Not really. If it was like a wire it would be used more like a whip because its too thin to hold a sturdy shape without being pulled tight. O:

Yes and It would absorb your chakra to use specific abilities listed on your custom weapon. It cannot however, absorb a jutsu used by an opponent.

You do realize, that by burning up the oxygen, you will kill your character? You could create a Jutsu that applies itself to a weapon or you can make a sword that specifically only does that.

The Range of the weapon: Anywhere from Melee to Throwing Distance
Weakness:
1. If the opponent knows about the weapon, the pitch black coloring as numerous runes along the blade should be an obvious ‘get the heck away’. In other words, enemies who know of the weapon will have a better time avoiding its explosion, due to awareness.
2. If someone who isn’t attuned to the kunai picks it up and tries to activate its detonation power, the kunai will simply reject their Chakra and remain a normal kunai.
3. If someone can excite the user in a way that causes his Chakra connection to vibrate, the kunai could (and probably will) explode prematurely. This is usually bad when the kunai is still in the user’s hands.
Description:
The Black Edged Kunai is an invention created by Mitrian’s father as a defensive weapon meant for his family only. Upon creation, Rorik went through a number of test runs (and near death experiences) before his final version was formed. The design is that similar to a natural kunai, yet the steel is pitch black and several runes run along the edges of the blade. The runes upon the kunai are superbly attuned to an individual person’s Chakra, and thus make the weapon more effective to its ‘chosen’ user. By placing a bit of Chakra inside the weapon, its true power activates and turns the weapon into a remote detonation mine. This being said, while the kunai will retain the look and effect of one, simply focusing on the contained Chakra will cause the weapon to detonate, delivering a great deal of damage to the unsuspecting ninja. Once the kunai has exploded, the weapon is destroyed in such a way that it would be impossible for the enemy to recreate the weapon. With this said, the slightest amount of Chakra focus can detonate the weapon, even while it is in the user’s pouch if prepared before battle. To counter this, a specific kunai pouch was created along with the weapon, acting as a barrier to prevent any premature detonations.
Each kunai requires a minute amount of Chakra, but enough to notice if used on numerous ones. -2 Chakra per Black-Edged Kunai for detonation power.
Explosive range equals the size and power of a grenade. Those caught inside the blast will either be badly injured or subject to death. Those caught along the perimeter of the explosion will most likely get knocked back, but stronger ninjas should be able to keep their footing.

In the middle of the forest, a battle was raging on. The ninja, whose mission had been to exterminate enemy forces close by the village, had hid himself behind a tree trying to regain his energy. He had managed to take out a number of them through his Gentle Fist style, but now he was close to running out of steam. With two enemies remaining at near full strength, the ninja almost expected himself to lose the fight. Suddenly, his eyes glanced down at the kunai pouch, a unique variant from the normal kind, on his side. It only took him a moment to think, but now he had a feeling he could win this fight.
Thrusting his hand into the kunai pouch, he closed his eyes as he focused his Chakra into the 5 kunai he had in there. With that done, he snapped his eyes opened and slid out of his cover into plain view. Almost immediately, he was greeted with a number of shuriken, though his already activated Byakugan kept him safe as he quickly back flipped out of the way. Upon landing, his hand gripped two of the kunai in his pouch and flung them with great precision at his enemies. Though they managed to dodge the strikes on their perches, they only smirked at the miss instead of moving away from the oddly colored kunai. Of course, they didn’t have a clue what the kunai could do… Seeing that the enemy on his left was beginning to make hand signs, the ninja smirked as he released his focused Chakra grasp on the kunai behind him. Immediately, the kunai’s runes glowed for a split moment before exploding, engulfing the hapless enemy in its destruction. Thinking quickly, the other enemy grabbed hold of the black kunai and threw it back at the ninja. Although the attack was dodged, the enemy attempted to cause the kunai to explode from behind using his own Chakra. When nothing happened, the enemy’s surprise nearly caused him to ignore the fact of the ninja leaping up at him. Reacting quickly, the enemy flung an extra shuriken at the ninja, cleaving into his body for great damage. Suddenly, the ninja dissipated into smoke, revealing its clone nature. Of course, the clone was only a ruse as a third black kunai flew out of the smoke and directly at the enemy. It had moved too fast, and the enemy was only able to watch in horror as it exploded right in his face.
Knowing that his enemies were defeated, being unable to see their Chakra anymore, the ninja sighed as he smirked to himself in self-congradulation. Upon doing so, he incidentally released the Chakra from his remaining kunai causing it to explode right behind him. Thrown forward, he hit the ground and laid there for a bit, his face filled with embarrassment for forgetting about his unsheathed kunai. Getting up in a slight struggle, he brushed himself off and headed back for the village. Hopefully, he would make it back home before he collapsed from exhaustion.
