this time line and idea wall are made up from pretty much everyone's input. I'm just trying to smooth them over. If I say Tomomi, i mean Taitei, the Espada dude. W/e
Personal back stories of how they survived can be made up by the arrancars themselves. I don't like to presume. I know how mine could have survived, and the only people who have a CHOICE in making them survivors of the purge are the Espada who were around during the Cuchillo arc. Anyway...
-45 Years ago, the Shinigami, after some research and intelligence gathering, came to Hueco Mundo to slaughter all Vasto Lorde class Menos once and for all. Ein Sof (Hebrew for The Infinite) was a Vasto Lorde Class Menos who had whispers and rumors of the purge in a sweeping wave toward where he resided. This ability was seen only in the likes of the Soul King, although nowhere near as powerful. He could rearrange Reishi in any manner he wanted to, really. It was an ability he had as an Adjuches, and spent the time normally used to eat hollows to learn how to remove his mask, while still absorbing other hollowes. When the shinigami drew closer, he broke himself down into mere particles with a consciousness, and waited for the storm to pass. After a sufficient had passed he put himself back together so that he may do his part to repopulate Hueco Mundo with his/her own kind.
Personally, with the way my character looks as an adjuches, if she had been sleeping for several decades, a hollow village may have been built around her, and was overlooked by shinigami. It looked like a stone carving, and had been populated, so it couldnt be alive, right?
Ein Sof located powerful adjuches and Gillian with different masks than the norm. Instead of forcing evolution with his ability directly, he would injure or take apart other hollows so that his chosen ones could evolve correctly. After that, he left it up to them how strong they would become. If they did desire that, he would devolve the and let them consume to their heart's content.
Ein Sof left when they were all satisfied, leaving them to seek refuge in Las Noches, a fortress that had been constructed long before any of them had known of the shinigami or the purge. For a time they mingled about, doing whatever stated their boredom.
-Present: After a time Asuna grew bored, and despite her general disinterest in anyone but herself, gathered the collctive and heading out for Da'at, a large tree that supposedly existed at the furthest reaches of Hueco Mundo. About this time the actual RP would begin, leveling Las Noches and heading out on an Arrancar Road Trip
-They arrive, with Asuna heading off into the deepest parts of the hollowed out tree, wondering why it seems everything was already prepared for their arrival. although she has seized control of the 'espada' she sees a new list of 'Sephira' that everyone is already divided into
-Tomomi, being the scientist that he is, cant get over why the tree grew the way it did, why nobody else really cares, and eventually he discovers the Da'at is actually Ein Sof himself. he keeps this to himself, and he's able to talk back and forth with him or w/e. Tomomi gets the idea to create a hybrid and wishes to test it before using it on himself, so he alerts Asuna, and Ein Sof makes a room where he can use his ability on whatever is inside. If it works, then he can use it on himself, and if it fails, then Tomomi will have gotten rid of Asuna.
From there I have no idea what to do with Asuna, specifically how she can train her shikai and bankai, let alone gain shinigami powers... I was thinking somebody opened a garganta and dropped her off there, but story-wise it would be years before she completed
proper training. Asuna would be a Plus, but would know how to manipulate reiryoku to pull off basic things like Air Walk or Shunpo given a short adjustment period, making her seem like a genius or somethig. iunno, moving on.
According to Dante, this room will remove every hollow and soul that the original ever absorbed, leaving behind the Plus that it came from. The other hollows would be stored in the room until Asuna can come back and recombine. Because the room can only handle so much storage, it can't be used until Asuna recombines.
-More time goes on, and either Asuna is discovered or reveals herself after/shortly before completing her full training, and has to flee back to Da'at, with Shinigami pursuers not far behind. Just as a Shinigami she's strong, but maybe Lt level. While she goes to be put back together and thus completing the hybrid, the rest f the Sephira wail on the shinigami for a while. It's not like all the stops will be pulled to chase her, but currently not even the Exablahbalhs really know that the Arrancars are back in business. Beaten back, hey leave to get reinforcements.
-Lo, for now the Gotei comes with a full force to try and take on the Sephira, but now Asuna is 100% (Right about now is where Dante's timeline from earlier comes into play.) Lots of huge flashy battles, but it doesn't seem to be going to well for the forces of goodness. During this fite, part of the Da'at, and therefore Ein Sof, is destroyed. Tomomi is already in the chamber trying to break down himself, apply what he quickly learned from Asuna's zanjutsu training, and put himself back together. A combination of that misinterpretation and damage to the tree results in the transformation being highly unstable, but at first he seems perfect in every way. (his progress in zanpakuto powers can be determined then) Tomomi gets to try his new body out for a bit on..whoever.
-Asuna reaches bankai, so the forces that be decide to use the hyohoku on her to put an end to this. Seems to be going well, her power in both states being reduced to a laughable level, when tomomi comes to interrupt the process, thinking maybe he cant be affected by it, who knows. That reaction to the Hyogoku will set off a reaction that destabilizes him, making him into a huge monster, still as strong as he was. Like outta control Tetsou (Akira reference FTW) sorta creature. The Hyogoku is destroyed, Asuna is down for the count, but now Tomomi has to be dealt with. From here asuna's authority seems to be gone, so the Arrancar can choose to go with Asuna or Tomomi. For quiet some time, Asuna is goign to be left weak as hell, while Tomomi will be a freak of nature that not even Aizen's mullet could love. This is where we can split into the reverse Kaballah and Sephira. Ein Sof, pissed that we all cant get along, returns to his vasto lorde form and leaves, screwing over both parties, never to be seen again?
(for all i can perfect hybrid status can be seen in later plots as some sort of device that drives both races into unity or conflict, who knows. Ein Sof can't hide forever and somebody at some point is going to remake the Hyogoku.)
-After all that noise, THE QUINCY PLOT. I refuse to state anything more since Quincys don't exist to me -plugs ears- LALALALLALA.
Ok, I will say something. At the end of the Hybrid Arc, the Quincy fire the Kido cannon at Taitei. This royally ******** him up, but doesn't kill him. With the arrancar's leaders weak, their structure of leadership in the toilet, and the fact that somebody OTHER than the Kido Corps has fired a potentially world-annihilating device mean the shinigami leave. Without skipping a beat we lead straight into the new arc.
-The Quincy have to find a better way to power the cannon, while trying to decide their new targets: The shinigami hinting them, or the wounded arrancar army.
-The shinigami have to not only track down the quincy hiding all over the place, fighting them when they find the cells, but locate and stop the Kido canon
-the arrancar struggle to pick themselves up,and do it in a hurry since The Shinigami are stronger, the Quincy have the Cannon, and the other Arrancars are dividing in loyalty between 2 leaders in a race to recover their Hyrbid powers.
and after that.. who knows. Anyone wana go to Hell?
