Blossom was caught off guard by Aki's sudden attack. She went up curiously to see what had caused the water pokemon to attack. Before she was able to reach Aki, a Pidgeotto had fallen from it's perch. "Saur!?" She let out a startled cry before sending the furry of her razor leaf at the drenched bird pokemon.

Cal turned to the battle that had started without her notice. She shot up, tripping over a root and falling on her back into the mud. Her clothes and hair were covered in mud, but she made her way back up to help in the battle.

"Who said that you wouldn't have messed up too?" Leonard snarled. "Catching one of those Totodiles would've attracted the Feraligatr too!"

He just assumed that, more like, but he preferred this Feraligatr over one of those Totodiles anyway. And he'll probably be the one to catch it too, seeing that the Eevee could get owned any second now.

Before he could command his Pokemon's next moves, he noticed two red eyes watching the battle from a distance... Well it was about damn time that Banette came around. Whether to help or to laugh at the trouble they're in, he didn't care.

"Seance, get your butt over here and use a Confuse Ray!" Leonard called out before she could slip away. "And Brick, use a Thunderpunch!" He switched moves so the Snorlax wouldn't accidentally slam into Zach's Eevee instead.

As Kofuku and Panther ran towards the source of the commotion, the three Totodiles that had passed them earlier, did so once again. This time running back in the direction they had come in a panic.

The Feraligatr was angered as it grasped at an illusion of its Eevee love. The even more so as it was struck by a thunderpunch and then confused. It was so angry and confused in fact... that it swung a clawed paw, missed and slapped itself in the face.

A swarm of totodile was coming right at them. "Shade, hypnosis on those Totodile." He said, not wanting to be run over by three small pokemon.

Shade nodded and sent out a ray of hypnosis at the three pokemon, getting intot he middle of the path so as to not let them by.

"I didn't want a stupid Totodile anyway!" Leonard said, echoing his thoughts before. Who was he, to assume that he knew the best way to handle this? His stupid tactic of avoiding attacks instead of dealing them could've failed just as easily.

But he was right about his Metang. He didn't issue any orders because... it slipped out of sight and out of mind. Looking around for the stupid hunk of metal, he found it floating away, seemingly following something.

"What are you doing?!" He shouted, flushed with anger and embarrassment. He was so angry, in fact, that he fished out a magnet out of his pocket and threw it at the Feraligatr. That should hold the Metang's attention.

As expected, Omega whizzed over so fast that it didn't even care that it had to slam into the larger Pokemon to get to the magnet. Meanwhile, Leonard told Seance to use Shadow Claw and Brick to use Body Slam. He didn't care at this point if he accidentally hurt Zach's Pokemon. It looks like he might catch it next turn. With any luck.

The Snorlax ended up slamming right into Yasu, and the irony of the fact that out of all the time Yasu managed to evade enemy attack, he got taken out by his so called 'ally' did not escape him. He acted quickly, tossing a pokeball at the feraligatr. If he couldn't catch it now, he probably wouldn't be able to catch it at all, after all. He said to Leonard, "I'm willing to place bets that that was intentional, a**. Thunder punch would have worked far better at this point after all. You may not have wanted a totodile, but *I* was the one trying to catch it. So since you had no interest in the pokemon I was trying to catch and deem it better to chase it off instead, perhaps I will try to take the one you are trying to catch instead." He then returned Yasu to his pokeball and waited out the results of his capture attempt.

Seeing that the pokemon had fallen asleep, he lobbed a pokeball at it. "Well let me snag this one, since it's already right here. and we should check at the least, I still hear the battle, we can take a different route after."

Shade watched the other Totodile escape, but wasn't commanded to stop them. It seemed that his human was more interested in the one he managed to put to sleep. He puffed his chest out in a bit of pride.

"The Body Slam was intentional, yes, because it has a better chance of paralyzing than Thunderpunch! It would make easier to catch this damn thing-"

Leonard broke off when the Feraligatr crunched Seance. He winced at the super-effective attack, though luckily she escaped the foe's jaws soon after. He wasn't sure if she would be able to survive another Crunch, that's why he had to end this battle as soon as possible... maybe now...

"Oh hell no!" He instinctively grabbed the Dark ball he was saving and threw it at the Feraligatr. He wasn't going to let this jerk steal this Pokemon when he was the one that weakened it! His Pokemon actually got hurt battling while his stupid Eevee just flirted and danced around!
