Discordancy While the shadow earned a scowl, the creature it belonged to gained a kinder smirk. "No pardonnez, it's alright. Nice t' meet you, Malodore." Aah, she remembered him now. He'd introduced himself in Alabaster's lit class - and the werewolf still wondered about that timekeeping organ of his. "Is that what they're doing? Some of the Iberians at home knew it. I never...uh. I never thought I paid that much attention." The thought gave her a moment's pause. Davi realized that she'd never actually learned the steps of the weird dance; how did her shadow!self know it, then?
On the ceiling, Shadow!Davi made an elegant leg. One clawed hand was extended to the shadow of Malodore. It appeared that the werewolf's shade wanted to engage the Plague Doctor in a waltz. The shadow bowed decorously in return, dropping its clothing back to its proper position, thank Jack. Malodore watched as its shadow took that clawed hand and began the motions of a proper waltz, though did it really have to sashay its hips like that....? "Nice to meet you as well," the plague doctor murmured, trying to keep one eye on her and one eye on the ceiling, and mostly failing. "At least yours has decorum?" it said, after a long moment of staring at the dance scene above.

Ithi continued to watch the goings on around her, glad to be out of the crowd and on her own. Then she noticed a dark form coming straight toward her. She eyed it as it came right up to her and stayed there, obviously intending to get Ithi's attention. Ithi raised a brow at the legless shadow. She wondered if the shadow had just formed improperly, or if the owner actually had to legs.
Curious, Ithi raised her hand slightly to wave at the shadow in front of her. She'd never tried to greet a shadow before, so she was unsure exactly how to go about it. Her expression softened, her eyes showing the smile that her lips did not.
A flutter of white wings caught Ithi's eye and she looked up in time to see Nekyia chasing after another shadow that had just passed by behind Tess' shadow. Was that.. her shadow he was chasing??
Her eyes widened as she watched Nekyia suddenly turn in his flight to head straight for her and the legless shadow. Luckily, all he did was swoop low to the shadow, caw in a hostile manner, then perched himself on Ithi's shoulder.
Ithi blinked a few times, then looked back at the shadow to see it's reaction. "Sorry," she murmured softly.

It took a single shout to move the shadow off her own, for the most part Samantha's shadow seemed to be okay, though it did look rather irritated now after having been attacked for what seemed like no reason, then again it was looking a little thin for a shadow, it wasn't as dark as the others. Maybe that was what happened to shadows when they get hurt?
None the less Samantha was on her knee's inspecting the shadow and frowning all the while. Her shadow had gone from disinterested and bored, to missing, and now brawling. "Jesus do you want to get us both in detention for starting trouble in the class?"
The shadow shrugged, glanced at the princess corner, and then quickly dropped it's head with a shiver. For Chuupi it became clear who the shadow was and belonged too, the two figures crouched not to far from her. Though it seemed like Samantha hadn't realized who the shadow belonged to.
(Seriously, one was a little spiky girl, the other was, well, Samantha had never seen a Chubacabra so for a lack of better words it was still classified as 'bear' albeit a very nasty one.)

Tess' shadow waved back at Ithi, pleased to have someone pay attention to it. Not that its owner wasn't desperately trying to summon it back but it figured the manananggal didn't count. It swerved away from the avian as it swooped at it and had it the ability to talk it would have some very choice, if not vulgar, words to say. Instead, it flipping its hair, before turning to show its profile because otherwise, how would it make it obvious it was sticking its tongue (it very thin, very long tongue) at the bird?
Meanwhile, Tess was fretting between looking for her shadow, which she had lost sight of and staying put. Because, well, apart from how improper it would be to suddenly excuse herself without being given permission, but she did want to know the answer to her question.

Chobi_Chocobo There was so much going on in the room now with students and shadows and Hellma. Tahki had to admit she missed most of the head mistresses talk because the room was just filled with so many distractions. Her shadow was still chasing after Julians for one. "Yeah homework.. worries me," She admitted to the owl demon. "Really... worries me," The gryphon stuck her hand in her pocket and snagged the remaining candies and eyed them. Did she really want to go through with this chaos again?
And yet this behavior said he had a "great depth of inner darkness"? It was a little hard for him to believe, but then it did make some sense. His family always hinted that his introverted personality might just be the cover on a bottle of a strength he knew nothing about and just had never tapped into. He suddenly became much more interested in this class, and his level of self confidence climbed a barely noticeable amount on his scale. It was still deep in the negative, mind, but the climb was something.
He turned to Tahki again when she spoke and gave her one of his little smiles.
"We can work together? On the h-homework, I m-mean. Donno how much help I'd be, but..." He left off there with a little shrug. Anti-social or not, he really did like helping others with academic work.

Malodore continued to study its shadow, looking up at it with a face that... would be scowling, if it were possible to do so. What did having such an unruly thing tied to it all the time say about the plague doctor itself? It was surely undignified... but was it simply making mischief, or was it expressing an 'inner darkness' or aspect of Malodore proper?
A strange thought. Malodore had certainly never thought to dance a tarantella or show off its bony legs. Not since it was very young, in any case.
One ought not pull up ones coat, Loreto - it exposes the bones to noxious vapors. Even at a young age, that one had led to an argument about 'noxious vapors' versus actual germs. It had not ended well, if Malodore remembered correctly...
A flicker of blackness jolted the plague doctor back to awareness, and it blinked to see its shadow right in front of it, angled to the side so its gawping shadow-beak was clearly visible. "Now see here," Malodore began-
Had it just giggled? Malodore couldn't tell, but that sweeping body language seemed to suggest laughter.
Rude.
"I will master you," the plague doctor informed its shadow. "We will scare together. Understood?"
A long tongue lapped out of the beak, but there was a brief nod - perhaps - before the shadow capered across the wall again, hoisting its coat high for all to see... ugh, were those knees?
Rude!

Tahki watched the shadows for a short time. They seemed to be enjoying them selves at least and there didnt seem to be a way to stop them. Not until the effects of the candy wore off at least maybe.
She turned to Julian and nodded.
"I'd really like that Julian! We can study together and make sure we both pass this class," She nodded... though she was nervous to find out what home work would include.
The gryphons shadow found its way under her some how. It wasn't attached, no, in stead it seemed to be hiding? Tahki gave it a smile and it just gave her a rude gesture in return. Tahki didn't seem to mind though. Her shadow was just hyper active... probably?

(( I know this class has been inactive for a bit, but I'm just shy of a growth point for it, so I'm just doing a quick post. ))
Kasumi was quite busy, staring at her shadow and willing it to do what she wanted. She had to be impressive for the teacher, and took her assignment in the class very seriously. Leaning this way and that, she watched as the shadow somewhat followed her jerky movements. It would take time, she knew, just to get the hang of having a shadow that was separate from one's own body. She would move one arm up and down, and another to and fro just to see what the shadow would do in response. So concentrated was she that she hadn't time to speak to others in the class. This assignment took dedication and severe concentration on her part. It wasn't everyday that a ghost had a shadow to begin with.
The last thing she wanted to do was disappoint Headmistress. She'd heard rumors that one did not cross her, even by accident. Kasumi was painfully aware that she was merely a first year student and already at a severe disadvantage. Still, that would not impede her effort put forth in the class. Not at all!
