Odette.... wanted to hit him in the face. Like, honestly wanted to pull her arm back and punch him in the face. The tone he used, it reminded her of something... She was listening, very much agitated, when he said something that caught her attention. She had no idea what a vampire could and couldn't do really, she was barely a month old for crying out loud. "Hypnotized?" she asked, ignoring now the tone. She understood the reason for it, which did not make it ok, but at least made it more bearable. "I wasn't aware that was possible." she said, thinking aloud with a thinking look on her face as she mulled over what Rufus had said, although it was mostly the last part, she was replaying his encounter with the constable, and, now that she was looking for it, she found the eyecontact he implied.

Odette looked at him, her mouth setting in a line and her lone eyebrow raising in a look that said, are you ******** serious. Apologize... Odette, apologizing... no. That just didn't happen. She had said nothing wrong in the beginning, nothing at all, and when he had asked, she had not lied to him, but he had also asked.
"No." she said calmly, although she didn't think Rufus would take it so.
She would not apologize, she did nothing wrong and she wouldn't say she was sorry for something that, in her eyes, didn't merit the words.

....WHAT THE ********!? Who the hell, the hell did this ******** ********, think she was!? She was a ******** lunatic who didn't even know what the ******** her name was! She was just some low class psycho who didn't even know how to ******** hunt!
Here he was being all hospitable, being all nice and letting her share what was his ******** meal, and she was not going to apologize.

No he was sick of this! He didn't like when people didn't just do what he said! It wasn't cool it wasn't fair!
Rufus was God and that was final! If people didn't listen to Rufus they had to eat horse s**t, then die, then eat horse s**t in horse s**t hell!
His eyes snapped open.
"It's curious that you wouldn't listen to the man that just got you a meal." His words were dripping with venom. Rufus personally didn't like people standing up to him. He didn't find it a turn on, in fact it made him want to kill people.
A low growl erupted from deep in his chest.
"I'll mercifully give you five more seconds to redeem yourself for you insolence."

Odette's eyes narrowed when Rufus spoke and her upper lip curled to unknowingly reveal her fangs. She wasn't going to do it, and if he was going to try to kill her for it, then so be it but dammit she wouldn't do it!! And just because he shared his meal did not automatically make him in charge of her, she was grateful for the meal, but that was as far as it went. And his ultimatum just made it worse, it made her want to push the guy even further, although she was very well aware that it wasn't the smartest idea to do that. "An apology is for when you've wronged someone, I've not wronged you, therefore I will not apologize."

Odette.. didn't know what hit her.. well she did but it happened so fast that she didn't realize it until the stars started to fade from in front of her eyes. She wanted to hit him, oh she wanted to do...something.. anything that would make him miserable, but she didn't obviously this guy was not only a homosexual, but had control issues as well. Which made her wonder why he liked guys because usually they were less inclined to let someone boss them around. Well, now that that had been established she looked at him, her face surprisingly calm as the sudden bruise slowly faded from her skin, although she was pretty sure it was going to be sore as hell regardless. What was he expecting her to say, oh no please don't hit me again, I'll do what you want me to!! Yeah, not gonna happen, ever. Instead, she did something else that was probably irritating as hell to him, and would earn her another hit for sure. But it satisfied her need to ******** with him, sure it hurt.. a lot, but.. she wouldn't let him know that. "Actually, I was kind of hoping you would hit the other side, you know make it even." she said, her expression completely serious.

What about respecting your elders!? Rufus respected his father, and his dad was older than him! See if even Rufus could respect some elders, this b***h, who wasn't even as cool as him, could totally respect her elder too....namely him!
She was just asking for it! She was clearly in the mental ward because she was a suicidal little s**t!
"Of course." Rufus lifted his hand and smacked her just as hard on her other cheek.
"And just in case." Rufus, using his fist, sent a particularly nasty, and possibly critical wounding , right hook towards Odette's exposed jaw.

