Third part is timing. Up until at least the first mini-boss of a level, if the game is running full fps there is some timing to the enemies, bullets, etc.

Programming the general gameplay is rather easy. The hard part is the music and danmaku patterns. You two better start studying trigonometry like there's no tomorrow.

I got second place in the Math Olympiad here in Mexico.

And I also passed with flying colors the Math class back in college that everyone, I do mean EVERYONE, flunked on the first try, and barely made it on the second.

I think I have the trig thing covered. wink

Oh, I envy you. Math has always been a living hell for me.
