Pecan gave a horrified look at Hoshi as he saw his head go down. He didn't even hear Pecan!
"Wha- Oh sure!" Pecan practically shouted out and started chewing on the plants vigorously. He nearly gagged at the taste. So bitter! His nose scrunched up but he continued chewing. Hoshi needed his help he could die at any moment!
Rushing forward Pecan spat out the nasty tasting substance on Hoshi's wounds, licking them smoothly into the cuts. "Dun worreh yull be awl white!"

Jatai gave no reply to Hoshi, no more than a flick of the tail to say she heard...but was she ready to forgive him? She wasn't even looking at the wounded fox, so would--Could she forgive him? She didn't want to think about that...Jatai didn't want anything to do with Hoshi right now; maybe it more than just her pride that had been hurt...
"I'll be over there, Nutty," she told her friend, jutting a paw in some direction before heading that way. She plopped down into the soft grass that was there...and just laid there. Quiet.

Hoshi pushes Pecan away a bit as he looks at him and smiles. "I am fine. Thank you for your help. But I will be ok." lying through his teeth as he starts to walk away. He just doesn't want to be here right now. As he moves slowly his face away from them. He flinches every so often as he heads away from Pecan and Jatai. But the blood lose is getting to him as he reaches the body of water. Next thing he knows is his body is limp as he is semi out of it in the water. This thought relaxes him as he closes his eyes.

"What do we do?" Pecan said as he bit his lower lip as he panicked over the situation. "Hoshi doesn't- I- I-! He keeps trying to get away..."
Pecan looked towards Jatai quickly before going back to the fox that needed his help. He nudged Hoshi's body with his nose before deciding it was probably better to drag him out of the lake. Taking his fur into his mouth, Pecan pulled the fox carefully into the dry soil, careful not to reopen any of the clotting wounds.

Though while she took no notice of the splash in the water, Jatai's ears perk at Pecan's worried tone. She looked up, blinking a few times as she watched her friend struggle to drag Hoshi out of the water and onto dry land..."Get him onto your back," she barked out, "We'll take him back to the others."

Hoshi growls at Pecan and then to Jatai as he shows his teeth. His eyes glow more as his voice gets pissed. "LEAVE ME ALONE." He gets away from Pecan as he back goes back to Jatai as he goes back fully in the water and swims to the other side and walks out. Shaking the water off of him. "I am sorry Pecan. Forgive me. I just want to be alone." He bows to Pecan. His wounds are still bleeding back he isn't going to give up on life that easy but for right now he doesn't want to be near Jatai seeing she hates him and he knows it.

"I'm sorry!" Pecan shouted out as he flinched away from Hoshi's sudden shout. His ears tucked back and his tail touched the floor as he walked backwards slowly, not daring to look Hoshi in the face nor being able to hear Hoshi's apology. "Sorry... sorry." Pecan mumbled out as he chewed on his lower lip.
He felt like disappearing.
