-Blaire Vatonage & Rune LeBlanc-
Oh, now these were the moments babysitters where happy with kids. Those tender cliche moments that in a few year you'd tell them to wipe away the crocodile tears. Right now though, it was enough to smile at the girl and let it slide. "It's all right Erika. How about a hug huh?" said the white haired woman, extending her arms so the girl would come to her. It was better to let her go to her, otherwise they might just have another not so lovely moment. Erika's fears wouldn't come true though. This was the first time watching the girl, and complaining about the girl most likely wouldn't send a good message to Reed. Besides, this was probably something that Reed was dealing with, and it wasn't nothing she couldn't handle. And looking at her, well she couldn't deny she was adorable either. Ah to be young and naive... believing they were adorable like that...
The young girl sank a bit visibly, as he stared her down. Well he was bigger and taller! It was no wonder why the girl would be intimidated! However fascination beat the intimidation, which was why she simply smiled. "I'm not THAT small" she countered, even if it was a lie. Rune was still small for her age. She never really caught on, spending so much time with younger kids, so it wasn't a big deal. What it was about him, well Rune wasn't really sure, but the way he spoke made her look up at him in awe. The girl fiddled with her hands in front of her, still looking up at him of course. "June...? My name's Rune." Rune, June... That sounded eerily close actually. No wonder that small boy's mind wondered if June's name was a girl name! Not that the girl knew about that, just the narrator wondering.

Erika was quite skeptical at the woman by this point. If she could actually see through the tears in her eyes, she probably would be staring at Blaire. The lady was being nice... Even though she was a bad lady, she was being nice. It confused the young girl more than you would think. So much so that she pouted and stomped a bit, but at the same time move closer and buried her face into her chest and allowed herself to be hugged. Erika somehow felt angry, protected, and defeated all at the same time. Not to mention that she was still trying to hold back a few tears. This was a situation she had never encountered before. And besides Reed and Alt's mom, she had never been hugged by anyone else. Though somehow being hugged by this woman made her more upset. Confused and upset. "Grr..." She let out a small growl as she hugged and tried to wrestle Blaire in one go. Confused on how to feel about what was going on.
Back with the other set of kids, June had entered a conversation with the young friend of his brother. Ray had began to play with a small trinket from his pocket and buried himself in his own world. In fact, he was quite happy to be free from any conversations. Of course he would like to have time to play with his brother. But, he was okay with the solitude of working with the small device. On the other hand, the older brother had decided to talk to the girl a little more, he bended down to her level to do so. "Sure you are, your probably even smaller than him" He said with a wide grin. Despite his... Rambunctious personality, June was actually fond of children. As long as they weren't Ray at least. To him kids were always pretty entertaining, and since they were smaller and weaker than him, he felt the urge to protect them. They gave him a kind of hero feeling, especially when they looked up to him. That's why the boy had some finesse when it came to handling kids. "Rune huh?" June spoke as he ruffled the girl's hair with his hands, "Your names so close to mine."

-Blaire Vatonage & Rune LeBlanc-
That small moment that lingered between the two females? Right before Erika moved? Well Blaire was worried for a moment things would go bad there... and maybe they did. At first the woman didn't really notice what the girl was doing. She had just assumed it was a hug, but then she felt the small force trying to... wrestle her? This honestly amused Blaire, it really did. Which was why she tensed herself, doing whatever she could to stay in place, all the while hugging back tightly the girl, acting like she wasn't feeling that resistance, and completely ignoring that growl. "That's such a strong hug Erika" said the woman quite cheerfully. If that's how the girl wanted to play, Blaire could play right back. "SO full of affection. That's so sweet~" Oh children, this is why she loved dealing with them. Even at that age they were so unpredictable, and of course assuming they had control over a situation, even for a bit, always made her day when they came to reality, and then suddenly love you... Sometimes she wondered if that love was kind of hypocritical, but hey it was better than nothing... or so she liked to believe.
As Ray buried himself in his own world, Rune was busy leaning of the being that was June. His words left her with her mouth open for a few seconds before retaliating. "N-No I'm not!" she looked over to Ray quickly trying to prove her point but... He was right! She was smaller! Oh rats! That had her quiet for a second, wondering what to say. She had nothing to defend herself with here... which was kind of disappointing, at least before June's finesse kicked in. Her eyes focused on him again as he said her name. It sounded cool when he said it, didn't it? Though she didn't understand why, she knew it sounded nicer. The next words made her smile and had those blue eyes practically beaming. "That's kinda cool" she said with that smile. "You're older than me aren't you? But you can't be that older" commented the girl suddenly. After all, he was so big... "...Or I'm that small?" Oh dear, that thought wasn't nice... she could deal with being small, but not THAT small! That would mean Wilhelm would grow up to be a giant and have the upper hand! It could not happen!

