Hello everyone, my name is Daeva and I'm a 20 year old Buffy addict. I saw the movie and found it to be enjoyable so I was thrilled and excited when they made it into a show. I've seen every episode numerous times and have the season five DVD, which was a birthday gift. heart The thing I find slightly funny is, from the season 2 premiere, I knew something was going to happen between Spike and Buffy. I mean.. Buffy is this powerful slayer sworn to kill vampires and fight evil and whatnot while Spike is this incredibly evil, and incredibly sexy vampire. Honestly, I didn't really like Angel and Buffy together, I don't know Angel was just.. too broody for me. All my friends were like "Oh, Angel is the BEST!" but I didn't see it.. I thought it was sweet when they played out Xander's crush on Buffy, I was a bit sad when she rejected him for Angel though.
Hmm.. don't -even- get me started on Riley. I found that I didn't like him much honestly. He was just.. too blah. Personally, Spike would've been the better choice for Buffy then. >.> And then there was Ben.. hehe, I suppose he was ok.. excluding the fact that he shared his body with everyone's favorite God, Glory. <.< I can't even put into words how happy/enthusiastic when Spike began to realize his feelings for Buffy. I remember telling my friends "Spike and Buffy -will- be together!" even as early as season 2 and they all laughed.. Though, it was cruel of her to reject him time and time again, especially after he bared his heart and soul to her. He'd been hurt many times and it isn't fair. I especially loved 'Something Blue.' That was one of the most memorable episodes for me because it showed Buffy and Spike as they should be; together and happily in love.
Another thing about Buffy that I liked was how it indirectly addressed real life issues without being too preachy and boring. It has a positive message for teenagers, and anyone really. It shows that life isn't always easy and it isn't always pretty, but those are the things that are worth living. For example, the one in season 1 where Willow meets the mysterious guy over the internet is a good one as it shows that people are -not- always what they seem.
Anyway.. I believe I've rambled on for long enough.. I suppose you can PM me if you wish to discuss any of this further, hehe. Or I'll be around so you can catch me in one of the threads. ^.^

wow. a buffyverse guild! i got my inviation just now and it was sent a month ago XD sorry about that sweatdrop anyways this is kewl thanx for inviting me whoever did that! i'm cadence btw. but i guess that's kinda of obvious xd

heya im new here so here goes..
my gaia names naamah, but real im jade, i started watching buffy when season 2 started i bough the first one cause it looked good and got adicted to it. My fav char of all time from buffy was spike heart but in angel it hands down Puppit angel hehe. My fav baddy was glory easy, come on all the others looked evil )except warran he was just annoying -.- i hate him for killing off the best couple EVER tara and willow domokun scream domokun ) glory looked all cool being evil, pretty and sexy as well as being a sexy ben ok i rampled on to long hope i get to know every1 betterer

*Approaches the podium nervously, and stands in front of all her peers*...um...Hello m-my names-s K-K-Kathryn and I-I-I've b-b-been a B-Buffy add-d-dict for s-s-seven ya-ya-yaears now...*sighs a sigh of relief as a bead of sweat roles down forhead*...wow I'm glad to get that off my chest!!!
Lol anyway my name Is Kathryn and It's a pleasure to meet all of you. I have had a severe adulation for Buffy the Vampire Slayer since it's first episode, "Welcome to the Hellmouth" and to its last "Chosen". I grew up with buffy and she's one of my heros to take the world's evil on while battleing chemistry? Amazing! Any series that empowers females is a strong favorite, but there was something else captivating in buffy...something all fans know but can't really explain it's just it's kinda perfect in the way it makes you feel sometimes...really I can't explain.
