That's when I noticed a purple-haired girl standing at the gates. I walk up and I smile, "Strata Academy isn't as intimidating once you get used to it. I take it you're new around here?"

I gasped startled as someone spoke to me. Quickly I turned to face him as he said something about the school not being intimidating. I smiled a bit nervously. Was it that obvious? I nodded. "Yes, I'm new. Is it that easy to tell?" I responded.

I smiled, "You seemed out of place like I was when I first entered here."
That's when I held out my hand and smiled, "Hi, my name's Akira Kido. Second-year student at Strata Academy." That's when I asked, "And you are?"

He smiled at me and offered me his hand. I smiled a little a shook his hand. "I'm Hotaru Tomoe." I said introducing myself.

I studied her face and with a puzzled face I asked, "You look familiar... We haven't met before, have we?"

He smiled again and then asked if we'd met before. I looked at him for a long moment before shaking my head. "I don't think so." I answered. I can't imagine what would give him the idea that we'd seen each other before. "And if we have it might have been a passing glance." I offered.

I sighed, remembering that this was a special day for me, "Oh. Sorry. I thought that you were actually the person that saved my life twice, Hotaru... But then again you might have heard of her. You two look awfully similar, though I might be a little crazy in thinking that."

"Saved your life?" I heard myself repeat surprised. I laughed a bit nervously. "I might have heard about her. But I doubt it." I responded. "Do you know her name?" I asked.

I lightly smiled, "I know her name. The one who saved my life twice is the Sailor Senshi of Death and Rebirth. Of course, everyone knows her as Sailor Saturn. She even knew my name. Out of all the Outer Senshi, she's my favorite. Pluto and Neptune are tied at second place," then, I chuckled, "Uranus is at last place in my rankings." That's when I sighed, "Unfortunately for her, the fan club of hers that I run here only has a few intelligent fans including myself."

I felt a prickle of fear and panic on the back of my neck. "Sailor Saturn." I repeated then laughed a little. "Well I can assure you that I'm nowhere near being a Sailor Senshi." I smiled then turned my attention on the school. "Shouldn't we be going in?" I asked.

At his question I stuffed my hand into my bag and produced a peice of paper. "This?" I asked handing it over to him. As I watched him I realized how familiar he actually was.

I took Hotaru's schedule and had a good look at it.
I smiled, "You're one lucky girl, Hotaru. My fangirls would probably kill you if they knew you have the same classes as I did. You want to help people when you're older? My dream is to become a doctor and to be known not just as Mr. Popularity, but someone who helps people because they care. I'll protect you, Hotaru, don't worry about it. I won't let anything bad happen to you in Strata Academy." I held out my hand and I smiled nonchalantly, "Something tells me this is the start of an interesting friendship."

I laughed a bit at the comment. "You have a lot of fangirls?" I asked. I raised an eyebrow at the comment. "You'll protect me? It is dangerous here?" I asked feeling a bit stupid after I said it. If Michiru knew that this was dangerous she'd flip and pull me out faster than anyone could blink.

I said, "Yes, unfortunately, I do, Hotaru. I'm the captain of Strata Academy's glaive team, and the captain of the soccer team. As for Strata Academy being dangerous? It's not that dangerous when you have the right friends to protect you." I looked at the gate and I smiled, "If there's anything Saturn has taught me, it's this: You have to protect the people that mean a lot to you. And my friends mean more to me than anything. And I'll do almost everything to protect them. Heck, I'd even want to become a knight to protect them!"
