Everyone is changing There's no one left that's real To make up your own ending And let me know just how you feel
Silas nodded at Acacia and stood next to Jinx. "Close?" he whispered in her ear, softly. He looked at the bit of blood on the ground and, much like Acacia, want to fly overhead to find this person.

Her feelings she hides, Her dreams she can't find She's losing her mind, She's fallen behind Evangeline was desperate. She knew she could not get away, but decided it would be better to try. She jumped up and out of her hiding place, flaring out her black wings and pushing off the ground. She tried to weave through some of the branches, but she ended up hiding her head and falling down through them, landing awkwardly on a few and gaining many more cuts and bruises.
She can't find her place, She's losing her faith She's fallen from grace, She's all over the place

Jinx nodded slowly as she moved closer to a bush; the trail disappeared under it. As that moment, a girl jumped out of the bush, spread her wings and attempted to fly off. The surprise of her appearance practically knocked Jinx backwards, not helping that her wings came very close to her. "What the..." She muttered as the girl hit an abundance of tree branches, causing a great deal of damage to herself.

Silas watched the girl land in front of them, unconscious. She was bleeding, but alive. "Bind her and see what you can do for her wounds. She'll help us get to the wild ones and the angels once she's up again," he told the other two.
"Now, we just need to get the fires out," he added after he looked at the fires which were growing, despite the demons trying to put them out.

Acacia snorted at their attempts. "Amateurs." Flapping her wings as best as she could, she found herself able to gain a few inches. Not enough to be much use in finding things, but enough to throw a large canvas bag over the source of the fire. As it ran out of oxygen she grabbed back the canvas and fell to the forest floor. "Can't fly here, can't do anything here," she muttered angrily as she threw the charred sack to one side.

Jinx stood and watched, now that her part was done, as Acacia put the fire out with a canvas sack. "It's not all bad. It we just flew through, we would've never caught a Wild One." She said, spitting the name out with disgust. The race itself was horrid enough but the girl now in their possession had the ultimate appearance of a barbarian. It's awful. They really could be fighting a decent fight but they choose to be cowards and kill when and who the want. She had to fight the urge and beat the unconscious girl.

[[You're so mean Sammy!]]
"No we would not. when she wakes up, ask her what she was doing in here. For now, throw her on a stretcher. We still have ground to cover. You four, ransack her camp," Silas directed a few demons. "Everyone else, move out."
In order to keep on schedule, they would have to keep moving. they were losing so much time walking that it was almost unrealistic. They needed to get to the Wild Ones city quickly, before the Angels got too far ahead and began their attack if possible.

[[Jinx hates Wild Ones! It's not my fault.]]
Jinx felt inner pleasure as the demons handling the stretcher weren't any form of kind. They literally threw her onto the thing and carried it quiet roughly. As the group, besides the ones staying behind in the camp, began moving, Jinx weaseled her way into the front. It's easier to scout if you can see around other big demons. And she wasn't that tall at all, (Petite is a word that comes to minds often when dealing with her.), so she kind of had to be in the more frontal area of the group. She held her bow at the ready, an arrow dangling by two fingers.

A bored Acacia caught up with Silas. "Oh, Silas, you sound so manly when you give commands," she sighed.[[Give me a moment to gag... Ugh, this character is hard...]] "It's a curiosity that no girl's snagged you yet," she added, throwing Jinx a vicious smile over her shoulder. Not that Acacia had any intentions of getting between Jinx and Silas. She was just bored.

Jinx turned her head slightly, hiding her blush from an already-too-pleased Acacia. But she was right, on some level, that is. There was something in Jinx's mind, a place where Silas roamed. But, for the most part, she kept that part at bay. But she decided to play along, now that the blush had passed. "Positively curios." She agreed.

"I have refused offers to be 'snagged' before," Silas replied, looking down at Acacia. "Besides, I have Wild Ones to kill, who has time for a relationship when there's a war?"

Acacia felt a piece of Jinx's heart break, so she let the conversation drop. Even a demon with a nose for trouble knows when to let things lie. "How much farther?"

Jinx felt her heart drop. But she held her head up, as she had learned to do in times of hardship, and let her mind take it all. Her face remained perfectly composed, though no one can control what is seen in the eyes.
Acacia must have known something was up, because she let the whole thing slide. It was odd for her, normally she would poke and prod until a person exploded. Figuratively speaking of course. Jinx remained silent and she switched to a different topic, knowing her voice couldn't be controlled anymore than the eyes.

[[All right, I'm doing CPR on this roleplay.]] As Mordecai's angels were flying home with their new hostage, she allowed her Holy Sight to spread beyond her eyes, encompassing the world beneath them. That was how she noticed movement in the trees below. Pulling up sharply, she signaled a halt from her troop. With gestures she ordered the smallest angel warriors to scout beneath them. In a matter of moments they had rested in the topmost boughs, climbed their way lower, climbed back, and shot up in the air to report. Their faces made it clear before their words did: demons. She resorted to using signals. 'Demons beneath us. You, youngest angel, take the Wild One and guard her. The rest of you, climb trees to the ground about twenty feet away from here in a circular formation. Then walk on the ground. We will surround them.' An angel with a scar over his eye looked at her quizzically as he signaled, 'Do we fight?' In answer, Mordecai took her halberd in a firm grip. She swung it to warm herself up, then hitched it on her back and found a tree to climb down.

[[Interesting... Lets see if it works!]]
Jinx listened to the trees, having heard the sound of large wings. She stiffened visibly, her back growing tense. She could hear the angels climbing down the trees. All thoughts of Silas slid from her mind, as she focused on the here and the now. Her job had to be more important than anything else. He was right, who has time for a relationship when there's a war.
"We've got company." She said, barely above a whisper, " Angels. A good amount of them, too." She sniffed the air ever so slightly. "And one wild one." She muttered, grip tightening on her bow, her fingers placing the arrow where it needed to be for a quick fire. "Might be a friend of hers," She said quietly, motioning to the unconscious girl, "Come to save the day."
