Well so far in my Soul Silver I've cought about 5 shiny pokemon, I found a Vulpix, Wailord, Dratini, Gastly (which I traded from Diamond) and finally after doing soft resets for about 3 hours I got my Shiny Rayquaza! That would have to be my best achievement so far.

i was playin diamond and found a shiney geodude XD i evolved it into graveler now it looks like a ball of pooh ._. with arms...

wakky22 4wendy who else has trouble shiny hunting? I have been trying to catch a shiny Pachirisu for 4 days with no success. never in my life have i cuaght a shiny pokemon! or seen one! actually i have very good sucess with shineys as i have a whole party of em a pachirisu would look lik: SHinyAny ?'s call meh

Alas Ive only seen a few shinys
I had a shiny rattata, spinda, and beautifly and charmander.
I want a shiny eve >.<
Anyone got any of those??

Ive been on the search for a shiny Caterpie for weeks now. D;
If ANYONE has one ill trade you a Shaymin/Darkrai/Phione for it.
Shiny Metapod/Shiny Butterfree works too.

I want a shiny vulpix/nitetails eevee/umbreon and that's about it xD
I should have soft reseted to get a shiny lugia D:
I think I should soft reset to get a shiny Ho-Oh, I don't see many of those around.
and it's pretty cool looking xD I had a shiny Ho-Oh in Silver(not Soul Silver) I didn't know it was shiny for years.
I had a shiny furret on Silver too, I kinda want one bag now, just because I knew it was shiny and it meant a lot to me D:

Only shiny I ever encountered was a Caterpie... at the start of the game, when didn't have balls yet!! scream
That was on my original Gold game, never found a shiny since gonk
Edit: ooooh but I'm getting a shiny Eevee from the pokemon tourny at the end of the month 4laugh
