Hello, I'm Chelsea, call me Violet, I think that name suits me better. I live in Florida, USA, and I'm 13. I recently segregated myself from Catholasizm(can't spell for cheese) because I found I didn't agree with it. I'm currently experimenting with Buddhism(for about a year now) and so far its been great. I'm still new at everything though, and I am a Zen Buddhist. My hobbies are reading and writing, and (involuntarily) school prodgects. sweatdrop I'll do my best.

Hello! I am Tee, but Mondkindes works for here, I'm a 22 year old college student in the US. I was a member of this guild way back when Vinyacuwen first started it up, I grew a little tired of Gaia and have been gone for quite a while though; it's awesome to see the guild is still around.
I've been practicing Buddhism for about two years now; I was first introduced to it when a friend started studying it, her comments piqued my interest; I immediately felt at home with the teachings of Buddhism, and from just that first day I knew Buddhism was for me. I haven't really settled in any school yet, though I find myself drawn to Theravada.
Anyway, I just thought I'd do the polite thing and say hello!

HI blaugh ! My name is Roberto, I live in Mexico and i found out that cathilizism would not develop my mind and spirit as i would like to, so I was without any believes for a while until my dad told me about this. Now I found that Zen is awesome! I have found peace with buddhism, I can do many things I couldn't do before due my temper. Now, I mixed Zen with Toltequity and I am growing better. Thanks for listening (reading) blaugh

Hello I am John, I am 19 years old, and I am from South Bend, In. I now go to Purdue University, Boiler Up xd , and studying in the liberal arts area. I used to take TKD and now I take Eagle Claw Kung Fu. I grew up in a christian family and I never quite felt right with it. Exspecially after the pastor made disfavorable remarks about other religions while giving a sermon. I was pretty much religionless but still looked at philosphy. I then was interested in martial arts again, thanks to Bruce Lee's philosophy teachings, and was looking into areas bedore I came to Purdue and found the kung fu that I do now. Also for the first semester I took Eastern Religions course in philosophy. That is where I become really interested in Buddhism and wanted to become a Buddhist. Well now its me second semester as a Freshman and I am happy with the A I got in Eastern Religions , but I am busy and don't have too much time to study it further. This is why I joined here so that I could go deeper into my studies of Buddhism from other Buddhist while still being able to do my schoolwork. I am interested in Zen Buddhism specifically, didn't see the martial artist being interested in Zen did ya blaugh , and I would like to take it to another level. Well thats me I guess, hope to have fun on here talking to you guys whee .

My real name is Kenyatta Gaines and I am 19 years old. I'm not a Buddhist but a follower Shree. Instead of Buddhism I follow what is called the Five Fold Path (if u don't know what that is go here: Five Fold Path and scroll to the bottom). Nonetheless, I am very interested in learning more on Buddhism and I'm glad to be a member.

My name is Maggie and I'm a seventeen year old senior in high school. I was raised Catholic and still am forced to attend weekly CCD classes. In the spring I am supposed to get confirmed. While I've stated quite openly that I don't want to be confirmed my parents have told me I should. If anything to not break my grandparent's hearts. I still have yet to make up my mind if I'll go through with the empty actions or not. I'm currently free of religion and living off my own theories. Two of my closer friend are Zen and have encouraged me to learn more about Buddhism, and the more I research the more interested in it I become... so here I am, just looking for more information.

Well, I'll try and follow suit with the others...
As far as names go, Gene is fine. I love music and art in all forms, and I focus mainly on the Mahayana sect. Past? I was raised in New England with a loosely Catholic mother. Fasinated by religion, or perhaps more by piety, but slowly broke away from Christianity in all forms. Grade 5 or 6, I was first exposed to Buddhism. The more I read... I don't know, every word was like... explosive joy. sweatdrop Nothing has ever seemed more true in my life, yet as obvious as something I've been tripping over every day.
This is probably too late, so he may never see it, but Duncan_Idaho: I am nearly bilingual, so if I can ever be of assistance, please let me know.
