Syaoran-Puu Intrigued by his actions she obeyed and looked up, her mouth hung open. A rainbow. They had promised each other that they would one day fly to see what was at the end of a rainbow -but first they need to fly. Something they were working on although it was a little slower than she would have liked, yet there was no one else she would rather learn with, at least Sonnet didn't just seem to beat her at every stage without even appearing to have tried like Io, he struggled just like she did. And she liked that. Not that he struggled but that in some small way they where the same. She could only hope her father was right and that those who were slower to learn often turned out to be the best. Smiling again, and all too aware that she had become lost in her thoughts she eventually spoke, "Beautiful." He eyes lingered on the purple. That was Sonnets colour. The colour of royalty and spirituality, it was the opposite to the cool blue that lingered upon her ankles. purple reminded her of lavender, orchids and mystery. That was Sonnet - her personal mystery.
Looking back to him she felt a happiness once again flutter in her heart, but had no idea what it meant. Below the waterfal was a small pond, just big enough for three youths -she and her sibblings had explored a lot as children- and so as she started towards it and jumped in, she knew that if he followed there would be more than enough room.

Sonnet watched her, smiling, even more sure that he was going to get her a rainbow one day. Giving a small nod as this became a determind thought. Following her down and into the water, wading in, though not swimming yet. Not havign been in water like this before, taking his time to get used to it before diving under the surface only to appear near by.

Syaoran-Puu As Sonnet dived under the water all Chandra would see was a streak of purple flash under the surface as it came closer, until the welcoming face of Sonnet appeared beside her, giving him a big grin she tugged at his mane and jokingly said, "Ew... you are all wet now." A small giggle escaped with her words.

Sonnet gave her a sheepish smile, his insides feeling funny again as she giggles and pulls on hi mane. Starting to associate that as one of her signs of affection. Afterall it didn't hurt, and he liked how it brought her close to him, though it probably didn't look as friendly as it felt. "Your not exactly dry m'lady."

Syaoran-Puu She raised an eye brow playfully at him calling her 'm'lady' it really did remind her of a royal. "Well.... sir." She said giving him a big grin before she flicked her tail causing a wave of water to splash into his side. "There is no one else I would rather be wet with." She giggled a little and flicked her tail to splash him again. Playing with Sonnet felt.... right.

He chuckled and flicked his wings, splashing her back, afterall she was dryer than he was. "Likewise." Laughing as the splash fight ensued, both ending up soaking, not that they were very dry after running into the pond. Chan was always fun, her or ivory, they were the two best people to play with, though ivory didn't make him feel funny inside like chan.

Syaoran-Puu As he started to retailiate she found herself jumping away and then closer again, splashing him with her wings, or her tail, while every now and then being forced to turn her head away to try and protect her face. Despite her effords by the end they where both equally soaking, it was a good job it was a nice day so at least they wouldn't be wet for long once they were under the sun again.
Starting towards the egde she turned back to Sonnet simply to say, "You win." A smile and a giggle, and then she was walking onto the firm land of the bank once more. The sun shone brillantly in the clearing, heat and beauty combined.

"I say its a draw." Following her out of the water, both dripping wet, but it had been fun. Grinning brightly as he waded out and had a shake to get the worst of the water off. Stretching all his wings in turn, checking for lost feathers. "We should find somewhere we can lay and spread our wings out to dry..."

Syaoran-Puu Copying him she shook her entire body from head to hoof, including her wings. She quickly checked her wings for ruffled or damaged feathers but was satisified that there was nothing obvious before she trotted over to him with a smile. "Lead the way m'Lord." She winked at him but made no move to lead.

Blushing, feeling uncomfortable when she called him lord, shaking his head. "I am nothing special, just a builders son, unlike you m'lady." Giving her a soft nuzzle before turning and walking towards where he knew some grassy fields were that they could dry off on.

Syaoran-Puu That caused her to stop before she even started, his nuzzle and tone told her that he meant that, but she wouldn't believe it. she couldn't. Surely he thought more of himself? Even if he was just the son a builder it mattered not- she herself was nothing special, she had not earn any title like her parents. After all they where the ones who where Guardian and Alpha -not her. Catching her breath she could him up and followed him, knowning they where headed to the fields nearby. For a moment she remained silent until finally she couldn't. "Sonnet." She stopped and looked at him before lowering her head a little, "I am nothing special. I haven't done anything special to earn a title. And it doesn't matter who your parents are. Respect is earned not given." Taking a step closer to him she looked at him with a deep sadness hidden within her eyes. "Please don't think so little of yourself, I am sure your Dad wouldn't want that." Each job worked together, each person played a role, everyone was important for everything to come together - for everything to work. It was a jig-saw puzzle, and you just needed to figure out what your part of it was. "Plus," she started, grinning once more and sticking her tongue out at him, "If I want to you call you m'Lord I will."

Stopping and looking at her, listening quietly, smiling at the end when she stuck her tongue out at him. Not knowing his history or anything that would answer some of the questions he had. Nuzzling her again and giving her a smile. "I know such things are earnt... but I have yet to earn anything, but I want to." Not sure how to do such a thing but one day he wanted the confidence to earn respect.

Syaoran-Puu "I was more on about me when I said that." She said, tilting her, "You call me M'lady like I deserve it, when in truth I don't." Seeing that there was a longing deep behind his eyes, a sort of great need to discover himself she added, "You will. If I can I will help." She chirped, smiling at him and nuzzling him back gently.

Sonnet shakes his head smiling softly. "I call you M'lady because I think you are special. I... want to treat you as special because of that...." Blushing again feeling like his hear had lodged in his throught. "I.. don't know how else to show you that..."

Syaoran-Puu Chandra was uttlerly taken aback by his words, a bright pink blush covering her cheeks. She nipped his mane and then spread her wings out lazily to allow them to dry more easily. She was stunned into silence, but after a while she said, "I think you are special too Sonnet. And one day you will show everyone just how special you are." She smiled to him, although she wanted to be respected like her father she knew her path would be different. She had no intention in learning to fight beyond the basics, especially since Io was first in line to take over as the alpha of the herd. She wanted to be gentle, a healer, a midwife perhaps. To bring and give life rather than to take it away. But would anyone ever acknowlegde her for that?
