This was his room. Guess Rayna didn't lie about it still being here. Not that he really doubted her, but he still found it strange. "Next room." He muttered.

It's been a long day. Rather, night. He opened the door to his room and lay on the futon that was at the corner. He slipped out of his vest, and leaned his katana on the wall beside him then stripped down to his boxers. With a groan he rested on his back, and covered himself with the blanket. "...What to do?.." He thought, closing his eyes and crossing his arms behind his head.

It was so quiet. Like no one was around. It reminded him of when he was back in his village. The only person there was was him. No one bugged him, or approached him. It was a nice feeling..like relaxing. He walked over to his chest, the darkness allowing him to open it. He rummaged through it, and pulled out a six-holed blue ocarina, and took seat next to the chest. "It's been a while.." He spoke to himself, and adjusted the mouthpiece againt his lips and carefully danced his fingesr along the holes. An ethereal but melancholy sound whistled in the room, and he closed his eyes as he played an old song of his. It was really slow, calm despite the sadness in the melody. He remembered playing one day while he was walking in his travels. It was only him in a large wasteland. Back then he didn't have to worry about the demons chasing after him. One day he had gone for an excavation in the mountains in search for some artifact a client wanted. It was known was the Universal Star. It was only called that because from a distance it shone like a star. Dark never attained it. He lost it against the guardian that had been guarding it. Both the stone and golem had fallen victim as the caves collapsed around them. His client had been infuriated and didn't pay him.

He switched his melody to a more upbeat one, swaying side to side as he played it. About four months ago he remembered having come across some merchant. A rather happy fellow, always smiling as he bartered his merchandise. But someone in the man's eyes said that he wasn't as happy as he convinced everyone to be. Dark found out later on. His two daughters were given to a demon lord in the east lands as harems one night when the merchant couldn't afford the pay the tuition of his home. So the demon lord took his daughters as payments, and the merchant had done his best to gather enough of it. "...." Dark stopped playing and stared at the darkness ahead of him. "..He said that he smiled because it was the only way to go through with it. If he was always sad about it he would never rescue them.." He muttered to himself, closed his eyes and continued playing. Dark offered his assistance, and the merchant had asked him why. Dark gave no reason, and he invaded the demon lord's castle. It had been harder than he had thought, but he killed the guards and rushed through them all. When he reached the demon lord one of the girls had been slain for defiance. The other had been gorged in her sister's blood. Dark had saved her, but she had been traumatized. The father was both glad, but had cried for his daughter. She was never the same after that. Having been defiled day after day, and having her sister slain in front of her and bathed in her blood. It was too much for her. She and her father lived in Sanctum now, but he never paid them a visit. Why should he?

"Humans are sometimes as bad as demons, though.." He told himself, suddenly losing the nerve to play his ocarina. So he put it away. Instead of putting on his vest and pants he reached into the chest and pulled out an old dusty yukata. It was blue. It was old. But he slipped it on. It fit him loosely, but it was still good. The day he had gotten this was one day at a carnival back in Sanctum. Why he brought the chest with him he wasn't sure..after all he was planning on leaving. He adjusted the sash around the haori then slipped his katana behind his waist as he stepped out of the room. "A dip in the springs sounds about right now.."

He stripped himself of his kimono and threw it on the futon. It had been a long time since he's worn that, and it had felt pretty awkward. There was a red mark at the center of his chest, where not only the arrow had struck but the magic that had been infused with it. If he was normal he would have died. Dark slipped on his vest and pants, and adjusted the headband around his head. "..Hmm." He felt like a child. Having nothing to do and yet he stuck to wandering around. It wasn't a bad thing, but.. "...That's right. I wonder how Ray's doing." He whispered to himself, slipping his boots back on. "I wonder if she's still resting. Guess I'll check up on her." He took to his stand, stepped out of his room and headed towards Rayna's room.

He collapsed on his bed, and sighed heavily as the fatigue caused him to close his eyes. I could so easily just die here.. He thought as he felt his sleep take the better of him. He wondered...how would he fare in a practice against Dawn? The guy was a power-house, and pretty well-rounded with speed. Demarris also came to mind..he still wanted to fight the guy. Miki was another person he wanted to battle as well. He opened his eyes, and crossed his arms behind his head. "..But..it won't happen.." He told himself as he closed his eyes, and let the sleep lulll him into the darkness of his mind.

He stood at the center of a fallen town, demons slowly crawling their way towards him from the windows and roofs of the buildings around him. Avian types circled deadly around him like vultures, waiting for Dark to collapse from his injuries. More demons formed a wall around him to keep him from running off. It's been so long that he's been in Hell, and the pressure was already getting to him. He had just finished killing his father back up on Earth, and the Chaos Dragon had roughly fused into his own body. He had been suprised, but the shock was far too early. After the battle he was pulled in Hell, in the middle of this battlefield. How long had he been fighting? Blood oozed down from his head, and his arms barely had the strength to lift themselves. His arms were cruised and cut from the battles that he's gone through, but his aura still surrounded him - ready for another battle. The demons slowly began to pull away from him, and Dark questioned their retreat. Right when he was able to rush forward for another killing frenzy, a dragon swooped down, took a mouthfull of the demons, ate them and whipped his tail wildly to strike at Dark and send him skidding across the charcoaled ground of Hell. His body ached, even more when he pushed himself back up. "I thought I killed you.." Dark thought as he made a stand, and stared at the dragon he had killed back on earth. Its scales were a beautiful blackened color, its eyes narrowed red with the horns mounted on its head curved straight forward. To be inpaled by such a creature would obviously mean death. Its wings spread, with a roar his father called out to him.. He woke up. His eyes slowly opened, and the roof of his room greeted him. "...It was a fun battle.." He whispered to himself as he slowly sat himself up. It was battle after battle, and that had been one of the first truly intense battles he had fought. Besides the one with Demon, Dark's father had been probably his strongest opponents. The only thing Dark had to overcome was the terryfying foul stench of being so close. Ever since his father threw away his human form, the decay and smell of the things he ate accumulated not only in his breath but around him. Hygiene was just something that couldn't be done with as a dragon. "I kind of wished the dream went all the way.." He stood up and retrieved his katana that rested along the bed. He felt like walking. He'd go to the Lake.
