Equipment:
-ESO phase shift shielding protects the space station by absorbing most of the damage from energy-based attacks, psionic damage in particular, and a portion of the damage from physical attacks. Shields rapidly regenerate once they have not sustained damage for a brief period of time. The partials in the Eso (ESO meaning: Energy service outfield) are tighter and more bonded to where it is a skin tight shield. The ESO phase Shift shielding also rotates in a circular motion. Energy bases attacks such as explosions or plasma attacks are absorbed and moved around the rotations. While in the rotation the particles that make up the shielding are energy in hatchment, and take in the physical energy attacks and turns it back into shielding.
-The GN Field is a defensive shielding technology developed by Celestial Being, specifically the Fereshte engineering team. At the time, while developing their second generation Gundams, Celestial Being engineers were trying to figure a way to give their Gundams full defensive coverage using condensed particle fields. Through trial and error, they perfected the particle defense system through GNY-004 Gundam Plutone and eventually applied the technology to their Gundams, ships, and mobile armors for combat.
The field is created by concentrating enough GN particles within a local area of space. The GN particles are shaped and focused into a spherical form for full defensive coverage over the unit(s); however, the field itself is not restricted to spherical forms. The field itself can wrap around any shape or size, so long as the necessary amount of particles can form around the surface it was generated/formed over. When the GN particles concentrate enough, the particles become dense enough to resist intense temperatures, physically repel most ballistic weapons, or even stop particle beams.
Relative to the strength of the generated field, it can be weak enough for a ballistic shell to puncture through[1][2] or directly repel and deflect beam weaponry. The strength of the field is reflected by the particle's color intensity. The brighter and thicker the particles over the unit, the stronger the field is.
While the field provides absolute defensive coverage, it can be penetrated by an opposing particle beam that is proportionally stronger than the field. The GN Field maintains a specific particle compression rate to sustain the field and particle beams of a specific strength relative to the field's compression rate can easily eliminate the field.[3][4] In addition, repeated powerful beam attacks on a single section of the field may also cause the section to be penetrated.[5] This suggests that GN Fields suffers cumulative damage/deterioration after each attack if the field cannot replentish the field's particle density fast enough. The biggest weakness of GN Fields, however, are their inability to stop solid-state blades that have been infused with GN particles themselves.[6] GN particle-infused solid-state blades possess the capability to cancel out the defensive properties of the GN Field in the locale of the blade's point of contact and allows the blade to penetrate the opposing GN Field, regardless of field strength. If the point of contact is key to the field's structure, the entire field could potentially collapse and be negated altogether. Besides solid-state blades, other physical objects (most likely also infused with GN particles) are capable to forcing their way past a GN field if enough brute force is applied to the object as well. Eventually Celestial Being engineers also learned to manipulate GN Fields for more offensive purposes. By controlling the formations of the field, it can be used as a focal point to fire more powerful particle beams. By firing behind a focused field, the destructive yield of a beam weapon can be doubled. In addition, the particles can be used as cutting weapons, similar to that of a GN-blades or GN-beam sabers. The particle field can become dense and narrow enough to cut through metal. The overall aspects of the technology was later taken by the Innovators and shared this technology also with the A-Laws to create more formidable adversaries against Celestial Being itself
-Memento Mori partial cannon
The Memento Mori has the destructive yield of a nuclear weapon, and is capable of instantly vaporizing an entire small country off the map. The weapon itself can fire downward to raze any target on Earth (relative to the side of the planet its facing) or upwards into space from where it's stationed. Unlike other particle weaponry that draws power from GN Particles, it draws power from solar energy gathered by the orbital ring, which in itself is a staggering amount of energy. However, Memento Mori has several key flaws that make it a strategic weapon rather than a tactical weapon. Firstly, it can't freely fire at any target below or above its body, and suffers from a limited firing angle (approximately 30-45 degrees from vertical) relative to distance. In fact, the satellite weapon has a blind spot parallel to the orbital ring in which it is unable to attack. The Memento Mori makes up for this by anticipating the movement of enemy targets and firing at the enemy from long-range before the enemy can reach their intended destination. Secondly, the satellite weapon itself is stationary, making it a very vulnerable stand-alone weapon without the protection of an A-Laws battle-fleet. Thirdly, although the Memento Mori is extremely powerful, the weapon itself suffers from a long charge-up time, thus making it unable to fire in rapid succession. In addition, because the Memento Mori is primarily an area bombardment weapon, it is unable to target rapidly moving targets accurately and is extremely ineffective against targets that are either fast or small enough to dodge the particle beam it fires.
It's greatest weakness is its "electromagnetic reasonator", a component critical to firing the Memento Mori. Should the chamber be destroyed or damaged, the Memento Mori's energy systems will overload and will result in a chain reaction explosion; the chamber itself is built under the right side of its hull armor. It's very difficult to destroy and/or penetrate its thickly armored body without superior firepower. In Celestial Being's case, the quickest solution was to use 00 Gundam's Trans-Am Raiser to create an ultra-sized beam saber to cut down the weapon(s). It's unclear how many were intended to be made, but at least 2 were known to be made.
-Ion pulse cannon:
The ion pulse cannon can no just target a specific enemy vessel, the ion pulse cannon can fired a massive circular ion burst that expanded outward from the cannon, disabling everything in its path. Plasma rotors formed a vital part of the weapon, as they were charged prior to each burst of ionized particles. After each shot, the technicians had to allot some time to clean up residual ionized particles in the cannon before firing again. Recharge time is about 3-5 mins.
-A tractor beam
was a modified force field projected from spaceports, planetary bases and starships to help guide vessels to a safe landing. They could also be used to capture enemy ships. The first Death Star was equipped with 768 tractor beam generators, enabling it to pull ships such as the Millennium Falcon with ease.
-turbolaser torrents
The turbo laser was a heavy laser cannon equipped with large banks of capacitors, allowing them to build up and store far more powerful energy bursts than standard cannons. These capacitors gave huge energy bursts to the beam, greatly increasing its power over standard laser cannons. They also helped power the galven coils in the barrels of turbolasers. First, a particle beam was generated in the manner standard of blasters and laser cannons. Then even more power was achieved by guiding this laser cannon particle-beam through another stream of energized Tibanna Gas (besides the one used in generating the initial beam, since laser cannons work on the same principle as blasters) to increase its power. The extra capacitors in a turbolaser that store huge amounts of raw energy then contributed to the beam by energizing it even further as it moved to the turbolaser's barrel. The resulting beam carried roughly three or more times the energy of a standard laser cannon beam.
It then passed through a set of galven coils located in the turbolaser's barrel, even further increasing the beam's power, and allowing it to pierce the defenses of heavily protected targets. Because these weapons required extra time to build up energy for their powerful blasts, they tended to have a slightly slower rate of fire than their weaker brethren (usually around one to two seconds between volleys, depending on the type of turbolaser and what power setting it was on). The risk of overheating was high due to this massive energy buildup, and many turbolaser models were protected with complex cryosystems and a powerful cooling sleeve on the barrel.
-Heavy beam cannon turret
The beam cannon fired a steady red laser beam at a direct target for about two to three seconds and afterwards it would have to take three seconds to recharge. In those few seconds it could do a large amount of damage to any infantry unit. It could also do some minor damage to armored tanks during a battle.
