Kay Georgiy Meeting your neighboughs
Kael rushed past both her and Kagura at the sounds of screams from up ahead. Finding him spying round the corner, she made to look, but was halted by him. "What do we have here?" Finding the responding voice to be a trembling female, Kay thought that it would be safe enough to move round herself. "We heard screams. Take it that they were guards? Ah! What happened to you?" As she talked she walked calmly towards them. She could see collars on everyone but the woman, meaning that they had to be immortals. She had cried out when she spotted Jansen on the ground, struggling to get back up. Sliding her shoulder under his arm, she lifted and helped stabilaze him while he got upright.
((Once all the collars are off, I'll be wrapping up chapter two.))

Kael Fenrir "Good thing I practiced in the mirror..."
"My intentions aren't what you think they are Sweetheart... But I'm guessing you're looking for this?" Kael said as he grabbed the key from within his shirt. "How about I start with you, Jansen..." He said as he walked past Amelia and took off the collar that was on the Lieutenant. Kael tossed the thing to the corner and then removed everyone elses. He then stepped back and leaned against the wall. "Keep taking the bait..." He thought keeping a straight face, not letting his real motives and intentions show through.

Amelia Reikart What is he up to...? Oh, nevermind, that's not important right now...
Amelia looked strangely at Kael. Why was he helping them? No matter how helpful he had been in the past, he had always seemed a sadist to her, not caring about what pain he caused. Plus, everything she had worked for was falling apart. The wall she had built between herself and the truth had crumbled. It didn't matter who her work benefited, when it had caused so much pain, and even death to a few. The thought made her sick, and she fought against the trembling. She was grateful when a girl came and took Jansen, for it allowed her to lean against the wall. The man's weight was almost too much for her, especially now. A thought suddenly occured to her. What of the work she had recently completed? It would still be there... Right? She pushed herself off the wall, almost falling. She would check on her lab. The shock the immortal had created had fried some of her computers. Aer would have fixed them by now. Then, she could do something to stop this madness.

“Excellence is not a singular act, but a habit. You are what you repeatedly do.” Kagura followed Kay but didn't go as close to the others. Instead she remained down the hall, trying to hide in whatever shadows she could find. This guard...why was he unlocking them? Surely he wasn't on their side. Besides, Kagura knew that no one would do something for nothing. There was always some sort of price to pay, and she really didn't want to find out what his was. So she stayed apart and watched the group. Things were getting even more out of control. Who could she trust? Could she even trust herself?“Don't pray for lighter burdens, but for stronger backs.” ll ooc ll sorry it is kind of short =/ writers block

Kaileigh leaned against the wall as the next events played out to shocked and panic to enter into an of them. She just wanted to go home this was too much. The whole reason she'd left the mountains was so she wouldn't have to deal with the panic and fear anymore and here she was back in a drowning pool of fear and panic. As Jansen took out the guards she slid down the wall so that she was sitting on the ground. But whe somewhat regreted that as another guard came up and unlocked her collar. This surpised her making her give him a second look. She could put up with Jansen but this dude she couldn't put up.

Amelia Reikart Oh no... Say it isn't so...
Amelia stumbled down the hallway steeling her gut as she went past the welded-shut door, and almost tripped as she went through the doorway to her lab. She limped slightly as she walked, still wobbly. She sat in her chair and sighed, glad for the rest, but quickly went to work. Her fingers flew across the keys. What could she do? She paused, turned, and made a quick inventory of her lab. Everything seemed in place... Wait... Something was missing...
She pushed against the computer desk, rolling on the chair to the table nearby. She stared long and hard, then realized what was missing: the samples. They were gone, and happened to be the ones who survived. She suddenly felt sick again. What would happen now? Those samples were the key to what she had been hired to do. There was no doubt in her mind it was her employer who took them, and he-- at least, it sounded like a man on the intercom --was certainly a brilliant man. He could figure it out himself...
Amelia slouched over, resting her feverish head on the cold table. She shivered, but it felt good, and allowed her to think... Somewhat.

"Voice confirmed. Access granted." Turing at the sound of the door opening, Dr. Adam found a slightly out of breath Dr. Aer standing with the box of samples like his message had told him. He wasn't the highest scientist, but he had gained the respect of everyone he worked with through his kind demenor and high skills. Five minutes exactly. "Ah, you must be Dr. Aer. And I suppose these would be the samples then. Let me take a look." Sliding out one of the sample trays, he found a variety of different methods of holding them, making it easier to test them in different ways. Nodding, he took the box of samples and placed them carefully into a stasis pod to retain their freshness. They would be sent to lab #000 for further testing. "Thank you, doctor. I'm sure that this will be remembered at a later time. You may go back to whatever it was you were doing before the message came through, which I'm sure was important. You have done well. With that, he left the lab and disappeared in the direction of the high security elevator.... End of chapter two

Chapter Three The sample was greeted off the elevator by a single trusted guard who took the box of samples and nodded at Dr. Adam. As the doctor turned to take the elevator back up, the guard silently took out a pistol and shot him through the back of his head. Orders from the boss. Once the Dna was delivered, remove the deliverer. Job done. Kicking the corpse out of the way, the guard moved down the hall towards Lab #000. This was where the main experiment was taking place, unknown to all the workers but the ones working here. Passing the samples through a hatch, he relaxed. That was his job done other that guard duty. Seeing as no one came down here, it was the easyist job he had ever done. 500,000 new credits for guarding an empty corridor. Listening to the hatch close with a clang, he turned his sights on the passage he had came down and the blinking light of the lift. An easy but boring job. Oh well.