Somehow Erika felt completely defeated as she tried to squirm out of Blaire's grip. The girls emotions swelled up again and she couldn't decide what to feel anymore. Usually in this state the biting would begin. But as the girl moved to open her mouth, she could only remember the strict scolding her father gave her after the incident in the town square. She shut her mouth quickly and looked up at the woman, still being embraced, with tear eyes and cheeks pouted. This woman... This woman was... She was... "Mean~" Whined the little girl with a wavering voice. The girl didn't have a very good vocabulary like her dad. In fact it was still hard for her to string sentences together. Which became the reason for her one to three word attacks. She'd probably come off as less cute if she used the rowdy words she would hear her father use against Alastair. But since she still struggled with basic greetings, her childishness only shined more within her lesser speaking abilities. Which is why she could only say a quick, "Let go," as she tried to break her babysitters hold.
"Your that small," June said with his eyes wide open. Like someone revealing a grave secret that the other one should know about. "I'm only six," He spoke with a joking voice, though still being serious. He then pointed to Ray and moved closer to the girl as if he was telling her another secret, "Ray is only two, that's why he barely talks, he doesn't know how yet." Of course the small white haired boy heard that loud and clear. Pouting immediately and coming over to smack his brother, the boy let out a small roar. June only laughed it off and held his brother off with his hand on his forehead. He then stood straight up and place his free hand on his hip, looking down on Rune intensely. "You see," He began to speak closing his eyes as if he was making an important speech, and then opening them widely, pointing down at the small girl, "We're giants." Of course, there were probably better things to do for the ten year old boy then teasing a small girl, but he was enjoying himself at the moment. Besides even Ray was visibly upset which made this moment all the better for the blonde boy.

-Blaire Vatonage & Rune LeBlanc-
Blaire honestly wanted to laugh at that whine. Kids were so much fun... and if she had bitten her, things would've really gone downhill. There's only so much one can take... even for her. But a 'Mean' and 'Let go' she could be happy with it. The woman chuckled just a bit before nodding. "All right, it's too much affection anyways" she said, mostly to herself, before releasing the girl. Blaire still stayed on the floor, keeping the same level between them. "Better?" The female wondered how Reed was with his daughter. Sure he had talked about her enough, but Erika, the little sunshine, was more than just a little sunshine. Then again, children were never just the good stuff. "Do you want to do something together here?" Lame attempt... but Rune was-Where was she? Oh with the boys. Rune could be all right on her own, besides this one wasn't hers so all attention had to be on her... especially if she decided to make another run for it. Then they would certainly have smurf football with her... She'd do it.
Rune let out a little gasp at that. She was not that small! And she was just about to retaliate it... least before June talked about Ray. The girl looked at him confused and shook her head, again about to counter that before he did something else. This time holding the boy off and looking down at her, which honestly made her shrink a bit. Her gaze shifted to Ray, who was still trying to go at him, to no avail. "...Giants?" she repeated after a moment. "...But..." That did not make sense at all. "He can talk. I know he can" she said with a nod. "Besides I'm seven! So... He..." Honestly? Rune was pouting a bit herself. Was he making fun of her? But... Oh she didn't like this! He was so... ugh. "You're lying..." accused the girl with half-closed eyes. "Aren't you?" Of course she'd question her accusation! She half believed him after all... but she was refusing to believe she was that small. She was not!

Of course Erika was relieved to be out of Blaire's grip, but not so much as for it to physically show over a now pouting face. Mostly out of stubbornness, which is why she shook her head vigorously at the first question. Though in truth it was a little better. The small girl liked attention, which is why even though she hated who she was with, she liked the attention that she was getting. Probably a bad thing to encourage in a girl with an already abrasive personality, however the babysitter was just that, not a mind reader. Erika wasn't very complex, yet no one thing is absolute. Especially someones personality. Which if you went by her outward appearance, Blaire would probably expecting a no from the blonde. And instead, got a raised hand. A motion signifying that the child was okay with being taken somewhere. She was like a princess, which was no surprise how much her papa worried for. And her highness was allowing the guardian to not only hold her hand, but taker her somewhere to have fun.
June himself was enjoying acting superior, though in a different sense. Now that he had established his authority of greatness to Ray's little friend, he wasn't ready for her to call him a liar. Well obviously he would tell the truth about not being a giant, just in a way that kept him safe from accusations. "Calling me a liar..." He spoke with a facade of sorrow. He once again knelled down to her level with a frown, "Your such a meanie." Of course he was just like the pot calling the kettle black, but the girl was to young to understand plus she had just met him. He could be a saint for all she knew. Though, Ray knew better. Which is why he let a small, "Stop it," before his mouth was covered by his brother's hand. "But, I'll forgive you, since your my cute little brother's friend," And for other reasons as well. Mostly to avoid the whole giant lie thing. For a older child who was supposed to be mature enough not to be mean to little kids, he really didn't have much self-control in that regard. Maybe it's because he was just so use to bullying Ray, and this girl looked similar. Well, the blue white hair at least, which he ruffled again with his hand. Ray had a girly face as well. They were so alike, how could June not tease her?

