OOC - Omigod, bonus points for Jacen for bringing in the famous line from "Clerks". Yay!
IC - It came as no shock that stores were ripped off all the time, but this was the first time she'd seen someone cause such havoc in front of her. Normally, if there was a problem with something, the Professor or Logan would notify her of it and she'd tag along to help, but this time the problem occured right in front of her, and she felt it was duty to make it right.
Regardless of whether he thought she'd seen him or not, the black-clad young man had leaned right over the counter and snatched up a bunch of cigarettes and some lighters. She almost laughed at his score. The smarter person would steal money from the register, or more expensive items to sell, not a bunch of worthless drugs to support a habit. Thieves apparently had little regard for themselves. When the young man walked briskly out the store, drink to his lips, Anna slipped the Cosmo back where it should be and followed him outside.
When she stepped outside, Anna saw a busted down car a little way down the street, and a frantic man punching numbers into a cellular phone, but her concern was with the young man walking not too far in front of her. Making sure her wallet was stuck inside her back pocket, she psyched herself up and walked quickly after him. When she got within speaking distance, she warned him with a serious tone.
"You can go back now and save yourself some injuries and jail-time, or you can have me take back the cigarettes AND the cash you owe that clerk. Either way, you're not going to have a very productive afternoon."
She became very aware of her body, habitually bringing her stance to one that ensured she could not bring harm to herself if her powers were necessary.

Jacen turned on his heel to see who exactly would talk to him in such a manner. It was the young blonde who was in the store initially. Of course, Jacen could do nothing more than smile wickedly.
"Injuries and jail time...," Jacen said mockingly, "As much fun as that sounds, I will have to dutifully decline your offer." Taking a drag off of the cigarette while making a note of it's near demise, Jacen again chuckled menacingly. "And as for a productive afternoon, I'd say it has been a rather contradictingly productive day. I mean...destroying a car with my bare hands and using subterfuge to get what I wish for does seem rather productive, would you not agree?" Jacen flashed another grin, hoping to get under the blonde's skin.
Apparently the woman didn't agree as Jacen noted her getting into what could have been a fighting stance. "She's got guts...I'll give her that much," Jacen thought as he took a long drink of soda before tossing the nigh-empty bottle to the ground.
"If you are wishing to fight with me, little girl," Jacen snarled, "You'll get more than you bargained for." Lazily, Jacen took the last hit off of his cigarette and held onto it for a minute, allowing himself the opportunity to build up some strength and to look at his surroundings. He saw Pyro down the road a ways with that girl that read his mind. Jacen was still upset about that. His eyes fixed on the still sputtering vehicle in the road all the while smelling gasoline. Then and there, Jacen saw his opportunity.
"But alas, I cannot waste anymore time prattling to one such as yourself," Jacen chided as turned around and started to walk off towards his new residence. "Oh. By the way," he said as he lit another cig, took a few drags off if it, and tossed the rest behind him into the hole in the wrecked car's hood, "If I were you, I'd watch your head."
Confident he'd shifted people's attentions to something other than himself for the moment, Jacen kept on his way. He knew that if that blonde was really itching for a fight, she hunt him down. Not that it'd matter for she'd prove to be no difficult task, or so he thought.

Not concerning herself with the predicaments of the car-owner, Anna followed suit. Prefering to return the goods rather than get into an all-out brawl, she rushed Jacen's at Jacen's back, and with one quick, accurate knifehand slash, cut through the straps of the bag, snatching it with her other hand. She took some steps back when he turned to her with an annoyed look on his face.
"I'm not fooling around, you're paying for these." she threatened, tossing the bag aside at her feet and glaring back at him. It seemed odd to the onlooker that a thin young blonde would be taking on a dangerously dressed man nearly double her size when he'd already proven himself a force to be reckoned with. But that was the reality of it, and so far, he'd shown himself more than worthy of a limb lost. Maybe those thieving hands of his... Still, it bordered on his reaction.
She waited for his response with focused intent.

Jamie smiled back at Penny and Kitty. "Thanks for reminding me. I completely forgot. Oh, and thanks, I'd love a ride." He wandered down to the danger room once he was suited up and stood inside, hopping around and punching a bit. He realized how ridicoulous he must've looked, but he didn't care. He was happy just to be learning how to take care of himself.

