But before she could get Crimson behind her, he was speaking to her. She looked up at him with some kind of mixed hopeful look and something else, but it shattered, rather quickly, when he said that he was going along with Judith. She deflated like a balloon. But, instead of making some big show about it, she simply smiled softly and nodded at his decision. There was nothing she could do about it, so she was left to hope he'd live to see another day. She'd call him tomorrow in the morning, just in case she'd have to file a missing persons if he didn't answer.
For a long moment, she kind of just stood there. But, then something nagged at the back of her head, and she turned to find a petite, young woman. She was not tall, she was not muscular, she was not Australian, nor was she a single mother, or an tattoo artist, or had anything close to resembling red or orange in her hair. Gemma would have to settle. As she mentally closed the door on Crimson and Judith, for now, she tried her best to smile at the new girl. "Oh, I'm your date?" she asked, rather lamely, "I don't mind, I was just talking to a friend," she handwaved the hostility in the air away, an wispy smile coming to her lips again. "I'm Gemma Rhodes," she introduced herself, "And you look very lovely." she said, as honestly as she could manage, trying her best to block distressing thoughts from cracking into her exterior.
[[I'm totally fine with playing this date out or not, Tera, but I cannot pick a place to occupy if they were. Dx]]

A bit of a drawn out "Oh," came from Ai as the Noelle explained that she was blind. When Ai was in the city she had seen people who were blind walking around with dogs guiding them but she had never actually spoken to or met a blind person before and so Ai wasn't quite sure how to react.
Ai herself couldn't imagine what it would be like not knowing how everything looked and though she was curious as to what it would be like she knew better than to ask. Even so, all of the girl's other senses seemed to be intact. At least she could touch, taste, smell, and most importantly hear! Being the music lover that Ai was, that had to be the most important sense, right?
Her attention was soon brought away from that thought and back to Wander, "Wow, he must be really smart," Ai remarked. She had never seen anyone with a sheep to help them and she didn't even know sheep could aid people like that. After reading that book Animal Farm for school she had thought that sheep were actually kind of dumb, but now she wasn't so sure.

] Even that small word of poorly pronounced Chinese was enough to deeply touch Mei, and her mouth fell open, her eyes practically shining. "Yes! Yes! Ni hao! That was really good!" she practically bounced in place. Meeting a native speaker was one thing, but someone trying to speak to her? That was just all different shades of wonderful! She wanted to hug Mitsuke, but she remembered how Mindy had reacted, so she decided to wait until she knew this woman better first. "I know a really nice place! It's really comfortable and quiet and--" Oh wait, no, she couldn't take a date to the cupboard in the clinic. Not only would that be inappropriate and totally weird, the two of them wouldn't be able to fit. Then they'd have to take turns, and it would just be a complete mess. "The bakery sounds nice. I've never been." Her brother owned a bakery? How shiny and lovely~
[ ooc: want to just say that they had a lovely time, and Mei insisted that they be friends and play again sometime? 8D ]
Haruka was feeling pretty awful by this point. Staying in her thoughts like this wasn't doing her any good, and the more she imagined Raiden off pursuing some super model she had imagined herself (She was tall and blonde and busty, had seen the world and had a degree in French or something romantic sounding, and owned a beautiful mansion on the mainland) and the more she stood there, the more she inadvertently compared herself to this imaginary person. Although she was generally confident, her self esteem was easily wounded, and with every moment that passed she felt smaller, more immature, more childish, plainer, and a handful of other dampening things. And so when Raiden spoke, she was too wrapped up in her "I lost, I suck" mode that she didn't realize what he really meant. She stared up at him for a long moment, before feeling even more deflated. He was teasing her. Like she thought, she was just a kid, and he couldn't even take her seriously. Not even as a fellow adult. "....I'm going home," she looked up at him sadly before glancing back down. She just had to will her legs to move. And on top of it all, she hadn't even noticed that her mother was gone.

Mitsuke smiled at Mei, she really seemed happy over her silly little hello. She smiled back, just as excited that this was going well. She tilted her head at the mention of the nice place, but obviously it wasn't all that nice so she blew it off. "Yeah, it's right that way. It's actually good too! Oooo~ Maybe you can teach me some more Chinese!" She smiled real big and without even thinking about grabbed Mei's hand and pulled her towards the exit and to the bakery.
[OOC:: sounds great~]

Raiden continued to watch Haruka, especially as her emotions changed to so sad. He had no idea what could have brought that on, he thought that maybe it was because of the whole eye on someone thing. But, he quickly pushed that away thinking he was being too egotistical about it all. Maybe she remembered that today was the day her favorite cat died, or something close to that. Either way, it pained him to see her like this. He knew he had liked her for quite some time, but who would have thought she meant that much. A large frown enveloped his face as he looked into her eyes. He wanted to ask her if she was okay, but a blind person could tell that she wasn't.
He just kind of watched her, trying to think of anything he had said that would cause her to act like this. It hit him like a ton of bricks when she said she was leaving. She couldn't go with that sad look on her face, and besides, he needed someone to talk to to make the fact that he was watching his sister not seem so creepy. He mentally took a deep breath, too afraid to take an actual one and moved one hand to the side of her face and one closer to her chin. He gently lifted her head, their faces barely three inches from each other. "Haruka. I don't want to move because... the person is... you." That had not come out as smoothly as he wanted it too, but even through the slight stuttering he said everything that he wanted too. Hopefully that would be the magical antidote to erasing the sadness that came across her. Just for good measure, he leaned in, ever so slowly, and pressed his lips against hers. He wasn't quite sure if he was unable to move or if he just didn't want to, but for whatever reason he stayed standing just like that with his hands delicately holding her and his lips creating the kiss he never realized that he had wanted for so long.

