"We're picking up Srin. He's from Sutami so he'll know how to get to the main city without us dying on our way," Liliana explained. She cuddled against Cain's shirt, hand finding its way to Cain's skin to stroke it. Her sense of touch seemed like it was on full alert lately but she chalked that up to what she had recently been shown.

Cain smiled as he felt Lili touch him. He had heard what she said, but he didn't care. All he cared about was Lili. He leaned his head over and kissed her softly.

Liliana turned bright red when Cain mentioned marriage again. "Did you think me a prude?" she asked nervously. She had thought to wait until marriage but it had just felt right to do so at this time instead.

She smiled, ready to say something else when the guide informed them they had reached the roots. Wiggling out of Cain's hold, she wiggled her toes in the earth beneath her. "My feet are fine now but you can hold on to my shoes. The ground feels better under my feet." Giving him a kiss on the cheek, Liliana made her way to the base of the roots.
