Nerdy_Boy_4evah Blaizekit Hey guys, looks like you got some cool ideas brewing under your hats. How's it going? ninja Good~ FtN came up with most of the contest and events. She is doing most of that *through me* while I am advertising our group in the general forum. Kurumii, I hope you beat it. I did recognize the lack of support groups for it, and am glad to be the captain to this team. Non-Hodgkin's toom my father's life when I was but a toddler of three years. Yeah, got done with the lengthy chemo, now im waiting on a second PET scan. I had to do a biopsy of a mass in my chest, but luckily that came back negative. So im hopeful ive beaten it, then its onto another 5 years of tests. But its better then chemo if I ended up getting this thing down to nothing.
But none the less, if you need help with anything here id be happy to help. Otherwise ill try to poke my head in the days im feeling well enough to post. :]
*edits* I forgot to add, Im sorry about your father. I truly am, though I don't know you-it really saddens me when people that get Cancer dont make it. Its even harder for the people they leave behind. My heart truly goes out to you.
Thanks again for recognizing us!

Haha. I actually do have a high charisma, I am friends with like 95% of the people I meet. Even if they are "popular" at school. I am nowhere near popular IRL.

You're welcome Kurumi. crying
You know the story behind this team, last year it didn't exist as a team to begin with because I didn't know about it. Then someone that had it requested it as a team and a lot of others supported. So it became one, and when I started this year I couldn't forget that, so I put it in as a team again. :3
You guys might be a small group but you're stalwart.

Thanks again for recognizing us! No thanks necessary. My father dies of Non-Hodgkin's, and that is my determination. To gain recognition for the diseas that took my father's life and robbed me of half my childhood experiences.

I'll be honest, it upsets me when I see "Brest Cancer Awareness" or whatever sort of months that happen/or events. I'm very happy to see something that supports all kinds of cancer, because when it comes down to it one isnt worse then the other. Anyone that has/is going through it has a hard time with whatever treatment comes. So im stoked that this will enlighten people that there are ALOT of different types out there that effect millions of people every day-not just one kind.

There's a lot of things we miss out on, especially things when we get older. But the best way to take it all in, is grow from it, and help others along the way from our own experiences.

Yeah, Im here to do that very thing. In the near future, I hope to organize events supporting the more obscure forms of cancer.

One thing that just ticked me off so bad was when Walmart had pink Tic Tacs with a display that said "May is Women's Health month-help support a great cause" and it just seethed me because May is Melanoma awareness month. It was also the first anniversary of my mother's death so I was a little emotional^^;; Not that I have anything against anyone that has it or anyone who has a loved one suffering from it. What I hate is how companies capitalize on that pain and turn it into a sickening marketing ploy. I did a report about it in English. :3

DYK? Former President Corazon Aquino, the very first female president on Asia died because of Colon Cancer? And when she died almost all Filipino people came to her burial, and those who can't leave their homes just watched in their televisions the whole time ... All of the flowers given her burial was yellow... She did a lot for our country that is why many people loved her... May her soul rest in peace...