Lt. Jansen Cygnar ”Fear monger” UP we get.... As the guard approached him Jansen began to feel uneasy, he didn't even trust the pukey scientist so why should he trust the guard? As the girl helped him, he was on his feet but that was about it, and the removal of the collar helped too by ceasing the constant shock. Jansen raised his head to find himself looking at the guard, it was that kind of look that said "I know I'm better than you so watch out" Jansen didn't know the guards reasons but that didn't really matter, he was partly responsible for Jansen being, so more than not knowing reasons it was more not caring. " Hey, thanks for helping me up. My name is Jansen, but so far I seem to have been dubbed Lieutenant by the other girls behind me. Your name?" Jansen said quietly to the young woman that was currently supporting his weight. She didn't look very old, but from the way she was acting he guessed she was also an immortal.

“Excellence is not a singular act, but a habit. You are what you repeatedly do.” Kagura watched the man that Kay was holding up. He seemed to be military...but he at least didn't look like he was out to harm them. Changes were he too was an imprisoned immortal. She slowly stepped closer to the group so that she could hear what was going on around her, but not close enough that nay of those talking would think to involve her. But she liked watching. Interacting meant that you actually had to try and trust someone with yourself. That was always a mistake in her experience. Nothing made it worthwhile. But she was going to have to trust these people to live. Or at least she could pretend to.“Don't pray for lighter burdens, but for stronger backs.” ll ooc ll

Kay Georgiy Yo, L.T.~
As soon as Kay had helped to lift up the military man, the scientist that had been helping him seemed to crumple against the wall and slide away, hopefully for a rest. But the one thing that seemed out of place in the scene, was Kaim. It didn't seem right that he would help them. His 'facade' as he had called it seemen more likely to be his true colours. "Mine is Kay. Listen, I don't trust the guard the unlocked us all. There's something up with him, and I don't like it." Other than her name which she had said loud enough for everyone to hear, her concerns of Mr. Guardy were only loud enough for Jansen to hear. "So L.T. What do you reckon about getting out of this place. I'm sure that Mr. Guardy could show us the way out."

(hey. sorry I haven't posted in a while. wasn't able to get online for the last couple of days.)
This whole ordeal had made Jayna so much more defensive and cautious than she had already been, but after Jansen had practically burnt himself out and the guard had come around and undone everybody's collars, she was just too confused to do anything but follow the crowd. She knelt down by Kaileigh. "Hey, K. You alright?"

Kaileigh looked over at Jayna trying to get herself back under control. "I'm fine this is just getting too complex for me," said Kaileigh in a voice that only Jayna could hear. She was already starting to draw water to herself in the air, the vapor couldn't really be seen yet but some had already built up on her hands making them wet. She wiped them on her pants quickly, "Between Jansen and the guard my nerves on end especially because of the guard," said Kaileigh looking over at him from the corner of her eyes.

Aer Windfall ~
"Umm, ok." Aer smiled a little bit as Dr. Adam took the samples off her hands. She had never gotten used to being called doctor. Dr. Adam immediately left the lab, and Aer got the cue from his earlier words to move on and not watch whatever was going on.
She actually didn't have much on her list to do today. Maybe she would head back to the techy lab to tinker with random gadgets and build things or just write a letter to her brother.
Aer sighed and deactivated the anti gravity device on her bag. She felt the weight of the tools immediately. Well, Rei always told me exercise is good. She started walking through the hallways heading back to the techy lab. She would pass Amelia's lab again on the way.
She was kind of a shy person, so it wasn't like her to randomly bother people in the area.

Lt. Jansen Cygnar ”Fear monger” "Giyari used an ultra potion, jansen regained full health!" " I agree. His mannerisms are slightly off. Nice to meet you Kay. And thank you for the help, but I feel my strength returning, you would be best to move back from me." Jansen spoke calmly as his 'field' began to return around him to its natural levels of two feet, which was if anything larger than when the collar was in effect, it wouldn't be long till he was full strength again. Jansen was used to reading people, he needed to be good at it if he wanted to have even a shred of normality in his life, it meant that he knew when to approach people, and when it could end in disaster. Although at first glance the guard looked helpful, his over confidence that no one would attack after their collar was removed was the give away, it showed he was prepared to fight them. Steadying himself on his feet Jansen took a deep breath and closed his eyes, he began to relax, which was needed to have full suppression of his powers, after a few seconds he regained his normal guise of emotionless and indifference. " Right. As much as I feel getting out is the eventual goal, I doubt we would be free long till we ended back in this facility. We need to shut it down, so I am heading further in and I strongly suggest that the rest should follow my lead. That includes you Guard, I do not trust you, as I do not trust ANY employee of this facility, but you will be helpful and I shall use you until that is no longer the case, at which point you shall be discarded... Is that clear." Jansens strength was returning by the second, though that was to be expected with the increased healing that is present in all immortals.
