"My word is sufficient for you." Thats good enough for me. I've seen an experienced enough in my life to convince me the bible is true and unerring.
I understand, however, that that dosn't work for "them"
I've never EVER mentioned God in any of my debates because, well, I don't believe in God. Anymore.
And even when I did, I was really too young to care about abortion.
Frankly, the Old Testament is harder to get people to swallow.
For me, the real... stuff that I hate is in Leviticus.
That chapter spits all over 'my people'. Tsk, tsk. I know this quote is from long ago but I wanted to say something about leviticus...
It was written for a specific people who were in grave danger of their entire culture disappearing. From this angle it is very easy to see why homosexualiy was "condemed" because it does not encourage the continument of society.
Also, interesting to note, the next words after "don't lay with men as you lay with women" were "don't gossip" I always thought that was kind of funny given the severity of judgement often passed on homosexuals.