Odette reeled back from the slap, but there was more than that coming, he had punched her in the jaw and she staggered and actually fell on her rump, her mouth and head exploding in pain. She groaned and blinked, the blood dripping from her mouth down her neck and soaking up in her pathetic excuse for clothes. He had almost ripped her jaw off in the process of hitting her!!! But it was starting to heal, almost instantly. Although, it was slower than normal due to the lack of nutrients she had over the past few weeks. She shook her head and stood, looking at Rufus with a stony expression on her face. She licked her lips as the blood stopped flowing and crossed her arms over her chest, smiling. "Well, now that the formalities are out of the way." she looked down the street as another police officer rounded the bend. "I do believe you have a meal to attend to, don't worry about me though, I think i'll just watch this time." she said serenely, as if the entire evening were her idea and the events that had happened had gone just as she had planned.

Hah, b***h was stumbling.
Eat fist imputent crazy lady!
Rufus did feel a wave of happiness wash over him seeing Odette suffer. That probably...wasn't healthy, but Rufus wasn't going to deny himself the privilege of happiness and splendor!
Oh great, now she was composed. Ugh, people composed were so boring. He liked people when they were in pain, on drugs, or expiring sexual bliss. Why? Because then they weren't lying. Sure Rufus lied a lot, he never told the truth actually, and he wasn't going to give that up, but you know what, he really appreciated honesty. He liked seeing it, a lot. It was weird and sort of magical in this twisted, sad sort of way.
He chewed on his tongue and stared at Odette who was clearly lying, well not lying, but acting. Rufus knew the signs, he would do the same thing if he were her!
"Glorious" he remarked blandly and stepped out from the ally.

Odette watched Rufus, her gaze was cold yet admiring in a way. He was a ruthless pain in the a**, as well as a control freak and egotistical, and he was probably crazier than he let on or even believed himself to be. Still he held traits she could appreciate as well as learn from.
That still wasn't going to make her change her behavior, but it was an interesting thought anyways. She looked at Rufus as he stepped out of the ally and decided to watch more closely what he did. She wasn't even sure how this whole hypnotizing thing worked anyways.

Odette looked up at the sound of the voice as well, and then Rufus was calling her over. She sighed and walked over to where he was, looking at the man who had just jumped from the rooftops, and brushing a piece of her red hair out of her face.
Benedict... wasn't that a way one took their eggs? As small smirk began to play on her lips, not only at the name, but at Rufus's apparent discomfort. "What is it Rufus?" she asked cheerily and stopped next to him.

"Oh Odette, you were saying we should return, and I must say I agree." Wow that was a lie in itself. Rufus just really didn't want to deal with good ol' Benny boy.
"Are you wearing a dress?"
And that was why.
Rufus nodded and shook his head like Ben was the idiot and that Rufus himself wasn't the weird one for wearing a dress. "Why yes my good sir, I am. They are at the height of fashion and are not only, form fitting," which these "dresses" most certainly weren't, "but also breathable."
"Yet you are not wearing shoes?"
"Benedict, most wonderful, dearest Benedict, are you blind...or dumb? Can you not see my bare feet?" Rufus was just being a b***h now.
"Oh I'm dreadfully sorry." Like Rufus, Benedict...was sort of out there. "Who is this Odette?"
"No one." Apparently Benedict held the power to make Rufus very uncomfortable....but that was because Rufus knew, Rufus knew what was going to happen and he wanted to n** the bud before it bloomed!

Odette smirked, looking from Rufus to Benedict... honestly who named their kid that anyways?! And... did the guy just wave off the fact Rufus was wearing a dress... What an odd fellow indeed- No One? Well, what did we have here? She looked at him and crossed her arms. "Oh don't be silly Rufus, tell the man what good friends we are." she said wickedly and sat back on her heels, as a matter of fact, they were quiet far from friends. Although they weren't quiet enemies, not yet anyways.
