Jade's fingers drummed against the bar table, her sake now empty. David was the only jinchuuriki in Suna, at the moment that was, and seemed to be a fairly headstrong kid. Hell, he was already teaching another. "We have one, the Ichibi, surprise." Such a demon in the Wind Country, who would've thought? "As to whether or not he'd accept training from you is up to him. While times are changing, I will not force my top shinobi to do anything. The Death Dealer's have yet to even be introduced to my country. That is not to say he'd be smart to say no, but he is a Chuunin already." Jade ordered another round, for everyone, putting it on her tab.

David walked down the street with his hands in his pockets. After leaving the tower, he'd taken to wandering the town and checking out all the new sights and changes that had been made since he'd fallen asleep, and keeping an eye out for anyone he recognized, particularly the kazekage. He still needed his headband, since he hadn't thought it a good idea to try poking around the office to find one while he was there. Nearing the ramen shop, he noticed an oddity. The ramen shop as he recalled, was normally rather busy, being the easiest place in town to just drop buy and grab something to eat. Today though, it looked like not only was it mostly empty, but people weren't going anywhere near it. Deciding to check it out and see what the issue was, and possibly get his first meal since waking up, he turned in that direction, walking right up to the stand.

Unnoticed to him in the shadows, an ANBU went to stop his approach, but was stopped by another. They were talking about the boy, and the question had just arisen as to where he was, letting him through kept everyone happy, right?

Finally close enough to the shop to see what was going on, David found the kazekage, along with two men he didn't recognize, and a bear? Okay, one of the men had to be a circus performer, or rare animal collector, to have a bear in Suna. That just wasn't normal. Not having been stopped by the ANBU to know that these three were having a private discussion, David took a seat at the far end of the bar, giving only a nod towards them in recognition. His business with the kage could wait, and he was beginning to be hungry. Now, where was the cook or waiter? Maybe they were in the back preparing something for those others.

David paused halfway into his seat as Jade called out to him. A business partner? Then, did that make one of them an animal collector after all? But that made little sense. What did Suna have to offer an animal collector? Scorpions? Worms? Deciding to quit speculating and just find out from the source, He nodded, moving to the indicated seat instead and settling in. "Business partner?" He queried, honestly curious and unwilling to go without finding out just what sort of business this was.

David took a pause at that, glancing between Jade, and the now named Ryuji several times. "So?" He asked, blinking several times. What was special about that? So was he, so was Jade, so was pretty much anyone who graduated a ninja academy. What made it special when applied to this guy? Was he particularly good at that aspect of the trade? Maybe he specialized in assassination? And, more importantly perhaps, what did that have to do with him, to where they were apparently talking about him?

David cocked his head to the side as she spoke again. Okay, that made more sense. So the Death Dealers were an organization of some kind. And the representative wanted to show him something? "What sort of things would that be?" He queried, eyes falling on the man himself rather than the kazekage. This could be interesting, if what Jade said about goals was true. Though he had to wonder, if the group wasn't part of Suna, what goal did they have that benefited from putting Suna on top?

David stared at Ryuji entirely bored. The man was throwing things at him? Sure it was fast, but David wasn't exactly unexperienced with fast moving objects. Leaning his head just a tad to the side, he let the bowl fly past him and impact the wall, before turning a bored eye towards it, and back to Ryuji. "I've seen ramen bowls before. Rarely flying, but still." He deadpanned, obviously unimpressed with the tactic.
