Shadow Crona I still think Crona-san is a boy. Sides he would make a better boy--there is only room for one flat chested female in an anime and that is maka-san. Wouldn't it be akword considering ragnorock seems like a boy...wouldnt it be wrong if crona-san was a girl... It says he, him, those guys in sub and dub....though in the manga it says she dosn't it? I respect both opions but I think crona-san is a male. My friend calls crona an 'it' Plus why would he lift makas skirt...tehe.... Also if crona-sanw as girl then all those MakaxCrona videos on youtube would be calling maka gay. She's not gay D: im gonna have to agree with you on that one... course on fanfic theyve got other ideas...

Chrona is a girl. In the original japanese manga she uses that grammer of a girl and was originally suposed to be Medusa's daughter. They mistranslated it when they changed it to english. The anime got mistranslated of of the anime so it all went further off of the truth the further the series went. I am an huge fan...almost an otaku!...I did my research.

I agree...At first, I thought Crona was TOTALLY a girl. Then they started saying "he" and a bunch of stuff then I got all confused....lol

I was pretty sure that Crona was a boy when he was first introduced then when Medusa who is his mother said he was her son it was like take that none believers

Well
Even though I strongly believe Crona is a girl
Ima have to point out that Crona's gender is Anonymous Meaning no one is right or wrong in thinking he's a boy or a girl since it was never truly mentioned.
And until it does actually come out to the public. It will continue to stay as such. c:

I believe Chrona is an it. But if I had to choose between the two I would say a boy. Those are fan made pictures. They don't prove anything. Plus Chrona could be a cross dresser whee

I have to agree with the cross dresser. Crona is guy. Beside his voice doesn't sound girly. It popular in Japan that guys dress up as girls while girls dress up as males.

In the manga is clearly states she's a girl, but in the anime she's genderless
My own theory as to chrona's gender would conclude chrona is a girl BECAUSE most Meister/Weapon teams are opposite genders aka
1. Soul and Maka
2. Tsubaki & Black Star
3. Kid, Liz and Patty ( Patty and Liz meisters as well?)
4. Killik, Fire and Thunder
Exceptions:
Stein and Spirit ( Death Scythe advantage?)
Ox & Harvor
Excalibur & whoever the hell can put up with him
So in the end thier are exceptions but since the anime clearly made Ragnarok a male ( muscles and voice) the nChrona would have to be a girl. The underlying problem is the exceptions, so does Chrona fall under that? Also is Ragnarok even a gender since he's blood? Even with that theory, it can be tampered to an unconclusive, so just leave it as a mystery lol

Of course he is guy. Normally he doesn't sound that girly in that dress. He may wear dresses. Because I think in Nippon or Japan are okay with people cross dressing.
