Cassandra Skye was part of a large family, being the oldest of Jeremy and Daniella Skye’s six children. Cassandra was raised to be independent and resourceful, and learned to take care of herself properly at a remarkably young age. When she was fifteen, her mother became pregnant yet again, and the family doctor announced that the child would be a boy. Unfortunately, the happy news would turn out to be the start of the family’s troubles. Jeremy Skye was a hopeless gambler, and had gotten himself involved with a family of criminals over the years in an effort to repay his gambling debts. Because of the family’s large size, Jeremy’s debts to the family went unpaid for a long time. Too long, as it turned out. The crime family’s threats and intimidation did nothing to extort money from Jeremy Skye, and in their desperation, they turned to target that which he held most dear: his family. In the final weeks of Daniella’s pregnancy, Cassandra was rushed to tend to a relative who was gravely ill in the countryside and was out of touch with her family. The family was held prisoner within their own home while Cassandra was away. Her twin sister, Natascha, being the oldest, was target first during Cassandra’s absence. Natascha was beaten until her lovely face was twisted and deformed, and forced into prostitution in an effort to pay off her father’s debts. She was killed by a client who was unwilling to pay such high prices for her services, and her body was left to rot in a corner of the family’s house. Cassandra’s second-oldest sister, Rebecca, was considered the fortunate one, being blind. She was killed on the spot, and her body was forgotten with Natascha’s. Victoria was given opiates and died of overdose within a week. Olivia, at age nine, was taken and sold to a brothel. What became of her remains unknown. Only the youngest of Cassandra’s five sisters was spared. Emmaline, at the age of five, was adopted by the crime family and treated as one of their own. Sadly, her name was changed and she simply vanished. Cassandra arrived back home on the day her mother was supposed to give birth, and had to assist in birthing her newborn brother as soon as she walked through the door. Once the excitement caused by James’ birth had passed, Cassandra noticed the tragedy that had befallen her beloved family. Three of her sisters’ bodies lay decomposing on the filthy floor of the house, which was beginning to fall into a state of disrepair. Two of her sisters were missing, and no one would tell her their whereabouts. The family’s happiness was marred when the criminal family head decided that Jeremy Skye’s debts would never be repaid at the rate they were going. There was only one thing left to do. Daniella Sky was beaten and tortured before she was decapitated by two of the criminals. Jeremy Skye died of a broken heart within the hour. Cassandra fought valiantly, knowing that their next target would be her baby brother, but her efforts were no match for the trained killers. The baby was taken from her, and she was forced to watch as he was brutally beaten and beheaded. Cassandra herself was beaten, tortured, and left for dead in the foyer of the home that she had happily shared with her family over the years. What had always been was now gone forever. She awoke to find the baby James’ head mounted on a post in the middle of their yard, his eyes having been picked out by carnivorous birds. The sight of what had become of her baby brother was what drove Cassandra out of her mind. She became sadistic, killing small animals for pleasure, developing affinities for blood and pain, and a deep hatred towards most men. Her insanity progressed until killing animals wasn’t enough and the other residents of the small town feared that she would target people to satisfy her lust to kill. She was committed to an insane asylum to protect the people around her at age sixteen, where she waited and plotted for two years. The family that had killed her own was shocked to learn that Cassandra Skye was being held in a psychiatric hospital, and forged a court document demanding her immediate release. Upon her release, she was taken to the family head, which offered her a job as an assassin. He, the rest of the crime family, and anyone associated with the family were dead before the clock struck midnight. The small town was abandoned, fearing that Cassandra Skye would return and go on a murderous rampage, slaughtering everything and anything in her path. Everything that had transpired there was never spoken of again, and the bloodshed inflicted on the Skye family was forgotten by most after the passage of a lengthy amount of time. But Cassandra Marie Skye hasn’t forgotten. She kills freely, under the guise of the Compassionate Lady Dismantler. The world is going to suffer the way Cassandra Skye has suffered.
