Ruby's ears perked up when she heard Sera. She licked her food and ran out on all fours, since she went fast and was only a blurr. She was suddenly in the dining room near Sera, and standing now. Ruby held her arm in a weird fashion, having run on all fours made it bleed slightly more and made as red blood stain on the bandages. "W-where do i eat miss Sera?" She asked, not even sure if a fur covered creature was allowed to eat with the others in this house.

Only one thing could seperate Forest from his reading so easily: Food. As soon as he heard Sera call for dinner, he was on his feet, all four of them, running in his dog form yet again. He figured he'd get there faster that way. He stepped through the door, changing back into his human self, only to see he wasn't the only guest for dinner. A beautiful women, practically radiating a golden light of magnificence, was standing in the dinning room. Accompanied by a rather dark and shadowy winged being as well, looking like a body guard from the way he stood next to her. Forest glanced over at Sera, pulling out chairs for her guests. Forest put on his best smile, and introduced himself, "Hello, I'm Forest. May I ask why such a magnificent creature like yourself is caught up in a demon's house?" Forest couldn't help himself, he was only being humorous, but he was sure Sera didn't approve. Which only made his smirk even wider.

Sera smiled at Ruby and gestured to the a seat on the opposite side of the table. Since Elphida and Adrian were her guests, they sat on either side of her as she was the head of the table, so Ruby was sitting beside Elphida--Elphida's unending kindness would be a good experience for her. "You are certainly sitting here with us, Ruby, don't worry. Prejudice isn't a common thing in this house." Then, turning to see Forest immediately target Elphida, she rolled her eyes. Then she said, "Sadly--since Raven won't be attending--Forest is sitting beside Adrian. You two may find something in common between you." she hinted with a smirk. Forest could be so... predictable sometimes. Elphida was indeed beautiful and kind--the peak of admirable women--and she wasn't surprised that he had gone for her in an instant, but since she knew Adrian very well, she knew he wouldn't appreciate a shape-shifter making such obvious moves on his mistress. She stood for a moment, thinking if there was anyone missing from her table.

Forest glared at Sera, then went to take his seat, he wouldn't let himself become discouraged. He had all dinner to deal with her, right now, he was hungry.

Ruby grinned brightly and bowed her head slightly. "Thank you miss Sera." She said and walked over to her seat and sat down. Her tail curled around and laid in her lap. She held her arm against her torso and smiled when she said Raven wouldn't be attending, knowing it was the gardener sicne she had warned her. "I am glad he is not coming to this feast, if I may call it that. " She said mostly to herself as she messed with her arm.

Elphida skipped into the wonderful home of Sera, placing the cookies on the marble counter. Upon the arrival of the two new comers Elphida smiled widley and responded to Forest's greeting with an enthusiastic "Pleasure to meet you!" what a wonderful collection of the races Elphida thought, relishing in the peaceful vibes within the room, despite the many differences. Taking her seat to the side of Sera and across from Adrian, Elphida looked forward to getting to know the newcomers. "So Forest, Ruby, what brings you to the wonderful home of my dear neighbor?" She said, thinking the two had come together for they showed up on the same day.

Ruby looked up when she was spoke to. She shrugged and looked down as she messed with her arm. "Well as you can easily see I am quite petite and I hadn't been eating well....My job not bringing in enough money at times for me to eat. And Sera bought me a meal and let me come to this wonderful place, offering many things which I did much like but didn't like how I was getting them for no reason. So now I will be working for her." Ruby said.

Forest listened intently, letting Ruby finish, he hadn't known her full story either. He didn't really know what she'd be doing for Sera but he was sure he'd find out eventually. Forest met Elphida's gaze, he wasn't really sure how much Sera would want Elphida to know. He decided he wouldn't give details. "Oh, I've just been talking with Sera about some things, we'll hopefully be able to help eachother." He glanced at Sera, staring at her food, looking for a reaction. Back to Elphida, he smiled again.

Looked at Ruby after she had commented on Raven's absence. The sadness in her eyes could only be described as those of a parent estranged from her child. Her face instantly lit up, though, once Elphida began to be regular bouncy, cheerful self as she got to know everyone in the room and became the ultimate ice-breaker. She sat down in her seat at the head of the table and gestured for the others to do that same so that they could begin. Sera turned to Elphida after Ruby explained her situation and said with a twinkle in her eye, "Yes, I decided that perhaps someone as old as me could certainly use some protection." She looked at Forest after his comment and tried not to roll her eyes. Sera trusted Elphida and Adrian through and through and could only hope that they felt the same. His silly suspicions weren't warranted here. "Well, everyone, I hope you enjoy Italian." she said with a smile. "Oh! I almost forgot! I have some hibiscus tea in the fridge." she said excitedly. A hard Demon she may be, but she had to admit that she had always enjoyed an iced cup of hibiscus tea. The door opened and she saw another Demon enter and sit down at her table. With both concern and surprise, she said carefully, "Gal.... to what do I owe this pleasure of your company?"

Seraphe stood quickly. With a quick look around to her guests, she gave Elphida a particularly kind glance, before looking at Gal with a stone-cold look. She was already shifting her oh-so-familiar General mode in order to deal with this soldier. "Gal, I will receive whatever you have to say in another room, please." It wasn't a request. It was an order masked behind her domestic tranquility. She walked into the other room with the air of one accustomed to being in control.

Gal, being one to fallow orders, fallowed her. Gal: i have an order from the counsel. he took a letter out of his pocket and gave it to her. Gal: in all it says that you have to alow soldiers and others of the army to come here if they need help or food. he hesitated a bit. Gal: it also says that i have to stay here to watch over and protect your home. they said that this building is very important to them. dont ask me why. trust me i would rather be out killing angels than siting here playing guard dog.

Elphida looked at the sudden appearence of the newcomer with interest, she was about to introduce herself after getting over the small shock when he commented on his hatred of Angels. Elphida cocked her head to the left and her blue eyes widened slightly. He used the word hate the very word sent shivers all the way down to the tips of her wings. Hate was such a strong word, how could he hate an entire race? Did he know all of us? Her lovely face turned to a sad frown as the stranger left with Sera to another room.
