Why, with all of a Vampires Strength, cannot he not go out into sunlight- or must he drink blood- or he can't touch silver- or crosses burn him- or does shoving a stake through his heart kill him?

Why do Werewolves, with all of their strength, die from silver bullets?

Why do fairies die from iron?

Why do Prometheans (frankensteins and zombie and stuff) die from fire?

Why are zombies slow?

When you find the answers to these, you will find the answer to why we can't bomb the enemy with 500 cruise missiles.


I'm sorry, it just, PAINS me to see such a smart individual question like this... I know your Smart, Gray, your really smart. So use your brain. Why can't we attack like that?

Also, Archer is right- in a logical situation, this is gaia online, I can roleplay anything I want. But it's more fun to have rules that we have to play by.

My original offer of a strategy was something that could keep us all in context while performing the mission with what we have. Trully, it's a risky operation because having the whole mission depend on one special operations unit while the base is on high alert is nearly suicidal in itself.

This option was not only cost effective, but strategically effective so long as the ground units could cordinate with the navy and air units. Yet, like I requested, I would need to know a full logistical view on our side of the field. I already understand what the enemy has, but that is worthless without knowing oneself. Sun Tzu would weep.

So, with what I knew, and what I had read; I suggested the strategy to remain in context with the original mission. We want to capture the enemy's technology, and so, we have to keep the majority of the base intact. This automatically eliminates a massive bomb/missile attack on the base in whole and would require more precision attacks on mission hindering targets such as the AAs and SAMs. If we attack the main base head on with B-52s and B-1s, we could end up destroying things we seek.

That is also why I suggested bombers would be best to support a ground invasion, not a base destruction.

The last offer, was sort of a joke. Though it would work, it just would undoubtedly destroy some of that precious technology and documents that the Manoka government desires.

We don't have to bite off ears do we? Human flesh is... bland.

As far as my previous post goes, my harshness has hopefully enlightened everyone on the situation. Medicine is often bitter, and if you choose to spit it out becuase it tastes bad then you will never get better or recover from your sickness. If you accept the pain, then you will undoubtedly be capable of getting better.

I only use harshness as a teaching tool; I wasn't trying to upset or get anyone angry- quite the contrary actually. Had I have continued to post regularly it would have made such a big impact as it has, effectively removing the reason why I posted it at all.



Anyways, mothanius, your idea is great. This isn't an all out war though- we aren't as concerned with winning it as we could be. Also, They really aren't that powerful, and possess only a limited amount of force projection as land units. Therefore, we send in units to capture the main base and attack the ground units primarily- if we do this, then we can get a clear shot at the base through a blitz attack, before their air units and naval ships attack the ground units.

Once our ground units are inside the main base, they'll have to obviously, capture it; which will be tough to do. They won't attack their own base with tanks or airplanes, and so the ground units will be safe, IF they can get inside. This is why a lot of emphasis is going on the ground units right now- we need to get them inside the primary base so we can secure it; they'll also, hopefully, gain control of the AA units and SAM's or break them, depending on the situation.

Once that's done though, all hell will break loose and our air units and limited naval units will be able to bomb the hell out of everyone out on the surface. Then an air battle will ensue with limited naval activity partaking in it- primarily missiles and AA guns firing at the aircraft.

We can't just launch a dozen cruise missiles yet though- we need to get our small ground of ground units inside the building- hence our need for infantry.

I like your idea of supporting the ground units will aerial invasion; take out the air units if you can and provide some close range support bombing for the infantry.


You see, despite all of our technological advances, I've thought of a reason why we STILL need infantry and don't waste two branches full of 20 people. Haha, inknowright?

Heres my logic...As long as theres two people on this Earth, somebody is going to want somebody dead. So they're gonna ******** each other, then breed some more. Then wait until the results of mating can make a strong nation. THEN they fight some more and BAM here we go...Back to the beginning. It wouldn't be any fun if you just fired a nuke and ended everything..You gotta check whats going to happen with other nations and whatnot if you fire your nuke...If somebody fires a nuke, theres going to be a ridiculous nuclear war thats going to wipe life off of the face of the Earth...You see why we don't just fire a ******** nuke at Iraq or Afghanistan...Too many consequences, not enough thinking. Despite this being a make-believe battlefield, I think what Suicidesoldier is trying to get at is to keep it as real as possible..
