"Probably not...but who knows!" He said as he stood up and then jumped into the air. He put his hands down to support himself and.....barely caught himself from falling on his face. " I call it....... a draw...." he said smirking.

"Awww... that's no fun... there has to be a winner!" She playfully rounded Solice, putting her index finger to her lips. "Hmmmm, what to do, what to do....?"

Solice thought for a second. "Hmmmm....I say one more. Loser has to finish the bottle." he said as he picked up the dice and rolled. He laughed. "I knew that was going to happen."

"All right, lets see to that... You know we tied at a 1 before! Here goes...." A six came up. She tried to stifle her laughter, but failed miserably. "Ha ha ha... oh my dear, you asked for it." She held out the bottle for him: it was still half full. "Well, you don't have to do that, you know..." She laughed again. "But if you do, I promise to bring you home."

He smiled. "My word is bond." he said as he filled her cup to the brim, and then held up his. "The rest is mine...but that doesn't mean we have to stop the conversation..." he said with a smile and a wink as he toasted to her. "Kampai."

"Truly a man of honour, I see. Kampai!" She toasted to him in return. "As for the conversation... you choose the next topic..."

((Speaking of drinking games, here is the classic "chinglish" anecdote. Enjoy!
The official at a reception raised his glass in a toast to his guests, got his words slightly twisted and shouted "Up your bottoms!" Not missing a beat the British guest of honour replied: "Up yours too!" mrgreen

All right, got to go... You don't want to know what time it is around here... Night!))

"Tell me more about riding horses. I will need as much knowledge as possible to do well tomorrow." he said, taking in about half his cup.

"Ah, I see, let me think about it." She took a sip from her cup. "It is hard to teach someone to ride without a horse... best experience is always hands-on..." She winked at him. "But I can tell you a few things you might need to know.
O.k. first thing: If you mount a horse, you always do it from the left side. This is because as a right handed person, you are usually wearing a weapon on your left, so this way you cannot accidentally poke the horse since you are getting your right leg over. I will show you first how to mount bareback, if you have a saddle, it is, of course, a lot easier. But we are not here for trivial things, are we?" She smiled and briefly raised one eyebrow.
"Second thing is the gaits. How much do you know about that already?" She asked, then wetted her lips with the sake.

Makoto quietly watched the two drinking, it made her giggle a bit, then blush in fear they may have heard her.

"Please excuse me for a moment girls."

She stood up, slowly walking over to the bar, she was a bit nervous talking to the man about something....not so graceful. She put her hand lightly on Solice's shoulder, clearing her throat before she spoke, she was soft and low, fearing that the other geisha and parton's may hear her.

"P....Pardon me sir but this pagoda, it does have several obstacle courses and trainng grounds am I correct? Is it also opened to um...geisha?"

Solice shook his head. "Not much. I can understand though how to mount. It's probably very similar to hopping over a short wall. I bet..." he stopped as the other girl touched his shoulder.

He cocked his head to the side as she spoke to him. His eye stared at her, but in a non-threatening manner. As she finished he answered her. "To my understanding all areas of the Pagoda are open to everyone. If you wish to go on the obstacle courses, simply bring another pair of clothes," he said as his eye had been looking her over. "..and change at the entrance. There are changing areas at each course. Weapons are allowed as well, and you can train with other people if you want..." he said as he turned his head back around and finished his cup of sake.

He then poured another for himself. "I am being rude though, aren't I? This is Amaya, in charge of the stables for the Pagoda. and you are?" he said as he took a swig of his sake, and put the cup back down.

I guess the horse would object to being treated as a wall... Amaya thought. Oh, he will see... definitely. She hid her smirk behind her sake cup as her companion talked to the girl who had approached him and nodded politely when he introduced her to the newcomer.

Makoto bowed her head respectfully to Solice and Amaya.

"I am Makoto, a Geisha from the Hinohasu Okiya. It is a pleasure to meet you Amaya and you sir....I am sorry I did not catch your name."

Makoto smiled hearing about stables.

"Amaya-san, are you looking for more help with the stables, please would it be wrong of me to help as well. I know it must sound so ungraceful but you could say I am not the most...graceful geisha."

Makoto laughed a bit, her cheeks growing red, these people must be thinking she's crazy right about now, talking about trainning, wepons and now tending stables, she felt she was making a complete fool of herself, and more than likely, she was.

"I used to help around the Daimyo's stables in my village and I do love animals very much, and I'm not scared of having to do the dirty work if it comes down to it, I mean I can always change clothes and wash."

Solice noted the statement Makoto had made. "Ah yes. My name, is Solice." he said as he extended a hand.

Amaya waited until Solice and Makoto had finished shaking hands, then joined the conversation:
"Hello Makoto-san! I am pleased to meet you, too. As for the stables... indeed, we need a stable hand or two to help out, but I would not recommend doing it, since you are a geisha... your okiya mother would surely not permit it, since the risk of injury is great... particularily with one of our horses, a mare named Gigi... she's a really mean old goat." She laughed and pointedly held out her frayed sleeve.

((I'm not trying to keep you out of the stables, Princess, don't get me wrong, I just think it is not appropriate for a geisha... thats why I don't RP Ao-sagi there, either. Why don't you just think up another character and join? I would love to have your company! heart ))

Makoto shook Solice's hand and smiled turning to Ayama.

"Yes perhaps you are right, there have been times I have almost been kicked in the head when I was younger. I remember one of the Daimyo's horses was also a wild one, a coat as black as night, fast as lightning, and the temper of a wild dog. I am sorry. I also think it'd be safe not to let Okaa-sama know about my interest in fighting eaither."

((No don't be sorry, I completely understand and you are right, I'll PM you a character name in just a moment.))