-Blaire Vatonage & Rune LeBlanc-
Oh well, close enough. She wasn't crying anymore at least. Blaire had been happy with just that, quite frankly expecting to run off after her again, or to deal with a reluctant kid. But to her surprise, Erika responded in the opposite. "Oh?" The woman smiled at that reaction and nodded. "All right then, let's go" she said, standing up straight and taking the girl's hand, very carefully. Now, what to do with the girl? ...Hm... Could never go wrong with the swings right? They weren't that far from where they were so it was perfect. "Do you like playing on the swings Erika?" Blaire asked her, as she stopped in front of one and took a hold of the chain that held the seat in the air. It was funny how this place still felt familiar, even after the hurricane. She could bet that this was one of the few places that Gaston touched, and actually did well with it... If only the other buildings/areas could be fixed... One could hope... Just not very much. Hey it was Nirvani after all.
She was a meanie? Well by the way her eyes widened and she visibly shrunk at his facade of sorrow, you'd have never thought that of the girl. "I-I'm not!" barely protested the girl before Ray spoke up, which had her looking at him for a moment. Just a bit, because June took the spotlight soon enough. It was a rather constant thing with them. The young one had maybe half a second to make a statement, while June hogged them. Not that Rune really noticed, she was just going up and down with June's words. "...Okay..." Rune said softly, looking off to the side for a moment. She was cute? That felt good to hear. But it was new, normally it was adults that found her cute... at least until they were bending over in pain to a crashing Wilhlem into their legs. The boy usually forgot you could stop before bumping. "...But you're not giants right?" Well it sort of lingered in her mind! "Cause I see Ray at school... and stuff..." It made sense! To her easily satisfied mind? Yes it did.

"Yes..." Erika replied softly as she plopped down onto the swing. Even though she had really only just gotten to the park she was already quite tired of it. Maybe because she had made a scene and now didn't feel like playing. Though, being four, she didn't understand that. So instead she swung her legs back and forth as she sat. Her tiny body unable to move the swing even an inch. Her hands rapped around the chains as her mind wandered. The girl was never talkative to begin with, so you could say she was behaving quite normally as of now. She lost any will to be a brat, and just wanted to go home now, but didn't know how to express that. So instead she just looked up Blaire with her big ol' blue eyes and shrunk back a little with a tired look. The 'I wanna' go home look'. Erika didn't mind if Blaire was taking care of her anymore, she just wanted to sit down in a house and relax. She was a child who preferred being read to on the couch then playing in a park. Maybe that was from having a more bookish father, however it was still a fact for the blonde toddler.
The King brother's were about done with the park as well. Well, June was at least. Teasing a cute little girl only entertained him so much before he wanted to do something else. Besides, the older boy had better things to do then play with some kid. He could be sitting at the arcade trying to beat that fighter game for the 300th time. Or he could be at the light house enjoying some peace and quiet. And with all that in mind he stood up straight and looked down at Rune, "We're not." His speech was, of course, blunt. As if he didn't even care that he lied, which he didn't. Why should he? This was as much as he could handle for now though. So with that, he took Ray by the collar and began to head back to his bike. "Later short stuff," He called back to the girl. A very hasty exit, but very like a selfish person like June. The white haired brother waved at his friend as he was dragged by his brother. Somewhat happy now that the situation was over, yet said to leave. He didn't even get to play. But, of course, June didn't care. So they got on the bike and left the park.

Who'd thought the kid would be calm now. Blaire simply smiled, watching her a while before it was painfully obvious that the girl wanted to leave. She wasn't psychic, but after dealing with kids these last seasons, she could take a hint or two. "Come on kid, we should head back" said the babysitter after a while. Just in time too, since Rune was headed their way after waving off the suddenly departed Ray and June. She met with her aunt and clung to the smaller child, just like they were before. It would be a small walk back home, and not that long until Reed came to pick up the adorable little ray of "sunshine". Of course....
