Deil takes a blank scroll, jumps again, and throws it at the tile. Best to see it it's gonna start shooting crap everywhere with something soft.

Deil lands back on his feet again and catches the scroll. Now I can try the tile. Deil takes the tile he pulled off the ground and chucks it hard enough for a solid hit, but not so much that it would bounce everywhere recklessly.
[I think I see where this is going though. I'll have to probably block the light with the tile before getting up for a closer look]

Taya waited by patiently, ready to see what was going on. She too noticed the non reflecting tile, and was still rubbing her eye. Taya walked over to Deil, guiding Torch Boy by the hand.

Again, nothing happens to the tile and it is still without blemish or harm. The same goes for the tile you chucked upwards as it flies off the side of the target tile and plummets back down to the ground spinning and flipping around a bit wildly, but not dangerously so.

Maybe the light does not hit the tile for for a reason. Maybe the tile doesn't have something wrong with it, but the light does. Deil caught the spinning tile, and put it down before jumped up into the air within a few inches of having his head hit the ceiling. With his head in the direct pathway of the light to the different tile, he looked down at the Kuni shaped hole.

You don't notice anything unusual. The light shines up brightly and is somewhat blinding now that you are looking directly at it. There is no reason you can think of that would make you think there was anything wrong with the light, but for some reason, it doesn't reflect off the mirrored surface of this one tile.

This reminds me of what the jonin said. The harder you fight, the harder I fight back. Maybe this tile only blocks the light because it is being hit directly. That, or the tile would show something if it were not being shone on. While still close to the tile from his last jump, Deil turned over and make his body parallel to the ground. He was blocking all of the light from hitting the tile, and he looked at his reflection in the tile to see if anything was different about it now that the light was not hitting it.

You don't notice anything about your reflection in this tile that's different then the reflection in any other tile. It seems like the only difference between this tile and all the others, as far as you can SEE, is that it doesn't reflect the green light that shines from below.

So that's it. It just doesn't reflect the light. Maybe it has other properties we can't see. Deil jumps up again and lightly touches the tile, feeling for anything different than normal. Also, he puts his ear close to the tile to listen for any noises.
