Ike's eyes went wide as he watched Shammi eat the jello, but he soon calmed.
"Shammi like?"
"She's so cute..."
"Uh...yeah. It does," Liam pointed to his hand and wiggled his fingers, "See that purply colour? Used to be frost bite. They never quite got rid of it."
Yay for being an ignorant jackass and not wearing gloves!

"Luff lolo!" Oh, Shammi did not like jello. She LOVED jello. It was one of the few things that Erishi could make constantly, and well. Shammi would probably be living off of takeout once she progressed to solid foods.
"Ouchies. Frost has bad teeths, then." She reached out to touch the purple. "Purple is pretty, like the funny girl with Shammi. Would purple skin look neat on me?"

"Good," Ike smiled, and then came upon a stunningly unnerving thought, "Did Shammi get her present?"
"Well, I..." Liam thought for a moment, and then realized what she could possibly be implying, "Err...no, I don't think so. Pink is a much better colour. You should just...stay light pink. That funny girl is Clemmie. She's Ike's sister."

Still sucking on her fist, Shammi blinked at Ike. Present? The shiny in the box that Erishi had given her? "Innee Ikee!" Shammi squealed, shaking her hands towards him. Shammi approved of shinies.
"Hmm. You sure? I bet if I laid in the snow for a few hours I'd turn a really neat color. It wouldn't hurt till after, neither. But if Pink is okay, then okay." Still smiling, she bounced slightly.

"Yeah, I'm sure," Liam scratched the back of his neck, catching a scar and pulling away quickly, "What're you doing for hte holidays? Do you celebrate any?"
"Uh...huh?" Ike said and took Shammi from Clemmie, "Here." He fiddled around in his pocket and pulled out a chain, holding it up to Shammi. She didn't weigh a whole lot...
"Shammi put the pink thing on here 'nd wear it on her neck."
Clemmie smiled at the baby. She hadn't the slightest idea what she really looked like, but since when did cuteness have anything to do with physical appearence?

"Holidays?" Erishi serched her mind for a few moments, eyes unfocusing. "I remember the forth of July. Booming and booming. And something about turkeys. Is there a holiday where they blow up turkeys? I'd totally celebrate that. We could plant a tree too, 'cause I see people driving around with trees strapped to their cars. Poor trees."
Shammi took the chain and held it up, examining it with both eyes. Shiny. She approved. "Tank, Ikee." She said, grasping it tightly. She followed the swinging chain with both eyes before turning one towards Clemmie. "Ike sh'inee, Immie?"

"Uh...yeah. Forget I asked," Liam said. He'd just run out of subject matter.
"Huh?"
"Somethin' about Ike bein' shiny..."
"Errr..." Clemmie smiled and fiddled with one of her earrings, "I don't know what you're saying, Shammi. What do you mean?" Ike certainly wasn't shiny, and the little girl didn't seem to be unintelligent.

Erishi, unfortunatly, hadn't. "A long time ago, I had some friends. I locked one of them in a bathroom for six hours and she was claustriphobic. She got back by locking me in the bathroom and there was a spider and the next thing I knew I woke up in a white room on a bed, and she yelled at me for ruining christmas." Erishi sighed and patted her mechanical hand.
Shammi screwed up her face, trying to make her mouth move right. "Immie w-w-wike sh'inee?" There, that sounded more like a word! "Ammy w-w-wikes sh'inee."

"Well, I can understand that," Liam said, "I haven't got any phobias for you to exploit, sadly." His eyes flickered to his side when the current intangible invisible rifled floated. Erishi was amusing and nice...but also quite frightening at times.
"Oooooh!" Ike's mouth split into a wide, fanged grin, "Yeah! Ike likes shinies."
"I do too," Clemmie smiled. Having a sibling with a name almost exactly like "like" was going to cause problems.

"It was funny. She wouldn't talk to me for weeks." There was a somewhat wistful quality in her voice. "But that was long ago. I went away and she went away and we never saw each other again. It was neat, though. They had to put a metal plate in my head because I ran into the wall running from the spider and broke my head."
Sighing, Shammi beamed at them both. Speaking was hard, and no one seemed to speak the same words that Erishi spoke. When she dialed '7' and told them "Boombums!", no one would send her Jello, and they yelled and got nasty. "Lolo, Ikee? Lolo, Immie? Lolo pawwy!" She cheered finally, throwing both arms up.

