She just stared at him with a stupefied look as she tried to picture one of these things. Her image was waaay of from what he was explaining, but yet she still had that vague feeling that she knew the alien species. Perhaps she was just confusing one thing for another.
"oooh.........Do you..want paper and pencil? Because I think I might have a different image in my head" she said quickly, trying to stray away from his obvious discomfort in mentioning taking his shirt off

"That-would be helpful, yes." he was quick to respond to that. God, thinking before speaking would be good to use more often.

She nodded and wasted no time on wishing she had paper and pencil.

On the other side of the island, a dark figure had finally sat down at a rock with it's only piece of paper left and it's last good pencil. Right before it was going to draw a map, the items disappeared from it's grasp. There was soon a lot of cursing in an odd language spouting from it's mouth

Within seconds of her thought, a piece of paper and a pencil appeared in front of her. She pushed them forward and smiled

"Ah. Thank you." He got to work, not the best sketcher or very good, but was able to get the anatomy across. He mumbled as he added details, "Tentacles here...antennae...claws...hip-things... No one knows what it looks like under their tentacles, and they can't speak any human languages..."

She leaned over on her paws to see what he was working on. As he muttered, she was very surprised to that she was completely off with her image, but still just as fascinated.
As she stared at it, she started to see how familiar they became to her. "You know what Wikus....I think I've seen on before" she said rather perplexed

"Mm-hm." Wikus continued sketching, slowed, stopped. "Wait." He looked up at her with brows furrowed. "What?"

She pointed to the sketch with a claw. "I've seen these before. I told you I might have didn't I" she said tilting her head and taking her paw away from the paper

Did she? Wikus couldn't remember very well. "Maybe." he admitted. He wanted to know where she could have seen them. Had she been in Johannesburg? Space? But Wikus doubted that there would be an answer. "They aren't particularly intellegent creatures, though." he added, not sure it'd be easy to continue the topic about her remembering the prawns.

"Hmm?" she said tilting her head. "Not very bright? I remember them as such. OOH!! Wait! I remember where I saw one." she said as she walked over to the map of the island. "I think I saw him..in this forest right here." she said moving her paw creating an imaginary circle on the south side of the island. "He didn't quite look like that though...but it was a long time ago, so..........." she trailed off as she looked back to wikus

That would be a strange place to find a prawn... Unless it somehow escaped so far, or was something else entirely. Hm. "How long ago?" In fact, how old was Inibi? Wikus wondered this for the first time. Sci-fi movies from when he was a child could have aliens who were incredibly old but not aged much.

"How long ago?" she restated, more so just for her. She pondered and scratched her head. "Well...I think it was maybe a few months ago at best" she stated, not entirely sure with her answer. "Why?"

"Hm. That doesn't seem possible." How could a prawn be on an island? Closer to here than there, if that was what the 'island' was. They were kept in something like a concentration camp for Chrissake! "But maybe..." Prawns had rioted and escaped before, and there was always the alien-rights groups who liked being a nuisance.

She really had no clue as to what he was going on about. But she listened all the same. "Concentration camp?" she pondered out loud. There were a lot of human terms she didn't understand beyond the obvious definition. In this case she was thinking a bunch of Prawns decided to camp in a concentrated group...but that couldn't have been correct
