He studdered a second, but stopped as he tried gathering his thoughts. He surpressed his confusion and answered her quietly.
"Ryu."
This was weird. Really weird. Ryu wasn't sure what to make of this situation, and that fact was shown all over his face.

Aire nodded in response. "Hmm... Ryu... Nice name. Very appropriate for your element." She commented, not at all disturbed by the fact that she was talking to one of the Fire Nation. That was when she saw his confusion mask on his face. Tilting her head to the side, she looked at him in slight concern. "You okay there?" She asked.

Ryu thought this question was just as confusing as the situation, so he repeated
"...you're an airbender....I'm a firebender."
Now that the obvious was stated, he shook his head.
"Eh, I mean....."
Ryu paused a moment. He looked around, catching sight of a watertribe girl.
What is going on?

Aire frowned more when he said this again. "... So? What's the big deal? We're all people on the outside." she explained. "The only thing that 'separates' us from each other is the element that we can control... Or not. That's the lesson that the sixth chakra teaches." When she indicated the sixth chakra, she poked Ryu in the forehead.

Ryu blinked and looked away.
"I...didn't think anyone thought that way...that...the war didn't matter."
He scratched the back of his head.
"This is so confusing!"

Aire, thinking that he was saying that what she just said was confusing, decided to elaborate. "Well, let me explain that better." Sitting cross-legged across from him, she began to explain. "The sixth chakra is known as the life chakra, located in the center of the forehead. It deals with insight, and is blocked by illusion. That's why the location is also called the Third Eye. Anyway, an example of an illusion in this world is the illusion of separation. In other words, the four nations. We are all one in the same, so we are all connected. Does that make more sense?"

Ryu stared at her as she spoke and stuttered into a response.
"No....I mean... With the....war. I know about..."
He pointed to where Aire poked him on the forehead. Most firebenders didn't know about the chakras...His hand fell to his lap as he crossed his legs.
"I always thought the whole world was against the fire nation."
He eyes Aire, still a little shocked.

Aire paused for a moment as he spoke before she smiled a little at him. "A few people aren't." Standing up in the saddle, she held her staff as she looked between Ryu and the sky. "Someday, I hope to be a chakra guru, so I can pass on my teachings to others who really need it. Or just to people who share the same passion as I. Like my previous teacher, and the one before him. Ironically, that line descends directly from the very master who taught Avatar Aang." Shaking her head a bit, she chuckled as she rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment. "Oh, but listen to me rambling. You must be sick of it by now, I would imagine."

Feu finished up her shift and changed back into her normal clothes and pulled on some older prep gloves that looked like they where part of her outfit. She walked out and sat across from Kurai "Do you mind if I stay with you for a while. I have not been able to speak with anyone in the same Mind set for a while"
