Nice theory except Im pretty sure Lux doesnt even vend, so he wouldnt be using firefox and cathcing those big items priced cheaply. I can see that happening to Mebu and Kamui99, but what about Cryptex too. Ive never seen her get a big item priced cheap like any of those sashes Mebu got. We may never know how they did it.

So the being bumped off isn't necessarily something to worry about? It happened to me once yesterday when I was on dolphin mania. I've dressed down and whatnot but I don't know if I have enough to worry about hackers... I may disperse my wealth though.

Archon of Aegis Den ro kun I made a bank for the bulk of my wealth but I have to wait three days to get a trading pass. Most of my gold is in items at the moment so I've also transfered most things to another account. Yeah well sadly I can't right now because gaia has a new rule about the trading pass can only be acquired in three days. What if I don't have three days?

I don't know why I got hit, I'm not a prominent vender/exchanger and I don't have any major '03 items like a DT or mini's. It doesn't make much sense to me either. I'm wondering if I did a "at the wrong place at the wrong time" thing.

Ok, so I've been reading the theory and I believe its correct or very close to it at the least. I'd like to at least put my 2 cents in, on a way to prevent it. If it was indeed a Keylogger then Last Pass is the way too go, its what I use no matter what site I'm on. This tool stops keyloggers because it enters the password for you in an encrypted way. You can set it to remember them auto enter them for you, (makes it quicker to buy things too) or require a prompt from you to enter it. 80k/385k A good idea would be to disable all thrid party cookies in your browser.
Also, set your security settings so that all cookies and history are deleted once you close your browser window.
Also, remove the "save all passwords" option in your browser as well.
Tools>Options>Security
Unclick "Save all passwords"
Then erase all previously saved passwords.
Also, be sure you're running daily security scans with something like AVG or Spyware Doctor.
It won't guarantee that you won't get hacked, but it won't hurt either. p.s.- ilujd
