User Image Name :: Xydlec
Age :: Forever stuck at an early seventeen.
Gender :: Male.
Alignment :: Completely neutral. He doesn't care about anyone's sides and operates under a goal of self-preservation.
Homeworld :: Unknown.
Class :: Undefined.
Abilities ::
Sound manipulation - As a Nobody, Xydlec's element is sound. Offensively his power primarily focuses on sonic blasts and earthquake-like tremors. Beyond that, he can create any sound he wants, making him a rather effective one-man band.
Song - Partly as a holdover from his Other and partly as a facet of his element, Xydlec's voice is extraordinary. He loves to sing, and the raw power he possesses puts many human musicians to shame. There's an often enticing quality to his voice, as if he embodies a modern-day siren. He can dip into any range, although he is restricted by his gender somewhat. His uses his voice to augment his other abilities, and with enough concentration can even conjure some pseudo-hypnotic qualities to it; inducing sleep and nudging ... feelings.
Percussion - Xydlec can mimic other instruments, but what he can actually play are drums, or more often, anything that can pass for a drum since he only possesses drumsticks. He can't remember how to read music, but he can copy anything by ear and is equally talented at it as he is with singing.
Hearing - Xydlec's hearing is well above average, and he claims to be able to identify people by their inner 'song.'

Weapons :: A pair of red drumsticks. He's named the right one Breakdown and the left one Bourbon Street, and says they're the names of his favorite clubs when asked.
Appearance :: Xydlec stands somewhere between 5"5 and 5"6- difficult to tell because of his terrible posture. It's rather unimpressive, considering his age and gender, and his body type continues with that theme: he's slim and somewhat bony, lacking any musculature at all. His skin tone is warm but pale, a sort of subtle olive too light to be considered tan. A pointed chin, high and sharp cheekbones, and angular green eyes give him a decidedly catlike appearance. His hair is amber-brown in color, and he's irregularly dyed the tips dark red. It's shoulder-length and constantly tousled, adding to his rakish looks.
Personality :: Xydlec is a wild card. He will play any role needed [or unneeded] at the time, and his actions are suitably unpredictable. He can go from villain to hero to spectator for no other reason than amusement. The Nobody resembles a cat and acts like one as well: indolent, enigmatic, selfish, self-satisfied and always on the hunt. He's possibly the most cynical creature you'll ever meet, but he's a laughing cynic, always mocking, teasing, baiting; and a smirk is rarely seen to leave his lips. Even when he's in the worst possible situation, he'll still try to run his mouth. However, his smart-a** remarks and deceptively lazy attitude mask a cunning mind.
Xydlec is not a nice person, but he has his own code of morals [which seems rather baffling in light of the rest of his actions]. He will never tell a lie, and has been known to preform random acts of kindness, seemingly on whim. He strictly believes in keeping a personal status quo with others, and always repays his debts- good or bad.

History :: Not long ago there was a boy named Clyde who, at the age of only fifteen, joined a band his older cousin was trying to start with two of her friends. Despite being the "baby" of the group, he was a talented drummer and singer. Working hard together, the four of them formed Clockwork Hearts. They started at garage-band status but quickly rose through the ranks, and by the time Clyde was sixteen they'd been signed on with a real label. Fame, fortune, adoration- they had it all. A Heartless attack changed that. Clyde lost his heart just a little while after turning seventeen, and his Nobody was born. He was guided early on by an older Nobody girl named Xyrla who made him aware of his origins and told him how to choose a name, but they parted ways after that. These days Xydlec world-hops, chasing stages and picking fights with Heartless for the hell of it.
Theme songs ::
27 - Fall Out Boy
Blood Sugar - Pendulum
Hello Alone - Anberlin
Disaster Button - Snow Patrol
City Traffic Puzzle - The Hush Sound
Miscellaneous :: What Xydlec wants more than anything is a heart, but he wouldn't want to join with his Other even if it was possible. He wants to be his own person, but whole. His inability to feel more than echoes from his Other is highly frustrating to him.
If something strikes a chord in his memories, he can sometimes revert to Clyde's persona, but his time spent on the boundaries of his identity are usually brief before he regains control.
