Angel_Nyx I find it incredible that you are all ignoring all of the verses prior to and after Lev. 18:22 where God describes other sexual sins (such as incest and beastiality) and also child sacrifices to the pagan god Molech. These are also part of part of ceremonial law, but does this mean that they should be ignored or that they are no longer considered sinful? What about in chapter 19 when it talks about gossiping, or not insulting the deaf or causing the blind to stumble, or cheating? Those are also in ceremonial law, I don't believe that's what Paul meant we should discard from the Old Testament. Just a question. Do you eat shrimp? Or pork? Or wear clothes of two different fabrics? Because these are all condemned in ceremonial law.

So let it all go becuase the Law is gone! w00t! Not the case, as it says in Acts 15, (in referance to the Judaizers) "you should have no need to keep these thing except for eating food sacraficed to idols, eating animals cooked in their mothers milk (if I remember right) and sexual immoraity." It's not an exact quote but thats the gist of it.

I almost coughed when i read that someone thinks homosexuality shouldn't be condemned, because it's love. Ha! It's not love, it's an abomination of love! A mockery! Gays aren't in love, they're in lust, and wrongful relationships. I believe God designed Men to be with women and women to be with men, not for men to be with men, and women to be with women. Someone explain to me how homosexuality is love.

Gays aren't in love, they're in lust, and wrongful relationships. I believe God designed Men to be with women and women to be with men, not for men to be with men, and women to be with women. Someone explain to me how homosexuality is love. EXACTLY I mean come on, it is jsut common sense. Why would God make a women if there wasw no need for one. God made Adam a "Companion" to keep him not only company but to procreate. If God ment for man to ever have homo sexual relations why wasnt his companion a male? Or think of physics, why can't two negatives go together? Or two positives? every thing has a natural balance.

Just respect each other.

And it was not an attack, yiou may have felt that they were attacks due to your personal opinions, If this is the case then yous hould not debate because if you hold your opinions to the point where you get upset about them, then there is no room for a good argument and Luthos, yes he did sound a little condeming but he wasn't because the fact that he was just being blunt and to the point. Could he have worded it beter? yes, but I still agreed with his argument so thats why i said exactly. And I really did nothing to even deserve to be threatened with a ban. And yes i showed My pastor what i wrote and she even said it was not condeming and what you wrote wasnt exactly handling things with God's love. Remember to handle things with love. To deny a Brother acces to fellow Brothers and sisters no matter how wrong you feel they are is not right. Also it isnt up to you to say who I have disrespected. If anything, the guild has moved more to toward ecumenicalism than secularism. That's beside the point, though. Spartan and Luthos have been using rhetoric that is, frankly, inflammatory and whose purpose is not to correct, rebuke or encourage, but instead to mock and degrade homosexuals and anyone that doesn't agree with their (S&L's) interpretation of the bible. In this guild, we try to maintain a certain level of respect for everybody, no exceptions. Grayed was well within her rights as a moderator to tell Spartan and Luthos to tone down their responses and show a little respect for the opinions of others. You cited Matthew 18:15-17; tell me, would you say that Messieurs Spartan and Luthos have been either loving or respectful in this thread? The answer, I think, is no. I am a new member and so far i have been reading over some of the messages and i have been getting the fealing that a lot of people feel that homosexuality is an unforgivable sin. i have heard one preson say that "love" between 2 gay people is not real love but lust. but i have a confession. i am not only a christian but i am gay myself. I have a girlfriend and she is christian! We do not do anything you would call "lustful". We may hold hands on occasion and yes we do kiss but we are still christians. It even says in the bible that the only sin that can not be forgiven is not believing that Christ is the saivor. Well...that is what my church teaches. If you went and killed someone God would still forgive you. So why do you think it so horrible that girls will be with girls? Or men with men??? i may be crossing the line on this guild i dont know but i need my voice to be heard. there is much more that i wish to say but if i did this post would be about three miles long. so i am going to end with these words:You can judge me for my life choices and every thing i ever do. it is not your judgement that matters to me. the only judgement i care about is Gods.