Crow, who had been in deep (teasing) conversation with Julian over his dance with Rabid, looked up and clapped a hand to her forehead. She'd been so intent on jibing her unfortunate brother, she hadn't even noticed Rabid's return, or the portal that came with her. Nudging Julian in the ribs and grinning only slightly suggestively, the tips of her fangs peeking out over her lips, Crow waggled her eyebrows.
"Go on, go make nice. I'll make sure to collect any organs that get ripped out."
Julian stuck his tongue out and ditched Crow, sidling back up to Rabid with a fixed look of collected cool on his face (which was steadily returning to its state of perpetual blush).
"Hi again," he said, smiling slightly.
Exhausted from her rampaging dancing, Lenore staggered back to the refreshments table and grabbed a drink before heading over to Malachi and Clemmie.
"Didja see my dance? It took me days to get it - hey, its Shammi! Hey, kitten!" she said, cutting herself off and squatting next to Shammi with a pleased expression.
"Is your crazy mum here, too?"

(( Wow, so much happened when I was asleep o.o; -prods ze first six pages- ))
"Late again, as always." A sigh escaped Silencer as she stepped through the doorway into the beautifully decorated ballroom. The girl was dressed casually in a Toscano zip front cardigan sweater with a white sleeveless turtleneck underneath and a pair of black pants, which look suspiciously like the one she usually wore. Curled around her neck was a fluffy white fox, whose bright golden eyes peered around the room curiously as Silencer turned around to Rex and waved him in, her face all smiles.
Rex emerged a second later, a very grumpy tyrannosaurus behind him. The boy too was dressed casually, though in a light, earthier tone compared to Silencer's all black(well, almost) attire. The boy gazed around the room pleasantly, his face brightening up at the sight of Ike.
"HI IKE!"

Gullien peeked through the doorway, rather overwhelmed by the large decorated room and the number of people she didn't know. She was rather late... although she also gotten rather lost, which would account for it. Still, it looked like she'd missed the critical time when everyone was just meeting each other and still making introductions. Almost everyone had already branched off into little clusters. Well... not everyone... noticing a brown-haired woman nearby (another late-comer?), Gullien decided to take a chance and head for her. Clutching her invitation in one hand, Gullien wheeled Thylassa's stroller into the room.
Thylassa sat proudly in her stroller. Unlike Gullien, she'd dressed up for the occasion in a cute little red dress and hat, with dagger-holes punched in it for her bobbles. In her lap was a snowglobe, purchased for the host of the party. It was pretty and fragile and very hard for her to resist sticking in her mouth, but the threat of Gullien taking it away was too strong for her to act on.

"Ah, thanks," Xiao Ling replied after Rabid explained, looking at the portal for some time. "I don't think I'll be going there, the party is nice," she continued, before heading towards the buffet table.
Kunjiro followed his mother when she walked towards the buffet table. He was interested in all the food on the buffet table, but he was too short to reach the food. He walked off and sat beside the snowman, feeling dissapointed. Not long after that, he saw a familiar face joining the party. "Is that Big?" he said in a small voice.
"Huh, Big?" said Xiao Ling, as she was walking to where Kunjiro was. "Hey, isn't that Rex?" she exclaimed, walking towards them. She thuoght that it would be better to be with other people than standing there and eat alone.

Silencer's gaze followed her charge's briefly, before wandering off to the rest of the room. Her gaze fell on the newcomer(late-comer like herself just then and she smiled at the approaching guardian, waving to the new face.
"Hello there!"
Rex was just about to run off in the direction of his furry friend when a familiar female voice caught him in his tracks. "Hm?" Turning around, the boy smiled when he saw Xiao Ling and Kunjiro. Boy, the two families sure bumped into each other a lot lately, didn't they?
"'Ey Kunjiro-mum and Kunjiro!"
King, meanwhile, simply glared daggers at everything in the finely decorated ballroom, from the blue and silver decorations to the chairs, tables, people, snowman... everything. A foul mood he had indeed been for the past two days, growling and snapping at every living thing that dared to approach him.
All these, however, changed when the tyrannosaurus cought sight of... the buffet table. Food!
A rumble of excitement escaped King as he attempted to get to the table, pulling heavily in its direction.
"Chrr! Rurr-chrak..."