((To those that care, after a lot of thought I have changed parts of my bio as most of it was written before the revamp >.<' just kinda got sidetracked and didn't finish it >.>))
Matt burried his hands in his pockets and sighed, he felt tired, hard to do when you had slept most of the day, and bored out of his mind. And still he was no closer to building up the courage needed to check the school for the gifted out.
His foot lashed out and connected with a crumpled metal can, sending it halfway across the road, and he carried on walking although it took a lot of weaving inbetween people who were sticking their noses in other peoples business by the looks of things.
"Stupid people, haven't they got a life?"
He was sure he could smell petrol..no wait, gas. That was what they called it over here, right? Pushing the thoughts out of his head he looked around him.
"Disasters seem to be common place today..."

OOC: Your post is fine Inuki. Hopefully, your lovely brother will join you soon. As for me, I've got a fellow Acolyte to help... I can't let him have all the fun, now can I? twisted
John was finally starting to calm down when Noko asked him, "You didn't set that building on fire...?" "What building?" John said turning around. He felt her arms tighten around him. "That's the guy that was at my school today..." she muttered in his ear. He looked down the street, and an evil grin slowly came upon his face. "That's Jacen... well I call him Scion. He's a fellow Acolyte. You've got nothing to worry about. Just don't get on his darkside. He holds his temper better then I do, but he's just as dangerous as I am, so don't take him to be some kinda wimp," He said with a laugh. But the was a hint of warning in his voice also. He was just about to turn around and keep on going, when he saw some blond chick come up to him. He watched as Jacen laughed in her face, and turned around to leave, only to have her snatch his bag away from him. John sighed. "This will only take a second hun." he said to Noko. He focused on the wrecked car and soon there was an explosion from it, as it burst into flames. The fire grew and then rose in the air forming three fireballs, which started circling around in the air above the girl. Jacen looked at John. John gave him an evil grin, and slowly started to walk up to join the party.

((OOC: I'm not sure how I should you... Bleh.))
IC:
Victor wondered about skipping this town. It ain't such a friendly place anyway. Say the rest of his money for some food in another city or town. Seriously. Taking a left turn, he walked and walked, wondering where he'll end up. I need a directory... Going into a nearby computer store, he pretended to browse as he looked at one of the computers and immediately networked it up to his mind. Searching for a directory of Bayville, he found nothing in particular in this city that grabs his attention... except for one thing: Xavier Institude for Gifted Youngsters. Should really pay a visit. Quickling withdrew his mind from the computer, Victor looked at an incoming staff member who Victor suspected that the staff wanted to question Victor as to why he had been staring at the computer screen. Oh crap... Turning his face away, he flicked his will and the computers all began to Shut Down by themselves. Looking around pretending to be surprised, Victor backed out and followed some of the customers that were leaving as well.
Once out, he walked away carefully, not wanting to attract attention. Now, where was that place again? Ah yes... Moving to the other side of the road, he made his way to the Mansion.
After walking for a while, he finally made it to the front gate. Wow... That's amazing. It looks so grand. Looking to the side, he realised that the gate is electronically locked. So tempted to open it with a wink of his eye, Victor decided against it. I shouldn't be using my powers to go into a private property... That's just wrong. Curiosity drove him further as he winked. The gate buzzed into life as the gate swung open slightly. Quickly going in and closing the gate behind him, Victor coulnd't believe he just did that. It's not too late to back out now. Looking at the vast expanse of the place, Victor gasped in amazement at the actual mansion looming ahead of him. "That- That's just incredible!"
((OOC: Okay, I made an effort and got myself as far as the front gate razz Please? ))

Matt just stood, watching the sudden fire for a few moments then the balls of it that surrounded the woman and shook his head slowly. It looks like the rumors weren't that wrong. With everything that was going on he didn't thnk anyone would notice if a clown started tap dancing in his underwear.
"Oook, so Bayville is home to mutants of all shapes and sizes." I have so gotta stop talking to myself! He walked slowly away from the scene, dragging his feet, and thought about the pile of homework he would probably have, if only he could remember what was said during the lessons.
His steps brought him closer to the outside of town and, as there was far less people around, a sudden grin blessed his face. One thing always made him happier, flying. Pulling off his coat he folded it over his hands and flexed golden wings that caught the sunlight, he couldn't stop himself from smiling as he left the ground.
"Now this is why I love being a mutant."

