SclickH I can barely remember my first deck. My cousin had a bunch of cards so we took turns picking a card from the massive pile, most of them were slivers. Then we played a few games and I kept winning. I'm still playing and he's not, maybe that says something........

My first deck was green and white, centering on hurricanes, scryb, giant spiders, knights, and healing salves, not to give too much away. (it still wins 7-8 out of 10 times)
my grand total wins/losses to date with this deck(yes, I'm pathetic enough to keep a count on all my decks) is 1848/421...not bad for a bunch of commons, eh?

(it still wins 7-8 out of 10 times) my friend had an elf deck that used Hurricane like a fireball. He'd get a ton of elves, Preist of Titania, and Wellwisher. Gain a crapload, attack, finish you off with an 8-12 point hurricane. It was cool. biggrin

miraridemon What happened to my soilder deck? I'll tell you what *mutters curses* Legions cycled out... the deftblade elites, daru warchiefs, mobilization... all gone... *weeps uncontrollably*. But now I have a pretty good samurai deck, as kind of a tribute to my soilders.

My first deck was a goblin deck. Well, err yeah a goblin deck with iron claw orcs, err practically its a red weenie. My powerhouse in that deck was a Shivan Dragon. Oh well... Those were the days where in incinerates and lightning bolts were cool and fireball was a good nuker. I forgot most of the components already. The only thing I remember is that at turn one Mons Gobling Raiders will drop, then next turn I attack then cast a blood lust then next turn Goblin Grenade. A pretty simple strategy I learned during that time and I got used to it that's why I still use that strategy today.

My first deck was the Waking Nightmare pre-con deck from Torment. Still have it. A couple weeks later, I decided to go insane with the deck by making it white, blue, red, and black. And the only lands that produced white and blue mana was 1 plains, 2 islands, and a Serra's Abby. XD XD

i was such a noob back in the day.... a gigantic mono green deck with everything from worms to cats.... with plenty of instants and enchantments.... i never won a game with it. good thing i got much better at deck building....
