 AquaLaurent Konoha Genin l Weapon Master l Student of the 5 Elements l Chakra: 27 l Stamina: 28 Aqua listened to the Hokage's teachings. Her explanation of the Raiton element seemed similar to that of the Katon element. Both were extremely dangerous elements when wielded improperly. They were the two offensive elements and Aqua would only use them if backed against a corner. She did not wish any harm on anyone and only walked the path of ninja to protect those she cared for. After hearing the explanation, Aqua stood in front of the lamp in order to begin. (1/5)
Aqua closed her eyes, walking into the realms of her mind. She stood in the darkness, staring straight at the dark version of herself. This shadow being was in fact Aqua's own image of the demon inside of her. "The Raiton element please," she asked politely as the demon looked at her with utter disgust. The tail dissipated, and in its place a new tail sprouted. The demon now surged with a yellowish tinge, sparks illuminating the darkness. (2/5)
Aqua opened her eyes once more after switching her main elements. Looking at the Hokage briefly, her eyes changed once again. Of course this was no surprise, having done this twice now. "The Raiton element, sending the chakra through the air in order to create an electrical current. A flailing ball of energy should be my focus," she reiterated as she held her hand out. The chakra in her hand began to pulsate, sparks exploding out of her eyes as a ball of chakra began pulsating within her hands. (3/5)
Aqua's chakra began extending throughout the air. Holding her arm out, the ball of chakra began to hover away from her hand, pulsating sparks out of the ball. Sweat poured down her brow from the amount of focus and concentration. Raiton was just as dangerous as Katon, one miscalculation, one unfocused moment could mean injury to either her or the Hokage. The ball now slammed against the plug of the lamp, sending an electric current through the cord. (4/5)
The electric current ran through the cord as the lamp's bulb. The light immediately sparked to life as Aqua continued fueling her chakra through the lamp. "Done..." she muttered, still trying to focus upon the lamp. After several moments, Kairi dropped her arm and ceased the flow of chakra. The light flickered off as she looked back at the Hokage with the same yellow tinged eyes. "That was more difficult than I thought it would be," she sighed as she took a deep breath. Only one more element...one more and she would immediately pass out afterwards she was so tired.
No one is ever truly gone from this world...they will forever live on in our hearts

"To face the monsters in the darkness..." 
Ronnel entered the hospital just before the night shift came on watch. He waited as the staff clocked out and the next group came on, then immediately presented himself to the head nurse at the call desk. The woman stared at him suspiciously, confusing the Genin. Then he realized he still didn't have a hitai-ate yet, as he was going to be asking the Hokage about it after completing his missions... and at this point, after sleeping some. But that still left him with a problem - he had a mission to do, but couldn't convince the woman that he was actually supposed to be here.
Then he remembered what was in his pouch. With a snap of his fingers and an apologetic smile, the teen shinobi pulled the slip of paper that the Hokage had given him earlier, the one with her seal etched upon it, from his hip-pouch. He handed this to the woman, who took it, her body language relaxing as she studied the emblem. After a minute, the woman gave the teen a mollified look and pulled out a clipboard, flipping through the pages with one hand. Then she pulled an information sheet from the clipboard, and handed it and the paper to Ronnel.
"... you've got to drag them kicking and screaming into the light."

Ronnel studied the patient chart that the woman had handed him and blinked as he examined it. The patient in question was apparently cantankerous, and difficult for the normal staff to handle. That explained why they were happy to give it over to him - if he gave up he would fail his mission, but if he could persevere through it then they wouldn't have to deal with the man for at least one more day. He sighed and looked down to the end of the chart to see what the patient's problem was.
The man was complaining of aching in his bones. That was the only statement that the page made. Ron blinked a few times and sighed - he would have to find out more from the patient directly in that case. He checked to see the room number, memorizing it, then closed the patient folder and tucked it into his backpack. After slinging the pack up into its place, the teen strode down the hall, pausing at points to reference the way he was supposed to go by looking at the placards on the walls.