Pietro very calmly strolled down the road, in the direction of the chaos. He didn't wear the look of a concerned hero, nor did he wear the face of a sadist looking to join the action. Instead, he looked more like an irritated parent catching his kid smoking pot in the basement. He wasn't so much angry as he was mildly disgusted that if they were going to do something stupid, they could have at least done it with a bit more dignity.
"Well hello again Scion," Pietro said with a tinge of condescention about his voice. "Might I ask why you're blowing our cover some uppity b***h who gets on your nerves? I thought pissing people off was your power anyway..."
Pietro uttered his comment shamelessly as he stood beside the girl, not even acknowledging her pressense at first. He turned an eye to the girl, and hissed. "Shoo. Men are speaking."

Hello Victor... called a voice that seemed to echo around the man's head. Welcome to Xavier's Home for Gifted Youngsters. You may attempt to hack into our systems if you truly desire it, but note that our attack barriers could very well put the Pentagon to shame. However, if you would rather come inside for a quick chat, you would be more than welcome to enter in the more conventional sense.
And with that, the gates opened automatically, even invitingly.
OOC: This is Jack, and this was the only mule whose password I remembered. Can I get a list of the rest of them?

He sat on top of a roof, watching the sun quietly. Golden wings had folded uncomfortably but covered most of his torso, yet despite the breeze he felt no cold.
He felt like he could do anything at the moment, above his fingertips tiny golden orbs jumped about and landed on a different finger each time.
"Well, I cant say I dont like the view but maybe I should be putting my time to a better use?" And I do it again, talking to myself. This is getting a bit over the top really. Letting his mind wander at the thoughts he sighed and stood slowly. The neighborhood was quiet and trees mostly kept him out of sight but he planned on staying here for a while and it may be better for him if people didn't know what he was.
Powerful wings carried him into the air and pushed him higher, his eyes clenched shut and feeling the sun on his face.
"I do like the sun." His quiet mutter was finished by folding his wings back, letting himself fall until they folded open once again and catapulted him back into the air. "But I need to get things done.."

"s**t, running late, running late, running late," Penny said as she moved swiftly down the stairs. She heard the buzzer go off for the front gate. She took her gloves out of her mouth and put them on her hands.
There was a small knock on the door and she ran over to open it. Her assumptions were right as it was a new student. He gave her an odd glance and then she realized that she was still only half dressed as usual. She quickly zipped up her training uniform top and apologize, "Sorry, I'm the uninhibited one around here and I'm running late."
"Um, I'm supposed to meet the professor?" He said. She could tell from his facial expressions that the guy had already had the privledge of hearing Xavier in his head.
"Yea, Chuck. Come this way," She lead him into the fast foyer and to the back hallway. She pointed down the left hallway, "His office is the second door on the right. They tell me you get used to his way of communicating... He's also not really that intrusive unless he has to be. Anyway, I'm running late. Maybe Xavier will let you practice with us this afternoon."
Penny made a quick dash to the elevator and punched in the secret code for the subbasement. Of course, Ororo was already starting the practice session. Jamie, Kitty, Kurt, and Rogue were already there. Ororo noted Penny's tardiness into her logs as the girl took her place by Kitty in the melee.
"What's the mission?" Penny asked.
"To get to teh other side of the room," Kitty pointed.
That wasn't going to be that easy either. There were at least thirty robots standing in their way.

"Ah s**t." Jamie hated fighting robots. His powers were completely useless against them. Well, this is why I'm here. Jamie started to walk across the room slowly until one of the robots charged in at him. He rolled to the side and jumped back to his feet, and then kicked the robot in the back, making a hole. He took a steady breath and then turned to see another robot charging in at him. He reached out his hand and grabbed the robots arm, tearing it off, and hitting the robot with it.