[ ooc: la la la, exit Mei, they had a lovely time, she taught her lots of Chinese phrases that Mitsuke probably forgot right away, too lazy to actually type out anything~~~~ ]
Really, it was like a vicious cycle. Haruka was always concerned with coming across as a child, and when she failed to seem cool, she just fell into the childish thing. The cool, adult thing to do would probably be to laugh it off, deal with her conflicting emotions at home, and just try to have a nice time. But no, she had to play the immature card and run away. She usually tried to be composed, but here she was, displaying every little emotion on her face. She would be embarrassed by her behavior later on, especially since she was being so uncharacteristically transparent.
Honestly, she had expected Raiden to continue what he was doing, maybe tease her a bit and get her to stay, or maybe even he'd be a little hurt. She could deal with that, somehow, and had just willed her legs to move, and had taken a step when he reached out and stopped her. Whatever emotion she had been displaying on her face vanished in an instant and was replaced by pure skepticism. He just wouldn't stop teasing her, it seemed, and now it was starting to get old. She probably would have continued on to yank herself away and chastise him, but then he said something that confused the hell out of her, and then stepped forward to kiss her. She stiffened immediately, just from the pure shock of it, and her brain, which had already been swirling around in all sorts of directions with no idea of which way was up, only got more muddled. It... wasn't bad. Actually, pretty nice. Really nice. Exponentially better than any of the ones she had had before in her limited experience. Now she relaxed, closing her eyes, and returned the kiss. And her brain allowed her to indulge in it all for another moment or two.
But then it woke up.
Without warning, Haruka pushed them apart, keeping Raiden firmly at an arm's length away. "Wait... Wait. Time out." She looked away and covered her face with her free hand as she tried to sort out her thoughts, her other hand still resting on Raiden's chest. She was even more confused now than she had been before. He didn't have a date, he was interested in someone. The busty blonde didn't exist. It was... her? He was interested in her? "Why?" No, no, that wasn't a good thing to ask, or even think, god, what was wrong with her? Okay, so he was interested in her, and that's why he kissed her. Kissed her. On Valentine's Day. "Oh god, so lame," she wimpered under her breath at the thought. But what done was done, it was lame and cliche, but... it had happened. He was interested in her and he kissed her and she had kissed back, hadn't she, and...
Now that the world didn't feel like it was spinning anymore, Haruka lowered both of her hands and looked him in the eye. Well, sort of. She was still confused, and she didn't like feeling confused. And so after a moment of silence, she stepped forward to cup his face in her hands, before lightly squeezing. "I don't understand this face...!" she said irritably with a frown. She probably would have continued like that until she had squeezed out all of her confusion, frustration, and insecurity out of her system, like a giant stress ball, when something else occurred to her. "What about Mom?" she cried as she dropped her hands, glancing around in search of the redhead, turning pink at the thought of her mother having seen all of this. But the woman was nowhere to be seen, and Haruka wasn't sure if she should be relieved or annoyed that she had been left behind.

ooc: sorry this took so long, usagi! D: i'm just going to end it off here since i won't be able to post for the next couple weeks.
Noelle turned her head down. That was how most people reacted when she said she was blind. Awkward and uncomfortable. But those really went hand in hand. Most people would treat her differently after finding out she was blind, like opening doors for her, not that she would see it was open, getting her things, guiding her places. That was what Wander was for. She doesn't view her blindness as a disability, even though technically it is. That thought was vanquished along with many others when Noelle decided it wasn't something to cry about.
"He is! And I didn't train him or anything! I think that it's because I got it from a rich guy. He probably hired a genetic engineer to make him super smart." She didn't know why Gino would have done such a thing even if he did make it especially for her, but it was what it was. "I wasn't really a fan of sheep, but after spending so much time around Wander I really began to love them." But, maybe it was just him.
Wander nudged Noelle's knees and started walking. Since Noelle was petting and holding on to his fleece, she naturally followed him. "Oh, I guess Wander thinks it's time to go. I was getting kind of hungry anyways. It was nice metting you, Ai." She smiled warmly at let Wander lead her home.

Ah~ What a nice day to have a stroll. A pleasant first stroll in a new town. How refreshing for a man who had just settled into the island. Avian was definitely on could nine right now. Setting up his business was getting tiresome, so it was nice to get out on the town just once before starting to work. Although even when escaping his work, he did bring part of it with him. Right by the side of the green haired man was his faithful companion, Bob. Of course Bob was a rooster, which means he was allowed to venture the world with Avi. Plus the chicken was the man's first chicken bought. So obviously it was his favorite. That's why he brought it around on a leash. Yes, odd to see a man walking through town with a chicken on a leash. But even so, he didn't have a single care in the world. And it showed as he smiled and waved to all the NPCs who walked by him. Most of them puzzled by the encounter. Yet, he liked to believe that they appreciated his gesture.
Around and hour into his stroll, Avian had seemed to find himself in a large garden. He was a bit nervous about having an animal on the grounds of such a lovely place. However like stated, it was quite beautiful and he couldn't help but wander in. Since he was new, everything was new to him. Wasn't that such an exciting feeling? The feeling of everything being unfamiliar. He lived for it. That's why he strolled the garden with a sparkle in his eye, as he took in all the new scenery. It was something he couldn't pass up. So he decided to sit and enjoy the area for a while. Finding a close bench, he took a seat and let his eyes wander the area. Of course, making sure Bob didn't do anything bad as well.
