Stella

There was a quick flash behind the Gardevoir as he entered the Cathedral.
"Jonah! If you really wanted to talk to me, you could have just asked!"
The small Mew floated over the the Gardevoir, wrapping her little arms around the top of his head in a little hug.
"Did you come to pay respect to my cousin, too?" asked little Stella.

Jonah

Jonah's eyes flickered upwards when a familiar voice started speaking to him, and he smiled for a moment before ducking out of Stella's grasp and turning to face her. "I may do that when thing get a little less urgent, but I was actually looking for you."

He hesitated, gathering his thoughts for a moment before continuing, "It seems that one of our best bets to defeat this Teacher is to fight fire with fire. Ergo, we need to find Flash." Wrapping up his explanation, the Gardevoir waited to see how much Stella knew of the Mewtwo's whereabouts.

The Mew let out a tiny gasp as the Mewtwo was mentioned.
"Flash? Oh my, I haven't seen him in a long time!" She explained with a squeak.
"After the guild fell, we traveled together for a while. But we got separated..."
Stella looked up at the ceiling and sighed.
"I'd give anything to see him again right now. He can't be dead, because I haven't been able to contact him..."

Jonah

"Well, with any luck you may get your wish." Jonah remarked, smiling a little.
He motioned absently with one hand as he explained his idea for finding the Mewtwo in question. "The thing is, you knew him much better than most people, and definitely better than I did. So that means if I could just take a quick look in your mind, I may be able to use your connection with him to track him down." It could be a bit of a tricky process, but he'd done it before and knew what he was doing. The main thing was getting the exact 'psychic ID'--so to speak--of the person you were looking for.

Stella

Stella paused for a moment.
See into her mind?
She was a Mew, so naturally her mental defenses were built up like the most skilled Psychic user.
"Well, I suppose, but don't go messing around in there! It's not polite to go snooping into a young ladies secrets!" She said with a blush.
The Mew then closed her eyes and began lowering her defenses.

Jonah

Jonah chuckled and nodded understandingly at Stella's concerns; being a psychic himself he could appreciate how uncomfortable it was having to have someone poking around in your mind without being able to throw them out. "Don't worry, I only need to check a few memories having to do with Flash. That should be enough to find him." he said, then waited a minute before his eyes started to glow red and he mentally reached out to carefully move through the Mew's thoughts.

Trying to dodge around things that might be uncomfortable for her to have someone else see, the Gardevoir viewed a few memories until a faint signature of the Mewtwo started becoming clear to him, and with another smile he retreated out of Stella's thoughts as his eyes returned to normal.
"Alright, I think I've got it. I should be able to track him down now, thank you."

Stella smiled kindly after Jonah was through in her mind.
"That's good. The last Pokemon I let travel in my head said I was rather loony. I wonder why that is?" She said.
Did it have anything to do with half the stuff in her mind making positively no sense?
Probably.

Jonah

Jonah nodded respectfully, restraining himself from pointing out that Stella was rather 'quirky' enough for some people to think her crazy. He'd gotten a lot better in recent years about not hurting people's feelings in social situations, but there were still times when he had to remind himself that he needed to be nice. Suppose that's what comes from being raised by a team of thieves and opportunists.

"Well I tried to only look at what I needed, not analyze personalities." he remarked with a smile, then turned and started heading out the doors of the church in case the Mew wanted some alone time to pay her respects to Legacy. He waved casually over his shoulder and grinned back over his shoulder as he went, saying, "Pardon me, but now I've got a layabout Mewtwo to find."
As he stepped through the doors, he Teleported away to begin tracking, already focusing in on Flash's energy.

Doku

Doku purred softly as he pushed the large doors open with his paws.
He wrapped his tail around his soon-to-be wife's behind and mewled, licking her ears.
"I gotta' admit, I'm a l-little nervous..." He said softly.

Zori

Zori was pressed against Doku's body, her ears flat against her skull. She resisted the urge to flee the cathedral, instead choosing to shift closer to her mate for comfort.
"...Doku... There's something you should know..." She murmured awkwardly. "...Uhh.... Father Honchkrow... He's also my father." She admitted rather sadly. Father Honchkrow... He wasn't the best parent ever, despite his title.

Doku

The male's ears flickered a little bit.
"Oh, really?" He replied with a blink.
He'd never met Father Honchkrow before, he didn't know what to expect.
"He's not gonna kill me for deflowering his precious daughter is he?"
Dude, that would suck...

Zori

Zori looked away, looking severely disturbed at the thought of seeing her father again.
"He abandoned me to an ill, suicidal mother when I was just a baby, and abandoned me a second time when we met a few months ago. As far as I'm concerned, I want nothing to do with him."
Her golden eyes were dark with shame as she looked back at Doku. She'd never been good enough for her father. If someone had asked him about their relationship as father and daughter, he'd probably deny it outright, just because of appearances. It made her angry, to know that someone would do something so... heartless... but it still hurt to think that she wasn't strong enough to be recognized by her own flesh and blood.

Doku

At this new information, Doku whimpered a bit.
"Seriously?! Zori, if you don't want to do this here, we don't have to," He replied.
The Leafeon turned his head to the rectory and growled.

Zori

"No... I'm not going to let him ruin this for us." She rubbed her eyes with her paws, and swallowed, taking a deep, shaking breath to steady herself. "This is our day, not his." Besides, this WAS the only cathedral for miles.
She touched her muzzle to his, searching for reassurance from her mate. His warm, hazel eyes gazed back at her, and she purred hesitantly, feeling calmer.
She licked Doku's cheek, and the pair continued to walk up between the pews.

User Image~Father Honchkrow

"Dear Arceus! Don't tell me this one's mine too."
A wail echoed through the cathedral, resonating from directly behind the couple as they strolled through the pews. Being a dark type, the Honchkrow source of the sound in question was easily able to appear practically out of the shadows without notice until now. There being no clue to how long he was even there perched on the end of a nearby pew in the first place. As far as the avian was concerned at this moment, there were absolutely no harsh feeling between himself and his daughter. In fact, he truly loved her as such...Just never really wanted the responsibilities that went along with her.
