[A]shriel"Hm...that would explain a lot." Ashriel said softly, turning on the heat under the pot. She stirred the soup, looking over at Raevyn. "Why did they chase you?" Her voice was thoughtful, as if she was trying to think of the answer to a difficult question. Hm...wow.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Why? Same reason dogs chase cats - Cause they think it's fun and exciting." Raevyn explained scornfully. "I was merely something new and amusing to chase in this new town. There was no real reason behind it. The stupid pack was just out and about, looking for something to do."  The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shriel"Oh. Hey- you do like cream of mushroom soup, right?" Ashriel asked, as the soup was finished. She blushed for not having asked sooner, and she was currently getting down the bowls. Um, please say yes.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn wrinkled his muzzle in response. "I'll eat it." He told her. "I've had worse." It was clear it wasn't a favorite of his. But considering some of the things he'd eaten, he'd gladly take the fresh soup. It was better than other things he could have been stuck eating. The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shriel"Sorry I don't have much." Ashriel told him quietly. "I might be a straight-A student, but I stink when it comes to financial matters." She poured the soup into two bowls, setting one on the table for him. Getting herself a spoon, she sat down and began eating her soup. "I haven't found a job that will pay enough to support me with food that costs any more. Or a better apartment, or anything like that. I guess I was probably the worst person to have found you, huh?" So I don't have much.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn flicked his tail in a shrug. "Hey. You found me and cared for me rather than just letting the stray cat die. That's all I really need. I'm quite able to look after myself for the most part." He leaped to the table and began lapping at the soup. "Anything else I need, I just as Mama Bear. Speaking of which, I'm gonna need to get back soon, at least so they know I'm not dead and don't give away my room."
((Excuse me while I snitch ideas and concepts from books......)) The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shriel"I-if you w-want...I could take you back there. I know you don't like being carried too much...but..." Ashriel continued eating, flushed. "It appears as if it is still going to be a couple of days before you'll be fully healed." She noticed the quick healing rate- but even as fast as it was, it appeared as he still had enough that it may take a day or two. Nya~ I sort of want to help...

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced up at Ashriel and nodded. "If you let me sit on your shoulder, it's not so bad. I can handle that. But I do need to get back there sometime today or tomorrow." He bent his head back down and continued lapping at the soup. "Just a warning though, people may just call her Momma Bear as a nickname, but it's not. She is a mother and she is a bear." He told her calmly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn lapped at his soup for a moment, then sat up, wiping a paw over his muzzle. He glanced at Ashriel curiously. "And why are you so eager to help me? I just told you we'd be going into a house that is run by a family of bears." It bothered him slightly, just how well Ashriel was taking everything. The last human he knew to find out about his world had freaked out and been sent to a mental hospital. The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shriel"Well, my friend have always said I'm slightly insane...so I'm guessing that's why. Besides...I just want to. What? Is it a bad thing for a person to want to do a good deed?" Ashriel grinned as she looked at him, finishing off her soup. Her eyes were bright with that determination she had when there was a debate going on in class- her side usually won those, do to the fact that people got tired out by Ash's rebuttals -or when she decided she was going to get the top grade in the class. Before, her friends had remarked that Ashriel got slightly scary when she was determined to do something, because nothing, nothing, could stop her. I may be slightly insane.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just watched her for a moment, paw halfway raised. Finally, he spoke. "You're more than just slightly insane. You're completely crazy." He told her flatly, the twitched his whiskers and grinned. "Perfect for what I need right now." He rose and padded to the edge of the table. "I'm done. I don't usually eat too much as a cat. I only ate that much pizza because I was working some major healing. And that takes massive amounts of energy." The bowl of soup was only half empty. Like he'd said, he hadn't eaten much. The tiger that should be....isn't....

She poured the left over soup into a Tupperware contained, not wanting to waste any. After she had stored away the leftovers, she stashed the dish in the dishwasher and looked at him. "Well, you ready?" Yeah, I'm completely insane...does it matter?

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "Maybe you do belong in a mental institution, but if you were there, I couldn't use you." He said with a laugh, jumping to the counter. From there he jumped up to her shoulder, lying across the back of her neck. He was careful to arrange himself so he wasn't lying on his injured leg. "Okie dokie folkie. Let's get this show on the road." The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shrielAshriel headed out of her apartment building, thinking carefully once she was outside. "You are going to have to give me directions." She said softly, picking a random way to walk so it didn't look like she had no idea where she was going. Nya, perhaps I do belong in one~
