"You're afraid too, aren't you?" Jack asked, smirking a bit. He noticed she was avoiding looking down. "Well, I guess I'm not one to talk. But still, it is kind of weird. You don't seem like someone that gets scared." he added, thinking about it. He shook his head, annoyed that he always over-thought things. It was a downside of being a child of Athena. It was a gift, and a curse.

"No. Of course not. Why would you- Yes." She sighed, ashamed of herself. No wonder her siblings hated her so much... "Guess not, but it's better than talking to an imaginary friend. Then people might think you're insane and insist you take a trip to see Mr. D." She joked, haf serious half joking.

"Well, its not really something to hide. And people having an imaginary friend at, whatever age you're at, isn't exactly, um, good." Jack agreed, not knowing what age she was. He was really tempted to drop something off of it, just for fun.

She frowned. "It is if your siblings aren't." Jessie sighed. "I wasn't saying I actually had an imaginary friend. And for the record, I'm almost 19."

"Well how do you think I feel? I'm an Athena kid, and their version of frightening, is anything that is logical to fear. Heights isn't one of those." Jack said, picking up a small rock and wanted to just drop it. "And ok, having an imaginary friend at age almost 19 isn't exactly good." he corrected.

Jessie rolled her eyes. "You know, I don't know why your siblings treat you the way they do. You're a pretty decent person." She grinned, and allowed her feet to dangle over to ledge of the climbing wall.

"Um, thanks, you too." Jack said, a little confused. But he still meant it, sort of. He sighed, and leaned back on his hands, his legs hanging off of the rock wall. He looked up at the sky, then straight foward, looking at the view. "Well this is fun." he said, a little bit of sarcasm in his voice.

"Well, I'm fairly entertained. It doesn't take too much to keep me occupied." She admitted, lying down with her arms crossed behind her head.

"Oh really? So if you had some lint you would be happy?" Jack asked, disbelievingly. He thought it would at least be interesting to mess around with her. He had nothing else to do, and so he casually threw the rock off the side and acted like nothing happened.

"Now someone's being overly- dramatic." She frowned, closing her eyes as she relaxed to the soft noises of the higher grounds.

"So, that's a 'no', to the lint?" Jack asked, joking. He was bored, and was getting used to the height. It was just when he looked down he freaked out.

"Yeah. That's a no to the lint." She laughed a bit, almost immediately wishing he hadn't. Jessie cursed herself in her head.

Jack shrugged, and lied back, a little bored. "So, have you used your gift from Bia yet?" he asked, then immiediatly regretted it. He remembered what she had given him, and decided to change the subject, quickly. "So, are you a good fighter?" he asked, hoping it didn't seem that odd.

"No and yes." She raised an eyebrow at his questioningly, and then just as quickly remembered how skittish he had acted after he returned from wherever it was he had been. "Jack... What happened? What was Bia's gift to you?" Jessie was persistant and stubborn, and probably wouldn't stop asking him until he eventually caved in.

"I-its nothing." Jack said, stuttering a bit. "So, do you, like, practice fighting a lot?" he asked, a little nervous and lamely. He really didn't want to talk about what had happened, but knew she wouldn't give up. So he would have to find some way to stop her from asking.
